Dreams - Mansfield Reviews 

On entering the store we were greeted but not pounced on. We were left to browse the store. When we needed help the same lady who greeted us was close by and offered to use the sleep machine to find out which mattress would be the best for us. She then shown us the mattresses which would be best for us. Then left us to try them out without hovering over us. She then processed our order quickly. We were offered drinks while we were looking around. The lady was brilliant from start to finish and we couldn't recommend her more. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name.

The girls in the Dreams store Mansfield were very helpful and friendly they gave us plenty of time to try the products, no pressure selling at all. They gave us all the facts, we went away to think about the costs involved then called the branch a couple of days later to place the order. It was a very good shopping experience. Thank You.

We are delighted with our new bed.It is certainly the best bed we have had in 70 years.Love everything about it including the spacious drawers and the headboard we bought to match

Great experience lovely staff even stopped late after the store had closed to allow us time to decide exactly what we wanted.

Great customer service from Amy in the Mansfield shop, she was so helpful and knew exactly how to help us find a bed we both loved rather than bicker with each other haha. The delivery team were also very nice when they came and were considerate as my partner was on nights while still being very helpful.

Amazing experience from start to finish. The sales team were so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. The delivery team were so respectful of our house taking great care of delivery. The bed and bedsides we ordered are so luxurious, completely transformed the room. The mattress gave me such a great nights sleep.

From browsing in Dreams store (in Mansfield) where we had help from Louise, to buying the bed a couple of days later (Louise again was so helpful) to the delivery experience, everything was 5 star. The bed (A Francis single) was easy to build and took my son and myself about an hour. The instructions were clear and accurate and the surprise in the pack was that no extra tools were needed, as an allen key and spanner were provided. I confess to cheating a bit and using an allen key bit in an electric screwdriver which helped, but if I ruled the world I would scrap the spanner and provide a square end screwdriver and socket because it would fit the nuts better and probably only add a pound to the price. There should also be a warning not to overtighten the dome nuts on the lifting handle as well, it is easy to damage these nuts, although it doesn't show. All in all, a great ex[perience and excellent value for money.

We'd gone for a mattress, came out with a mattress, 6 pillows, a mattress protector and a sofa bed we didn't need.

The hospitality was really good and the customer service was incredible. Chris at the Mansfield branch was very knowledgeable and really made buying an expensive mattress less excruciating.

Have taken recent delivery on a Dreams newly released ottoman king size bed with built in cupboards etc.

One of the drawers dont work and the whole frame is either twisted or poorly manufactured causing a continuous clunking noise on entry.
Had the repair team out to advise same.

Now not 100% sure it's up for the job or designed to last.

Really dissatisfied and disappointed awaiting a conclusion.
Not what youd expect from a large company with supposably a good name but really poor quality assurance.

Lovely mattress which was on discount at the time of purchase. Bought it for my double beg, it's wasn't the most expensive one, but it was one of the tradition spring ones. Happy with the order as mattress has improved the quality of the sleep. Delivery was quick and efficient. Also, nicely packaged to minimise the damaged during transportation. Have this mattress now for 1 month plus and can't find any faults with it.

Horrific. Absolutely horrific!

In all the 20+years I have bought flat-pack furniture I have never - EVER - had such an absolutely appalling experience as with Dreams beds!!

I have to say that I bought this bed by mistake. walking through a nearby retail park I'd meant to go to Benson's Beds but walked into dreams getting my outlets mixed up.

The bed looked ok, bought it, delivery date was quite good at 3 weeks.

When it arrived, I got a call a good half hour earlier than my notified delivery slot saying they were outside my house. Not the worst as I am mobile in my current job and just happened to be about about 5-10 minutes away.

Delivery was ok, not the best but quick.

the real problems were with assembly and especially quality (or the lack of!!).

Dreams is an environmental nightmare!! SO much packaging it is just dreadful!! I have several fortnights' worth of rubbish to get rid of. So much damn polystyrene included, totally environmentally unfriendly they should be singled-out for special treatment by Gollum Thunberg and her environmental trolls.

Assembly.... Wow. What to say, or not to say if we are trying to stay clean....!!

The. WORST. Self. Assembly. EVER!!! Literally and seriously.

Cheap, tacky aluminium screws, bolts and so on, where the screw heads strip at the slightest pressure.

Awful use of cheap plastic screw housings which also strip easily.

Quality is third world. Cheap laminate where, following the instructions for inserting dowels, when you push a baseboard into the headboard - THE DOWEL PUSHES THROUGH THE LAMINATE!

The whole construction is so cheap, so unstable, the whole bed almost collapsed or shredded screw joints whenever I moved it. Basically, moving it means the whole structure twists left, right, and risks screws stripping out of the supporting planks. Awful, seriously, seriously awful.

Even with the footboard and headboard attached, it is still as stable as a psychopath.

Attaching the ottoman folding mechanism was a particular horror story. The metal support struts on either side were twisted.

After finally getting the base board in place on one side and putting the bolts in - THE OTHER SIDE WAS MAJORLY TWISTED OUT OF PLACE!

I couldn't any way get al bolts to fit. I managed - after massive problems - to get 9 out of 10 in place. The last one just wouldn't fit and. even with everything else in place, the ottoman motion is scraping due to an instability / twisting in the bed frame.

I would be committing a major fraud if I said a thing that was positive about Dreams.

If you want THE cheapest, tackiest, crap which is designed to be impossible to build unless you get Dreams' to assemble it for you (for a cost) and claim it has gone together perfectly (most likely a lie) then shop here.

If you want to get value, value for money, quality for what you pay, then seriously - GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!

Dreams = a Total Nightmare.

I would highly recommend using Dreams for your next new bed. An excellent service from start to finish. All staff were extremely friendly and very helpful. The quality of our new a super king bed is outstanding. We had the bed assembled by two guys who were so friendly and really took care while moving a huge bed up three floors. Would highly recommend the Mansfield Branch.

Love our new Ellis 2.0 bed. It’s bigger then we realised but still. The service in the Mansfield branch was great. The two delivery guys (main guy was Kas) were genuinely lovely and nothing was to much of a problem, they had my new bed up within half an hour, the paperwork said it would take around 2 hours to assemble! Keep hold of these guys Dreams, not all delivery guys are like these.

The shop experience was great. Delivery guys, not so much. The bed itself is very sturdy and comfortable.

I went to find out what type of mattress I would need as I have had back problems. I used the sleep machine to work out which type I would need. After having advice and guidance from a lovely team member called Chris I purchased a firm mattress that felt comfortable ex display for £275 over half price with a free gift of 4 pillows worth £70. The staff were lovely and gave me a free bottle of water
