DHL lost all 10 of my moving boxes for…
DHL lost all 10 of my moving boxes for 2 months, never called or wrote once, and only started communicating with me after delivery.
One of the worst delivery experiences…
One of the worst delivery experiences I’ve ever had.
DHL manages to make a simple task complicated: delivering a parcel and keeping the customer informed. The tracking is often unclear, updates are late, and the real-time tracking service seems to appear and disappear without any rhyme or reason.
The most frustrating thing is that the customer is forced to stay stuck at home for hours without really knowing when the courier will arrive. If you need to work, play sport, go to an appointment or simply get on with your day, good luck.
Even more absurd is that DHL offers the option to pay by card for certain services, but when you try to use it, the system often doesn’t work properly. Offering a payment method that then causes problems is simply frustrating and gives the impression of a poorly managed service.
Another baffling aspect is the management of collection points. Even when there is a DHL station very close to home, all too often the parcel is sent to a more distant location, forcing the customer to waste time collecting it. It would make sense to use the nearest collection point, but clearly logic isn’t always part of the process.
Then there is the issue of barcodes and unnecessarily complicated collection procedures. Between codes, unclear notifications and often confusing instructions, collecting a parcel becomes more difficult than it needs to be.
In 2026, it is also hard to understand why an app used by millions of people across Europe continues to be so limited in terms of language support. In many cases, the app and various features are available mainly in German, without adequate multilingual support. For an international company, this is simply unacceptable.
Flexibility is also virtually non-existent. All too often, it’s unclear whether a parcel will be left with a neighbour, at a collection point, or whether you’ll have to chase it around town the next day.
In 2026, I would expect a modern, reliable and transparent logistics service. Instead, all too often DHL gives the impression of being a giant bureaucratic machine that has forgotten what it means to provide a good customer experience.
Very disappointing. If I always had the option to choose another courier, I would do so without hesitation.
The most useless customer support ever
The most useless customer support ever. From the dutch customer support i get sent to the german one and vice versa. If a monkey was let to run the company it would be smarter than this.
Terrible experience
Terrible experience, two parcels got back to sender claiming they did not find me at the adress . All lies , nobody answered to the phone , only robots
Very bad experience , will not use them again
MY package was left in the packetzentum…
MY package was left in the packetzentum or whatever. They did not gave me qr code. it was NOT in my mailbox or email. It took 2 days to get my package from automat which is 1.5kms away from where i live. I had to create an account and download an app upload my personal data just to get my package !!! It was a horrible experience. I will notify amazon to not send me any packages with dhl ever again.
DHL IS A AWFUL SERVICE! AND INCOMPETENT!
DHL has been AWFUL they lost two of my packages, they didn't even try to deliver them, they just claimed they did and then immediately send it back to sender, where it immediately just got lost,
calling them up every single customer support person tries to get rid of you as fast as possible, they do not want to help you at ALL, the only Infos they give you is what you already know, when asking for help they just say they're not responsible and blame it on a different department, I got redirected 3 times to different support numbers (sitting like 25 minutes in the waiting line and having to talk to their AI Jana every single god damn time before being redirected to a actual person) just to only keep hearing "oh we aren't responsible for that"
I am fed up. This is unacceptable, this kind of poor service should be punished.
Absolutely catastrophic service from…
Absolutely catastrophic service from DHL Germany.
A driver claimed the recipient “could not be found” even though people were home the entire time. No proper attempt to contact us, no meaningful effort to deliver, no neighbor check, nothing. The package was immediately marked for return.
What makes this even more absurd is that the parcel was only a few kilometers away locally, yet DHL’s system now sends it all the way to Duisburg instead of simply holding it at a nearby parcel shop or distribution center. Because of this, I am potentially forced to drive around 500 km in total just to recover a package that should have been delivered normally in the first place.
Customer service was completely useless. They basically admitted that once the package is “blocked,” nobody can do anything anymore. No flexibility, no practical solution, no accountability.
This is THE most inefficient and frustrating delivery experiences I have ever had. A simple issue that could have been solved locally turned into a logistical disaster because of rigid systems and careless handling.
I will avoid DHL whenever possible in the future and you should do the same.
Worst delivery service to ever exist ‼️‼️
Worst delivery service to ever exist ‼️‼️
Orders never arrived
Packstation: Delivery attempted but no response at Consignee address
I choose DHL Packstation delivery on the sellers EC website and put postnummer. I got an delivery notification by DHL Express like'Delivery attempted but no response at Consignee address'
I don't know this is seller's fault or your fault but I don't like it.
DHL loses packages
DHL loses packages — it happens more often than you’d expect. But instead of helping customers locate a missing parcel, they seem to deliberately make the process harder. There’s no clear place to report it and no proper tools for doing so, as if lost packages never happen to them.
There should be one big button saying “My package is missing.” You enter the tracking number, and everything happens automatically. Instead, you have to waste half a day trying to report it through different channels.
I’ve already been waiting two weeks for my shipment, and there’s nothing I can do. Of course DHL won’t implement something like this, because they’d rather pretend the problem doesn’t exist — admitting it openly would look bad from a marketing perspective..
When I order packages from Germany for…
When I order packages from Germany for delivery to Spain, they do not arrive.
The last one was a CD player. I received my money back from the supplier, no issue. However, DHL says you weren't home.
As a writer, I am always at home or with my wife. But this is a standard DHL excuse.
The tracking system; Now my wife is waiting for her driving license, which DHL sent with tracking number to Spain. Nobody knows where it is. DHL Germany says it is in Spain, DHL Spain says it is in Germany. Still after 3 weeks???? Nobody can help; their tracking system is a joke and provides faulty information. Why do they not learn from TEMU, AMZ, Aliexpress, SEUR, GLS, UPS, or all the others? who have a decent and reliable tracking system., always our parels arrive.
DHL is living in the Middle Ages, and I advise avoiding this terrible carrier with its unfriendly service.
Sorry, DHL, I never missed a parcel, only if you are the carrier.
One of the worst if not the worst…
One of the worst if not the worst carriers there is . everytime im waiting for a order to arrive as soon as i see dhl i know whats coming as they never ring the doorbell and only leave the note to go pick it up or they dont deliver it where they need to but just leave it at the front door without ringing the doorbell again and now i need to carry the packages that weigh +40kg even though ive already paid for shipping costs
I could simply give them zero star if…
I could simply give them zero star if It was possible here.
I sent a parcel from London to Berlin 10 days ago. Royal mail delivered it to germany in 3 days. DHL could not deliver it and the update on their website indicates returned to sender yet no sign of my package. All their online communication is in German making it almost impossible to communicate, neither is any chance to send them an email when it comes to international shipments. It is unbelievable
Absolutely the worst service I have…
Absolutely the worst service I have ever experienced with DHL. They delivered my package somewhere in Berlin that was completely not the designated pickup point. First, I was told it was a “triage area” and not an actual service point, only to be told three days later that it was in fact a service point. The misinformation, confusion, and lack of accountability were unbelievable.
On top of that, most of the customer service agents I dealt with were rude, dismissive, and completely unhelpful. Out of all of them, there was only one competent person who actually tried to assist. I even paid extra for this delivery service, which makes the whole experience even more unacceptable.
Truly shocking service. I will absolutely be filing a formal complaint.
Such a scammers they are didn’t shipped…
Such a scammers they are didn’t shipped my package paid €270 euros and never refund back the money.
Don’t trust DHL all the phone numbers are out of service once they get the money there is no way to contact them.
80% of deliveries are problematic
80% of deliveries are problematic
DHL censors honest reviews instead of delievering paid services to customers
It is unreal to reach customer support, guarded by AI bots, written questions are automatifally dumped by clichee messages without any personalization, never resolving any problem.
Clear example of corporation leaded by unethical CEOs and army of corrupt lawyers

Very bad service
Very bad service, no customer care. Selfish and useless service, wasting customer time. I have very bad experience with this DHL.
High value parcel delivered perfectly
The driver who delivered my parcel was amazing and hid the parcel just as described and even better. I ordered an iphone 17 pro max with dhl and the driver hid it just in the right place my brother wasnt even able to find it at first but then he did and told me i got it. Amazing work i would love to know who it was to thank them in person too i would've lost a ton of money had he not hidden the parcel.
