I like my home
I like my home, I had decent treatment, the staff who supported me from beginning to end were very helpful and always ready to help. The staff who signed me in was excellent and explained almost everything that I needed to know and was very friendly and customer oriented and I am glad I got my home through Derwent living.

The staff,Neil and Kim have been excellent as was Alan.Despite the builders dragging their feet the process was easy to follow due to the above mentioned who couldn't have been more helpful.The property is all we hoped it would be and we look forward to making it our long term home.Thank you yo all the staff involved.

Derwent living is a housing association…
Derwent living is a housing association that cares,I have been a tenant for over 26 years and they have always been on the end of a phone to help in any way they can. They just don't give you a home but a community to live in and i highly recommend them.

Im between a 2-3...
Im between a 2-3. Nusience neighbour has been an issue since we moved in 18 months ago, shes been spoken to once and things remain the same. Dissapointed with this. Sad how you take on the house with no flooring, totally empty but they want a deposit as soon as you agree to take the house- not that you can move in without flooring (if you have children at least) so you may end up pating a month extra where you live, deposit and flooring all at the same time. Expensive time. Repairs take forever and in my experience was incompetently done by their engineers. Someone else had to come out to complete the job. Certainly wouldnt move in to one again!

Could do better
Got to begin with the rep who signed us up for the bungalow as the usual rep was ILL she was rude and uninformative. Got to say didn’t really get a lot of help when we moved in with the state of internal walls doors, decorating vouchers offered after all the work was done by us
The garden was over grown no help there either even thou the deco vouchers where offered now told them to keep and put towards the cost of cutting down over grown trees and bushes that where hanging over public paths but that never happens did myself so asked for the valve of the vouchers back did get those Plenty of red tape laid down with any improvement request
Which I see odd as when I uncovered manhole covers which has been covered and buried by previous tenant
They need to sort there maintaince contractors of had two jobs on heating where it took 6 visits to change a radiator valve
Then had a boiler fault which took numerous visits over 5 week to change parts to end up with a new boiler
Our area rep is good thou
