I ordered 10 aurora mpro lights from downlights.co.uk. I registered the lights with aurora for a 5 year guarantee. Today i called downlights to try and get 1 light replaced as it was constantly flashing. Was told by loui that he would send out a new light. I asked if he wanted the old light back but was told no they dont want it back. I i got a text message an hour later saying my light would be here tomorrow.

Never have i recieved such great service and with such speed all without ever checking to see whether i was lying about the light (which im not). Absolutely amazed and soon will be ordering more lights as i have a bathroom renovation and an extra bathroom being built. The staff and company deserve more credit than they get.

Delivered as promised. Ordered on line as website gave helpful guidance details when choosing the right downlights for our soffits; and were at a good price. Received a confirmation email of the order on the day of the order; with an email the next day to confirm the items had been despatched; and an email the next day to confirm timeslot of the delivery. Items arrived as promised within 2 days of order.
Have just fitted the downlights; they seemed well made and of good quality, and look great in the new soffits!

I ordered several downlights and spot clips. Received a call that morning to suggest an alternative as the two were not compatible.

Correction made, refund applied and delivered quickly in perfect condition.

Very efficient service, my lights arrived quickly.
When my installer fitted the lights,one of them did not work, however my wife phoned the Company and they supplied a replacement the very next day!

I ordered 3 downlights, bulbs and a varilight switch but needed to find out some info first. Had a really good phone call with a very friendly and informative member of staff then ordered. Arrived on time, well packed with good email communication about delivery times. Ordered 11/5/18 but only recently fitted and I am very pleased with them.

Order delivered as promised, unfortunately one item was not in box, phoned and spoke to man in dispatch, not very polite towards me, after convincing him I could actually count how many items I had he said he would post out the item in a very grumpy manner, then put phone down on me! Rude to say the least, as a business owner I would be having words with any member of staff that treated customers like this, won't be using again because of this man, he has lost you lots of business!

I ordered the wrong thing. It was my fault. Helpful staff helped me find a replacement. Turns out there wasn't anything so they refunded me. Great customer service from Callum.

Good selection of lights and accompanying bulbs on the easy to use website and great prices. Once ordered, delivery was speedy and I have been very pleased with the quality of the lights, especially considering the aforementioned low price. They are now fitted and the improvement to the lighting in my kitchen has exceeded my expectations.

Watch out, don't give them your mobile number, they will use it to text you with marketing spam. While email is great for staying informed - one can always 'unsubscribe' - I consider the texting of marketing material to one's mobile phone number to be an unacceptable intrusion into a space reserved for friends and important communications. Sure, use it to advise us a parcel has been dispatched and when it's expected, but stop there.

Good quality items exactly the same as my local wholesaler but about 15% cheaper, even after shipping costs.

The Service
So, there was a minor error when the goods were delivered.
I ordered brushed nickel finish but Downlights.co.uk incorrectly sent polished chrome items.
This was an error on their part which they quickly agreed.
Any company can make an error. The difference between a good company and a great company is how they correct that error.
Because my electrician intended installing the fittings on Sunday, Downlights.co.uk, corrected the error by shipping the replacements for Saturday delivery, at their cost. This will have wiped out any profit on the light fittings, especially when they have also paid the return shipping costs too but what they have lost on one order they will make on others from me because I shall certainly use them again.
I am a very happy customer who will will certainly be ordering again.

ordered downlighters from this company on august bank holiday monday. wanted next day delivery so payed extra but being a bank holiday expected it to arrive wednesday, no such luck, i had to email them on the thursday to remind them of the order.with one or two excuses it was sent to me on friday, useless as i my electrician needed them on thursday ,i have to get him back now to finish job costing me extra time and money.and for this trouble i have not received an apology or a refund on the extra i paid for next day delivery.will never use again

The correct products were supplied and delivered on time.
