Great Family Run Company

This is a great company to deal with. The range of cycles is superb and we travel about 70 miles each way to have them work on out cycles if its something we are unable to do ourselves. Its personal service. Customers are known by staff who do everything they can to provide just what you want, We also buy on line and even then you are not just an anonymous number but they will contact you personally if there are delays. A great company to deal with. My first choice every time.

Top mail order!

I have bought a few things over the last year and goods have always arrived very soon after ordering ie ordered Monday, arrives Wednesday.

First Class Experience.

Discovered Cyclesense online when searching for the best price for the bike I was after. I was a bit unsure at first as i was spending a lot of money with a firm I did`nt know but I need`nt have worried. At the end of the online transaction I phoned the shop as I was`nt sure if my payment had gone through, the guy on the other end knew my name straight away and said that he would pass me onto his dad who was dealing with the transaction . Cyclesense is advertised as a family firm and thats the feeling I got , I immediatley felt in safe hands. The bike was despatched and I received it within a couple of days.Excellent service & I would thoroughly recommend Cyclesense to anyone.

Good price. Quick delivery

Excellent service. Ordered a pair of raceblades. Only downside is I ordered on a tuesday and they are closed on a wednesday (otherwise I would have given 5 stars). Saying that they were dispatched free of charge and arrived saturday

1st class service

I telephoned to inquire about size availability and had a very friendly, helpful man answer my questions (on a sunday). I then ordered on-line and received my nice new mtn biking jacket with 3 days. i was kept informed regarding dispatch, delivery etc by email.
Will certainly use them again.

Does what it says on the tin!

They had the part I wanted - which is more than I can say for many other companies out there! Payment process was painless, and part arrived when they said it would -- and bike works better now!

really bad service

i've let my bike in there for a fixing service, haven't use my bike for over a year and there was a lot to be done:

deluxe service, fork service, brake bleed, brake pistons, new chain, new cassette, hub shell and probably even something more than this

i've paid almost 500 gbp in total, but the service i've received was unacceptable, because of:

my bike brake pistons has been swapped without permission, previously i had my front bile on the left and rear on the right, but those has been swapped.

fork jump lock is not working after service, it jumps no matter if it's locked or not

brakes bleeding did not changed anything and brakes are working same as before

hub service has been overpaid because at the quotation state they told me that they could handle it, but as they haven't done it on their own it took more time and money that it suppose

handle bar has not been screwed correctly and i could kill myself, but fortunately nothing bad happened

also few things has been screwed too tight without any oil and my bike is squeaking while i drive

they did not even offer me any refund or discount voucher after i've complained at those things.
only fixing has been offered, but i do not have a time to give them my bike again and what is most important i do not trust them to least my bike with them again.

there are even more small things, but i've already mentioned those big ones just to let you know to avoid them.

Sorry to hear you were not happy with your service in July, at the time we did try to explain the issues to you that you were not happy with but you were unwilling to return your bike for us to assess and explain in detail.

We have a record of emails sent between ourselves that highlight all work undertaken had your consent. Due to the extent of damage and corrosion on your Chris King hub we agreed to send it back to Chris King for the work to be carried out, sadly there was a lead time on the new hub shell due to the colour you requested which in turn delayed the job.

We take every bike for a test ride and after a deluxe service it is our priority to make sure everything is to order before returning the bike, Quality work and safety is what we pride ourselves on.

On this occasion we could not offer any kind of discount as you never came back to the shop to speak to us, only an email after you collected the bike.

Friendly, helpful people who in my opinion provide a fast and excellent service.

I had several phone conversations and email correspondence, everyone I spoke with was friendly and very helpful. This enabled me to make an informed and correct decision on my purchases. This is very important to me when internet shopping, as it can be very difficult to be sure of what I am buying.
I received my items very quickly in fact next day in most instances and the follow up service ie; email conformation and call backs was second to none.
By the way I bought an extrawheel trailer and and a couple of extra bits and am very pleased with it, a pretty awesome idea.

Superfast turnaround.

Really surprised by the quick turnaround and service, they even phoned me to check wether I'd made a mistake ordering a womans saddle.

Friendly and efficient

Had the best price on my main purchase.
One of my selected items was out of stock and they called to suggest an alternative at no extra cost.
Delivery very prompt.
Would have no reservations about buying from Cyclesense again in the future.
