Excellent machine
I did not receive the special offer of the iced coffee kit as advertised. After ringing Customer Services this was sent to me without any fuss or delay. The coffee machine is excellent.

Faulty ordering system and customer support
Faulty ordering system and customer service representatives! After placing an order for a £999 air con unit that was showing in stock and delivery 2-5 working days, I had expected to be prepared for the next (current heat wave)!
Looking at other reviews, it’s clear DeLonghi have some major issues with thier stock control/ordering system and lack of care from customer service representatives!
The money was debited from my account and I spent several days chasing online and via phone after the order status had not changed from ‘processing’. Numerous excuses later, I received an email offering to resolve the issue. Great, I thought someone will finally take ownership of the problem. Next email stated, ‘CANCELLED’!! The order was cancelled by DeLonghi due to ‘over ordering’ and instead of the 14 day refund, I was given a 3-5 day refund timeframe! Wow how generous! I asked when the product would be back in stock and if offer of first refusal but no reply! So between 25th June and 6th July, my air con unit appears to have been floating in thier system with the money in their account (still waiting for refund).
In this age of technology, I struggle to comprehend how products can be oversold, when any basic stock control system would contain associated serial numbers and product ID’ that would later correlate with customer order ID’s??
Something very broken from their front door which makes me curious about the integrity of any products they supply!
*BEWARE anyone ordering direct from DeLonghi and check other reviews first!!**

Lies about delivery timeframes
I ordered a refurbished portable air conditioner from De'Longhi - their website promises delivery within 1-3 working days of placing the order. I placed the order on 1 July 2026 and its now day 3 but the air conditioner hasn't even been collected by the delivery company. De'Longhi's customer service told me collections from their warehouse only happen on Thursdays so their 1-3 working day delivery promise is an outright lie. I ordered the air conditioner because I have a baby at home and there is an upcoming heatwave - and now I won't receive the delivery in time.

The delivery driver didnt pick up the return and left a message saying he was advised there was no pick up to be made. I took a day of work to accommodate the collection, no one called me, no one rang the front bell to the flat

Bad quality product and service
After just over the year mashing broke it cost me almost £1,000 how and why it broke so quick my query quality of the De'Longhi products I have sent it for repairs over 2 weeks and I'm still waiting I keep texting calling and I'm still waiting They're supposed to dispatch it week ago and I'm still waiting they haven't done it yet Very bad customer service if this machine break and it will be out of order I just been it and I'll buy different make

Losing the will to live
I placed an order for an air conditioner unit on Friday 26th June. Shortly after the order was placed, the status changed to cancelled I contacted customer services who got back to me the following Tuesday to say the unit had actually been shipped on Monday 29th June and I would be contacted by their courier service within 24 hours. So far so good? No. I don't get wound up that easily but this company is the worse I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. In actual fact the unit is still awaiting release from their warehouse. Having looked into the contractual aspect of this order, I am within my rights to cancel as it still hasn't left their premises. They blame their courier, I don't believe that. I tried ringing, emailing, web chatting including this morning who was actually quite rude and cut me off. They say I must refuse delivery. I don't want to refuse delivery I want my money back from this awful company.
Edit - spoke to a very nice man who said he would cancel for me. His name is Seth and he was understanding. Yesterday got another email from Alicia fobbing me off AGAIN and refusing to cancel stating that its on its way. They have been saying this for 2 weeks. I just want it cancelled. It really needs to be escalated. I'm so tired of dealing with them. Am now taking it up with my credit card company

Hose too short to stand unit on floor.
Purchased Pinguino air con unit. Disappointed with length of hose so had to order longer one. Hose supplied wasn’t even long enough to stand unit on floor. Had it balanced on the packaging for 4 days. Wasn’t clear in anything I saw before purchase. Delivery was OK - missed the time slot but kept in contact. Unit works OK now.

Air con unit delivered without rear filter. Spoke to a very helpful lady in the call centre who tried everything possible to get one to us urgently but none available for several weeks. Unit is for my dying husband who has difficulty breathing in the hot weather. Unfortunately out of stock everywhere.

Great coffee machine and a kettle
I bought a Delonghi Dedica coffee machine and a Delonghi kettle. Both work great, coffee is really good. However, I thought the appliances will contain less plastic and more steel but it is what it is.

Delayed delivery by 5 days unrelated to the courier. Customer service said I was only ‘one customer of many’ that they were dealing with, so clearly I was insignificant. Informed me they couldn’t promise anything as it ‘always gets suck in their system’.
All of the above indicative of supply chain issues. Won’t be shopping again with service level so poor.

Poor Service
Why was a home inspection and repair not offered? The elderly disabled customer was expected to package up and return a new coffee machine that did not heat up sufficiently. NOT good customer service.
