Had an import from the UK and I was aware that there would be duty and other charges. The total invoice value was £238 included vat and DHL shipping. DHL wanted to charge 184 Euros for duty and their charges but refused to provide an invoice? DHL send all emails through a DONOTREPLY email address to frustrate the customer too. Terrible company avoid at all costs.

DHL is easily the worst logistics company on Mallorca. Once again, despite the exact address indicated on the parcel and the sender having given to DHL our (Spanish) phone number, DHL pretends it could not find our address and simply waits for the customer to pick up the parcel, before sending it back without giving notice. Great cost cutting measure? I call it terrible customer service.

Very fast delivery from Spain to Finland and visceversa. In just one day.

it is the worst shipping company in Spain. every time something is to be delivered by DHL it is either delayed (in the best case) or not delivered at all/returned. in the tracking there will be always something like "Delivery could not be made: recipient absent", but in fact looks like they just do not bother coming to the address.

I had to be delivered 2 packages this week. In both cases they didn't even bother to deliver it to my address, they directly left them in the store.

We waited at home all day for our delivery. They claimed that they attempted to deliver and were unable. So, they left it at a pickup location.

They did NOT attempt to deliver. They did not ring the doorbell nor call. Now, we have to walk for an hour to pickup the package. Unfortunately, the location is closed.

DHL & this employee are AMATEUR HOUR!

I had an absolutely terrible experience with DHL Spain. My parcel never arrived, and for 13 days, they lied to me and hid the truth!
After multiple failed attempts to get a proper answer from customer service, I had to escalate the issue to the director of customer service. Only then did they start an investigation, and guess what? They "suddenly" found my package sitting in some depot—completely broken!
Instead of being honest from the start, they wasted my time with excuses, false information, and zero accountability. If they had just admitted the issue earlier, at least I wouldn't have spent nearly two weeks chasing them for answers.
This is by far the worst courier experience I've ever had. If you value your time, money, and sanity, avoid DHL Spain at all costs!

1star because zero stars not an option. I waited at home all day Tuesday 25/3 for my delivery. At 15.10 in the afternoon a white van appeared with the driver wearing the distinctive dhl coloured shirt. After delivering a package to La Luz residential home at the end of my street he then rummaged around in his van, closed the door and drove off. I received an email some hours later saying that delivery had failed at 15.15. Really? No attempt was made, that's why delivery failed.

Now apparently its at a pick up point which I have no intention of using.

Parcel sent 2 weeks ago shows on tracking 'will deliver 15 March 2025. Since then nothing. Silence from DHL. I have an angry client wanting answers. They take your money, then zero service.

This company tells lies !! Do not use them! I was waiting for a parcel from Amazon and when it failed to arrive on the due date I got tracking to say the item had been "rescheduled due to customer instructions"! I did no such thing, they just couldn't be bothered to get it delivered to me in Periana on Costa Del Sol, a small village 30 minutes inland. They also say they attempted delivery but no one was in when we were in all day waiting for the parcel ! DHL are lying to their customers, does Amazon know that ?

You can pay as much as you want, there is no such thing as express delivery.
I find this service stressful and unreliable, specially in South Spain.

They completely lost the first parcel from Germany. The second parcel seems to have got lost in between & returned to Germany! They had both my address AND the DHL drop address in my suburb but they failed to deliver to either. They didn´t reply to any of my attempts to track it. Use UPS or anyone else, DHL are exceptionally incompetent.

I live in Spain and I need to send my passport to the UK. I paid extra to send my passport with DHL. It was sent on 4th March and I was led to believe that it shoud arrive at the UK passport office by 6th March, no later an the 7th. In fact it took 2 days to leave Gandia and reach Valencia. I tracked it on the website and thought it would leave Valencia and head straight for the UK. Nope it went to Barcelona. So, that was day 3, when I checked it today which is day 5, to my surprise it is now in Germany! This company is very incompetent! I sent my passport using their trusted service and paid more for a terrible service.

Lo enviaron el 4 de marzo y me hicieron creer que llegaría a la oficina de pasaportes del Reino Unido el 6 de marzo, a más tardar el 7. De hecho, tardó dos días en salir de Gandía y llegar a Valencia. De hecho, tardó 2 días en salir de Gandía y llegar a Valencia. Parcel left Alicante at 09:56 for delivery so waited in all day. Status updated at 18:00 to say I was not in (and the delivery vehicle was certainly not outside our gate at that time). And at 18:03 the parcel delivered to a DHL Service location about 10 minutes drive away. Must have traveled at about 80 km/h through Denia to achieve that. 20 years ago DHL was my preferred logistics company in Europe but not anymore.

This service is joke! DHL doesn't exist anymore, the company just kept their "brand", however it uses multiple carriers to deliver packages and they are not in charge of the service anymore.

I sent an important document through them because of their "1-2 days delivery", but after more than 1 week the document still hasn't arrived. Delivery estimated date is almost 2 weeks, as per the last update.

The charge is an unbelievable HIGH PRICE - 152 euro for the custom clearance support, and they did nothing for this money! The feed for custom clearance is bigger than the custom fee itself - WTF??? NEVER USE IT AGAIN!

I wish there was a zero - always a disappointment. Every time I receive an email saying “We tried to deliver your package at bla. bla time but no one was home..” and of course both me and my wife was home all day. Whatever - just so something else since delivering packages is not your thing..

So, from now on I’m not going to order online from ANY vendor whatsoever that using DHL as their shipping solution.

The courier for this area refuses to deliver, on occasion I've managed to get them to stop nearby and I've had to leave the complex and collect from the side of the road but the majority of times he does things like he did this last time.

I work from home so I am ALWAYS home between 6am and 7pm, if they had attended the property or even just used the complex intercom I would have known.

Instead on this occasion I check my tracking and find he left the package nearly 7km away claiming I was not home and this was the closest collection point. Theres a collection point not 10 minute walk from me in my same village, instead of 3 villages away.

When making a complaint or contacting the shipment management via DHL online forms, they go without any response other than the automated acknowledgement email.

There is no useful purpose to this company, to any retailer please stop using them. They do not do the job you pay them for and they make your retail company look bad and annoy YOUR customers.

Worst delivery service in europe.

Had no trouble with anyone but DHL. One package was lost, seems like another one too. Can get no info for a long time already, delivery says "address wasn't found", ridiculous. 2 problems of 3 deliveries with dhl
