Dead plants
I purchased two plants for £14.00 each. One is fine but the other one dies within 2 days.
Zero help from the store manager or B&Q in general.
I will not be going there again, clearly cheap rubbish plants being sold at a premium.
Failed delivery with no explanation
I bought some fence panels online and they were due to be delivered today. I received a text message yesterday giving me a two hour time slot of 9.30 to 11.30am. At 11.00am this morning I received another text message saying that the order could not be delivered today, without any explanation, and that someone would be in touch shortly to reschedule. It is now approaching the end of the working day and I am still waiting to hear from someone as to why they could not be delivered and when they are going to be delivered.
I phoned customer support and was told that the order had been passed to the Luton branch for delivery purposes. He did try and call the branch, but was not able to contact anyone there and would raise a “ticket”, and that someone would email me, but could not tell me when.
This is very unsatisfactory, given I had waited in especially to take delivery.
No quality control, damaged products, shoddy service.

I purchased a garden Rake from B&Q. The product turned up filthy and damaged. The thing is there's no packaging on a rake so this means the team in the warehouse picked the item knowing it was in this condition and the delivery driver delivered it knowing it was damaged and dirty.
I left an honest review about this on B&Qs internal review page but they suppressed the review because it made them and the product look bad.
They did not attempt to address the issue with me at all.
So here I am posting it on Trust Pilot instead.

Scammers, sell faulty products through third parties sellers, refuse refund them when send a refund request to the sellers request less than you paid for item: total scammers with no support:
Scratched product
Delivery was quicker than anticipated which is good, and the product is exactly what we wanted, but it has a few scratches. We're having a baby any day now so can't be bothered to return and wait for a replacement product but a bit disappointing.

Looked at lots of sites to get the quickest delivery or pick up of a garden blower and vacuum, nowhere had pick up so went with next day delivery with B&Q and today (Friday) had an email to say it’s delayed with Evri customer service is trying to blame the 3rd party seller for not sending it out in time but they did, now they are telling me it will be delivered on Monday no apologies at all from b&q that this is delayed it’s a case of it will turn up eventually and I will just need to wait, I could have got this elsewhere cheaper if I wanted to wait a couple of days or a few in this case, shocking service all round

What lovely and helpful people they are.
Nothing was too much trouble and they were polite and had a great sense of humour.
I hate shopping, however their attitudes made this visit very special.

Terrible delivery experience
I ordered 10 items to be delivered. 3 came randomly via fed ex, evri and the post office. There was no reference to the items being delivered so I had no idea of what to expect. The actual B&Q delivery by Evri was a comple farce. Of the 7 items being delivered 4 packages were not on the van. Included in my order was 3 210l green water butts, the guy delivered 1 black one. When I challenged him on the shortfalls and errors he just said contact B&Q - I called them straight away received no satisfaction as they could not contact the store. I have since completed their contact form and am still awaiting some kind of resolution which looks like its going to take days if not weeks to resolve, although they have had my money for a week already.

Went and bought some supplies and yhen toddled off down to the tills to pay...only now in Plymouth they all seem to be self service. Takes way longer to que up and even worse when something goes wrong with the credit card terminal. If this is progress then I'm taking my business to a smaller shop where they are happy to serve you the old fashioned way. Not a good move B&Q

I got a random email asking me for a review so here it is. What its for I'm not sure but what ever it was was fantastic.
I actually don't think I have purchased anything from B&Q and not be pleased.
Actually a while back I rejected a door as it arrived without the fixings and after some discussions with a lady that called she agreed the picture on the web was misleading and sent me the door again with a free set of fittings.
