Dell ripoff
Bought a 15” dell laptop and from day one have issues of it freezing and have to restart the laptop. For over a year now Dell is being a pain and refuses to replace the laptop but sat a depot repair is only thing they will do. Had another computer repair guy come look and he said motherboard is failing. I want my money back but Dell refuses. Beware Dell will not stand up to warranty. I tried a chargeback on my cc but it was past 60 day window even tho I thought Dell was a good company. Never buy from Dell. Now going to BBB and consumer protection for results
Dell's bad hinge on Inspiron 3511 laptop
I bought my Dell Inspiron 3511 in 2023. Ten months later the right hinge broke and the screen started separating. Dell repaired it under warranty, but now the same hinge has failed again, and the screen is pulling apart so badly I can’t even close the laptop. I have to keep it together with a clip.
Even though this is a repeat defect, Dell refuses to fix it and keeps telling me the warranty is over. I’ve contacted them about 10 times with no help. This hinge issue is a known problem with their laptops, and Dell still won’t stand behind their product.
The laptop works fine otherwise, but the build quality and customer service are unacceptable. I will never buy Dell again.
Worst Computer Experience I’ve Ever Had
This Dell laptop has been an absolute disaster from start to finish. BIOS access is broken, USB boot does not work, and I was locked out by BitLocker with no warning or usable recovery options. Keyboard shortcuts like F12 don’t respond, external USB drives are detected by sound but not usable, and the system constantly traps me back into Windows with zero flexibility.
Windows updates caused black-screen lockups, forced restarts, and left me unable to access my own machine properly. Dell support was completely unresponsive when I contacted them for help with unlocking the system. No reply. No solution. Nothing.
This is not a “user error” situation — this is a locked-down, poorly designed system that prevents owners from controlling their own hardware. If you value your time, files, or sanity, avoid Dell. I’ve never been this frustrated with a computer in my life.
Final verdict: Overpriced, locked-down, unreliable, and backed by nonexistent support.

Wish I could leave negative stars, this company is terrible. Overcharge for cheap crap and their customer service or lack there-of is appalling. Returned an Alienware PC to the (because it’s trash) to be repaired, they’ve changed the repair date 5 times. They’ve had my PC for a month and I’m no closer to having it fixed than I was a month ago. You’d be better off burning your money rather than buying anything from them. It to mention you be grossly overcharged and it will be a slow piece of junk, you will be disappointed I promise you. If your looking for a prebuilt, find a company that knows what they’re doing because Dell clearly has no clue.

Dell is good
4 month brand new alienware laptop with problems : power ,overheating ,bluetooth ,memory . ALL THEY SUGGEST IS REINSTALLING DRIVERS AND SYSTEM .Never worked out !
Update:
After almost a month of strugle with Dell support a supervisor took the case and next monday a technician from Dell replaced the fans ,radiator and now all working (+3 star for that !)
Dell France: no customer support whatsoever

Customer support neither returns the calls, nor responds WhatsApp messages or emails, contacting them is the sheer waste of time.

I bought this laptop a few months ago, then i have realized that there is NO video cam.... no camera!!!!!
When i called to get help, the technician got inside my computer to try to find it, but he could NOT find anything....They sold me a €850 euros laptop with NO camera in it!!!! Your next purchase....i suggest you look for another brand. That is what i will do, unless they help to fix the problem...

Guys I am crying while writing this as a college student six months ago I bought a Dell laptop from the start like my first time using it I knew it would suck but because I was broke I just let it go I had problems at home and didn't attend college so I didn't use it that much and now it just becomes worse the year is starting and I wanted to use it for studying purposes but it doesn't want to have an update also the clavier and the touchpad doesn't work correctly I still haven't install any studies program in it and it lags and gets hot just after turning it on I feel disappointed if I just kept my money it would be better than this waste I am just crying none stop I've tried anything you can think about but it just doesn't work correctly I regret buying this shi*.
