Worst experience ever
I have ordered a dress from the app and it came late than the delivery date by more than 14 days
I have requested for a refund due to the delay however the merchant and the shipper ( DHGate ) keep pushing not to refund me by providing the shipping reference number
At the end I have received a wrong dress
Not even close to the description on application

I received the wrong parcel. When i contacted them , they told me to send it back with tracking details and i would be refunded the cost. Its been over a week and haven't received anything and had very little interaction with them. Though i have tried numerous times. I'll never buy from this site again.

company abcsports2022 taking too long and not able to be contacted sensibly. weird interactions back and no product coming. other suppliers were ok just not this one.

your website makes it impossible to contact you and sellers - either blank screens or no link - obviously an issue and I wont buy any more products from dh gate because of the poor communications

I purchased a watch on January 4th. The pictures were different from the one I received. Specifically, the watch had completely different features and specifications.
I requested a return, and so far, everything was fine...
Except that by returning it, I had to pay €30 to ship the watch back.
The seller didn't pick it up, and I was left in a hellish cycle of duties.
Luckily, I managed to avoid paying any duties.
Everything was fine, except that DHGATE never wanted to reimburse me for the shipping costs, even though I was entitled to them.
DO NOT BUY, BUT ABOVE ALL, DO NOT PAY RETURN SHIPPING COSTS IN ADVANCE.

Ho acquistato un orologio il 04/01, aveva delle immagini diverse da quello che mi e arrivato. nello specifico l'orologio aveva sia le fattezze che le caratteristiche completamenti differenti.
Ho richiesto il reso e fino a qui tutto ok...
Se non fosse che facendo il reso ho dovuto spendere 30 euro per spedire a mie spese l'orologio.
Il venditore non ha ritirato l'ogetto ed io sono rimasto in un giro infernale di dazi.
Per fortuna sono riuscito a non pagare nessun dazio.
Sempra tutto ok se non fosse che DHGATE non ha mai voluto ripagarmi la spedizione nonostante ne avessi tutti i diritti.
NON COMPRATE, MA SOPRATUTTO NON PAGATE ANTICIPATAMENTE LE SPESE DI SPEDIZIONE PER IL RESO.

Do not buy expensive items from this site no matter how good the seller ratings are. I’ve had five orders in total. Three were decent, one was never sent and the most expensive a blazer arrived and it was the cheapest most appalling piece of rubbish I have ever seen.
Trying to get DHGate to respond to disputes is a long and arduous process. In the end I had to return the item at my expense and DHGate promised in writing to refund this however you guessed it, they did not! I ended up getting a refund from my bank for the blazer but never got a refund for the return postage.
My advice is to only buy if you are happy to tolerate poor quality goods. You will not get any kind of decent customer service from either the seller or DHGate. Just look at the cut and pasted generic responses on here to negative reviews. We’ve all already contacted them via the methods on the responses and tried a lot more than that on top.
Buy at your own risk and be thankful if you get something decent from a legitimate and honest seller but don’t expect help if you do not!

Hello, I placed an order with this shop. I ordered two phones as a gift for my sons. However, the parcel couldn’t be delivered and was returned to the shop. The seller refused to refund the money when I took the matter up with the shop and provided all the evidence, including receipts from the DHL courier service, but the shop refunded the money to the seller and I was left without phones and without money. My order number is 318488526226 and the seller I ordered from is mi668
Perhaps my review will help resolve the issue, but in the meantime, I advise you to avoid this shop.

I ordered sunglasses that are advertised as UV protection and polarised and the quality of the lenses are beyond miserable, awful, and I feel scammed. I'm now disputing the full refund of the glasses. You can tell is absolutely made in China, zero quality.

Do not buy from Dhgate. I think I've paid premium for buyer's protection but actually not. I received a dead on arrival automatic mechanicsl watch on Dhgate, and I immediately filed a dispute through Dhgate platform. Submitted unboxing videos which shows clearly watch not ticking after winding or shaking. Dhgate final judgement is Return for a refund at my cost. The cost of sending back is even higher than the purchase price of the watch which is not justified to send back for a refund. I feel I am punished because of Seller's fault.
So don't not buy from Dhgate.

Products on here are good, some are scams and it is VERY anoyying to get your money back. All it takes is a seller to argue back and forth and they win always. I requested help from dhgate for a full order refund of $100 AUD, and guess what i got $8 refunded. HOW GREAT. Also the cherry on top is the customer service is disgusting.

I would strongly recommend avoiding DHgate unless you want a poor product and even worse customer service. I bought some replica sunglasses which were of very low quality with plastic lenses rather than glass which wasn’t specified. But the worst part was I ordered black but was sent brown and despite two weeks of back and forth with the seller (sweetgo) and customer services I received just 25% back in refund and silence ever since. I’ve now deleted my account and the app…

This application stole my money I have ordered clothes they did not send them. I don’t recommend them

Horrendous! Never received items. Contacted seller who repeatedly refused to give a refund, just kept asking me to choose something else. Tried the resolution centre and they disnt help at all. Stay well clear of this company total theft and con.

In. Response to the response from DHGate, i already have followed that process already and got absolutely nowhere.

Seller not delivering item, customer service/ seller response not responding to requests. Watch out for “lost item” it’s a scam they are not responding to get refund for not delivering
Also DHGate customer service absolutely no help. Just AI loop. No help at all

I've discovered something which should worry anyone using DHgate...

🚨 DHgate is actively misleading buyers by actively blocking negative product and seller reviews! 🚨

It's bad enough that DHgate skews ratings by defaulting every review to 5⭐ when the buyer hasn't submitted a review in time, but it's now clear DHgate is blocking and removing negative reviews.

This helps explain why you see so few negative 1⭐ product reviews and why most sellers / stores have near 100% positive ratings.

I've lots of examples, but here's the latest example which proves what DHgate is up to...

I received an item full of defects and missing parts. The buyer didn't care. I had to raise a claim. DHgate's solution was a 20% refund. This solution wasn't satisfactory (but that's another story), as it penalised me and benefitted the fraudulent seller. Obviously I wanted to leave a negative review.

However there are two challenges:

(1) The review free text box blocks negative comments about the seller or the product, so it's very difficult to write something which is accurate and will be accepted. Using words like damaged, defective, fake, poor quality or counterfeit can be enough to block your review.

(2) IF your review is accepted by the free text box but is overly negative, the system then blocks it from being posted and you have no ability to edit it. Your opportunity to leave any review is gone!

I managed to write something which was 'accepted' when I pressed 'Submit button'. The review was very negative about the product and the seller - it look me a long time of re-wording to get something which was 'accepted'. However, shortly after submission, DHgate systematically dissociated my review from the transaction, so my written review disappeared and there's no negative review on either the product or the seller's store!!!
So other potential buyers checking the reviews, they will not see my negative review. And to make things worse, I've spotted many of the reviews for the product are fake. So DHgate is allowing fake reviews, and removing negatives ones!

Upon checking the product listing, my review does not appear against the product or the seller. So the seller appears with a near 100% satisfaction score and the product is 5⭐due to the default system policy.

This isn't a one-off. This is repeated systematic removal of negative reviews by the DHgate platform.
This practice is deeply harmful to buyers. How can you really know if a product or seller is good, or indeed, bad? Why is DHgate so determined to mislead buyers? Once a buyer has a poor experience, they're not going to buy again, so it seems like DHgate is deterring any customers it has from buying again.

SUMMARY:
We all know DHgate is a platform heavily used for purchasing counterfeit or duplicate products, however, DHgate is clearly designed to mislead buyers and supports fraudulent sellers at every opportunity. This is a mistake. When a buyer cannot trust the platform they are buying from, they will begin to look elsewhere. This is why DHgate is failing to grow and buyers are turning to other platforms to buy Chinese goods, as DHgate's policies penalise buyers.

It’s a scam, 60% of the sellers are a scammers and the website helped them, I got LEGO set purchase from DHgate website.
The product was explicitly listed as containing all necessary parts to complete the full model. Yet, upon delivery, I found that I am being asked to buy additional pieces in order to finish the set. This is a blatant misrepresentation of the product.

Money was withdrawn from my account twice, my refund was not approved, the money was not deposited into my account
