I will be doing a full blog on my horrible experience. Agencies like these must be stopped because they bully tenants. There should be a platform which warns homeowners to not use certain estate agents.

Probably the worst letting agent I have ever rented from!
Judging by the other positive reviews this company is only interested in selling properties and clearly does not care for those of us renting. When we moved into the property 18months ago we reported a few issues such as poor cleanliness when moving in, a few broken things, shelves falling apart ect......18 months later despite reporting these issues they were ignored. If you email anyone from the company it is ignored. Even better was when I tried to get our deposit back after leaving the property and after several emails to the entire dockleys team I was told because there was no manager they would get back to me. They never did. Only when I threatened to report the company did I receive it back, what kind of s**t company holds tenants deposits?
Not once did they address any of the issues we raised whilst living in the property, even better when they increased the rent I had to remind them to issue a new contract (which had the wrong amount of rent on it first time).
Do yourself a favour and NEVER rent from this company.

Adam helped me sell my apartment in London City Island.
The timing could not have been worse with completion times at an all time high, and lots of stressful background with solicitors. Adam went above and beyond personally visiting the apartment to check and measure things when I couldnt, and was available literally all hours and even weekends. I was very impressed and can’t recommend Dockleys high enough
Terrible Rental Experience
Moved into the property June 2022, within a month or 2 I’d placed maintenance requests; which still haven’t been acknowledged.
It took them 6 months to notify communal gas/heating that I had moved in and kept blaming a third party they used to do this (tried many of times to do it myself unsuccessfully) - wasn’t nice getting 6 months worth of bills together after Christmas!
My flat was shown to an investor whilst I was away for a couple of weeks - my balcony door left open and rain entered the property. A lot of blaming other people for this and no real action - or a sorry to the security risk they posed for weeks!
At times took weeks to get a response from Emma (property manager) as she was “away” but it never appears had anyone to look after her properties during these very frequent times.
Rent and acknowledgment receipts took up to a month to be acknowledged after chasing multiple times as the accounts team “don’t work daily”.
My blinds fell off the wall (floor to ceiling windows in a studio that overlooks a communal area) - I called the evening it happened and was told it wasn’t an emergency and to have it fixed myself. This came back on me as the landlord “wasn’t happy” I had done this.
They again fell; roller blinds in plaster board - kept coming out. Surprise, this again was not acknowledged for some time. When the blinds were “fixed” they fell again that same day. I contacted Emma immediately and was told they don’t know how this was happening - as a video was taken! I looked at the video, it wasn’t the broken blind!
Weeks passed, still a broken blind. No privacy, light by 5am and not a care in the world by Dockleys!
Adam (the director) messaged me just before my move out to show the flat. I checked in with he first told me he hadn’t requested this, but once I showed him the screenshot of our conversation, quickly responded that viewing didn’t go ahead - very strange!
Final gas bill came and I was informed this had to be paid before my deposit was realised. It was fine immediately and proof sent. Deposit was relaxed 11 days later, 5 minutes before the 14th day was up.
An absolute horrible experience renting from Dockleys - all I can say is it was a blessing that the landlord was unwilling to negotiate on a rental increase as I’d still be stuck in a flat managed by this company!
Highly recommend using Dockleys
Having just recently sold a property through Dockleys I would highly recommend them. We had great service, Adam was always on hand to deal with any issues or queries and Dockleys worked incredibly hard to ensure our sale went through as smoothly as possible.
A great agency
This was the first time we bought a property in the UK. Adam was an estate agent from seller's side.
The whole process took about four month, but could've taken much longer without Adam's help.
He was really helpful at every stage of the process, always ready to answer the questions and provide information. At one of the late stages the seller wanted to pull off, but thanks to Adam's efforts we managed to complete the deal.
I can definitely can recommend this estate agency.
Organised, efficient and transparent
Organised, efficient and transparent. My wife and I rented a property via Dockleys having moved to London from Europe during the pandemic at the start of 2021. The whole process was well organised and done entirely remotely. During our tenancy we had no issues and upon ending tenancy we agreed to have end of tenancy cleaning managed by the agency. We received our deposit minus cleaning fees all within 2 weeks of checking out.

Avoid renting through Dockleys
As a tenant, I would avoid renting through this company at all costs.
Totally unresponsive staff, who you can literally chase for months about an issue and they will still ignore you. You call and they claim they’re not there.
I was so disappointed by Dockleys and would never rent through them again.

My purchase involved in a long chained transactions, as such, numerous delays had caused due to unforeseen reasons, however, he managed to deal with them all professionally and helped a lot in getting through the developer.
