A great coffee machine

With the sad passing of our first DeLonghi Primadonna coffee machine after seven years, we needed a replacement. Our new Primadonna Aroma does everything to coffee that we could want. It is a great machine.

Free promotional item denied

Free promotional item, was denied in contradiction to stated terms of sale.

I have recently completed the purchase of a Delonghi Rivelia bean to cup machine, via Delonghi's own website.

The purchase was made sweeter still by the offer of a free LatteCrema Kit worth £100, with Delonghi's own statement in write up

How to claim your gift:
1. Add your qualifying Rivelia coffee machine to your cart.
2. The LatteCrema Cool Upgrade will automatically be added to your basket.
3. Complete your purchase and your gift will be dispatched to your order address in a separate package.

I am now being told promotional item is denied, because I used a discount code,.

Delonghi's terms of sale read as follows: -

3.4. Our company may from time to time offer promotional discount codes to apply in respect of any, or certain specified, Products’ purchases made through this website. Any related special terms and conditions shall be specified at the time of issue.

Delonghi's own terms of sale do not make any comment on the application of discounts and their website, does not make you aware that the use of a discount voids the promotional item.

Purchased in good faith and all attempts to resolve via online portal have thus far failed.

The terms and conditions Delonghi rely on, do not appear to support their stance. Experience ruined, leaving a very bitter taste..

Appalling service.

Bought new delonghi magnifica start. Milk carafe is not recognized by machine. Delonghi help was incredibly slow to reply and never suggested returning and replacing unit. Returned for a full refund thanks to Amazon. Worst customer support. Do not buy direct from them.

AVOID Vertuo Lattissima

Bought a Vertuo Lattissima and sent it back 3 times for repair. Appalling service, appalling attitude and refused refund by them. Would NEVER buy DeLonghi/Nespresso again. Only gave 1 star as no option to give zero!

No free returns policy even under special circumstances

Hello
We by mistake bought two coffee makers and needed to return one but was very upset that we had to pay for the retur
Having been a very loyal customer for 40 yrs we will never buy another product from DeLonghi as we expected to be able to return one coffee maker free!

Do not buy Rivelia DeLonghi

Do not buy Rivelia DeLonghi. Sent my coffee machine for repair and it came back worse. Asked for a replacement and was refused. Tried twice to arrange DPD collection and they never showed up. Customer service is useless—just keep saying they’ll reschedule and nothing happens. Been two months chasing and it's frustrating.

Good and solid but has shortcomings

Pinguino Compact Air Conditioner & Dehumidifier is a bit too far on the pricey side. More a £300/£350 product rather than £400+.

As much as I was honestly lucky to snag one, I wouldn't naturally recommend the product at that price to friends unless it's an emergency but, I will say it's a solidly built little unit with humming that's easily ignorable. I do wish they gave you a longer drain tube that you could cut to end up with both a long and short drain tube.

If you get a window seal for the exhaust and black out curtains it's great and cools quite quickly. Bright room, it'll struggle. The fan mode is also solid and the speeds are okay.

The delivery service was prompt and kept me updated.

Ordering was easy (as usual) confirmation of order less so but likely because of the heatwave and everyone else snatching everything up.

Excellent coffee, but a starter kit would be a nice touch

I bought the PrimaDonna Soul a couple of weeks ago, and so far I have no complaints. The delivery was very fast, the machine is well-built, and the coffee quality is excellent.

Since it uses whole coffee beans, it takes a little time to fine-tune the settings to achieve the desired flavor, but that's part of the experience and the machine offers plenty of customization.

My only remark is that, considering the price and premium nature of this machine, I would have expected a small complimentary gift or starter kit, such as a bag of coffee beans, espresso glasses, or other accessories. That would have made the overall experience even better.

Purchased a couple of radiators via…

Purchased a couple of radiators via their website, one stopped working within a couple of months contacted them provided all the information and proof of purchase and waited over 3 months and still nothing had to contact my bank to get my money back. Their customer support team is in Spain they are not helpful and you always have to wait an hour before they answer. Do not purchase any Delonghi products! I certainly won’t be.

Acceptable service

Shipping out of Italy, packaging leaves room for improvement. It took a week to arrive in Germany and contents were dusty.
