Dogs trust called me after 48 hours post adoption to ask how everything has been. The call was really nice and straight forward and they offered lots of support for any issues we were having

The staff at Dogs Trust Kenilworth rehoming centre were all next level. Everyone we spoke to with our experience adopting were very kind and helpful, it is easy to see how passionate about dogs they all are. We had a couple of setbacks with red weather warning for heat meaning we couldn't bring our dog home when planned and then when she needed an operation, but the staff were happy to help and kept us well informed about what the next stages were. We can't praise or recommend them enough, thank you guys and girls.

Everyone at the dog trust at Basildon are so caring about the animals, I met Cyndi and I just knew she was for me, as I was walking round looking at the dogs I stopped and spoke to her as she sat at the glass window as I walked away she put her paw on the glass, that was it she had my heart and now she’s home ,

Love Dogs trust. We adopted our 2nd dog and once again they took the time and care to match us with the right dog. This time it was a puppy after losing our last dog. The aftercare and support is great and there were lots of benefits to adopting from Dogs trust such as neutering voucher and the freebies on collecting your dog to give them the best start. We always support dogs trust and can also donate to the charity shops online to raise much needed funds!

Excellent adoption process, outstanding support, and genuine care
I recently adopted two greyhounds from Dogs Trust, and the entire experience has been exceptional from start to finish. The staff were knowledgeable, organised, and clearly passionate about matching dogs with the right homes. Every step of the process felt thoughtful and well‑managed, and I always felt confident that the team had the dogs’ best interests at heart.
What impressed me most was the level of support after bringing my dogs home. Dogs Trust didn’t just hand them over — they made sure I understood their routines, their personalities, and what to expect during the first few days. They checked in, offered guidance, and made it clear that I could reach out if I needed help. That kind of follow‑up makes a huge difference, especially when adopting two dogs at once.
Both of my greyhounds are settling beautifully. The advice I received about feeding, routines, and early behaviour has been spot‑on, and it helped me handle those first nights with confidence. You can tell the staff genuinely care about the dogs and want them to succeed in their new homes.
I’m extremely grateful for the work Dogs Trust does. Their professionalism, kindness, and ongoing support made the adoption experience smooth and reassuring. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering adopting a dog.

This has been one of the most rewarding experiences we’ve ever had. It was love at first sight with Yuki and the support from Dogs Trust has been exceptional. We already had a Labrador so making sure both dogs were equally happy was at the very heart of all discussions and visits. Every member of staff has been so supportive but Claire at the Leeds rehoming centre was simply wonderful. It feels like we’ve helped three dogs, by this single adoption - Yuki is already settling into her loving forever home, our Labrador Bailey now has a wonderful little companion and they’re already acting as if they’ve been together for ages! plus a third dog now gets to benefit from the amazing expertise of the Dogs Trust family. The work you do is incredible and thank you!

Our experience with adopting Albie from Bridgend was wonderful, everyone was so helpful from the call we had from Julie on the Monday and then arranging to come down from York the following week to see Albie and pick him up the next day. Then the following up call on the Saturday to see if he had settled in. Which he seems to, you would think he has been here for ever. I don’t think that you could improve on anything that you are all ready doing. Staff are very professional and knowledgeable.

I cannot recommend the Dogs Trust enough. From the very start, the Team at the Dogs Trust were fantastic. I need to say a big thank you to the first lady I spoke to when I first rang up she was so helpful and supportive. Everyone was so caring and welcoming, at the Centre putting both us and the dogs at ease. The service was highly efficient, and the staff were extremely helpful with the introductions, ensuring we all had the information we needed. The entire process was so straightforward. I'd highly recommend them.
Thank you all for making it such a wonderful experience.

Staff were brilliant, and concerned to make sure my preference was right for me and my circumstances. I particularly appreciated the discussions with Lindsey the behaviourist.

The experience this time was totally different to when we tried to adopt 4 months ago. This time all the staff were very friendly & helpful. When they were interacting with the dogs it was clear to see the happy reactions of the dogs. The staff have great knowledge about each individual dog and they do a brilliant job of caring for the dogs many of whom have arrived at the kennels due to unhappy circumstances.

When we arrived at Dogs Trust in Salisbury we spoke to Lorna first on the desk. She was very friendly and informative and could tell us everything about the two dogs we were interested in. She was so smiley and warm and she took us right through the adoption process. Nothing was too much trouble for her. We also spoke to Kat who introduced us to Sully. She was absolutely lovely, with lots of patience and advice. I found that everyone we spoke to was kind and patient and really wanted to support us. The handover was very thorough and every single silly question I had was answered ! The staff explained how they could help us going forward and I really feel like we have a support network in place. We have brought Sully home now and everything has changed. I can't imagine life without him. I would recommend Dogs Trust for the care and patience they show and how they gently guide and support you though the adoption stages. You can see that they care so much for the dogs and want them to go to a safe and loving home.

On picking up max i felt as if there was a full support team ready to help and advice me on any problems that may occur. but also the staff in the glasgow centre made it a very enjoyable experience also made me personally feel that me and max's wellbeing going forward was the most important thing I will end by saying 5 stars is not enough 10 stars would be more deserved
