3rd E-Bike now from Easy Motion; 2011, 2016 and 2026! The last bike lasted 10 years and they still took a trade in for it in 2026. Friendly crew, operate the Cycle-2-work scheme. Give them a call for an affordable E-Bike.

Bad Repair Experience- AVOID

In summary, dropped EP2 pro bike off on 19 December 2025 for repairs to display and saddle pole. I ended up taking the bike back on 18 March 2026, THREE MONTHS later, without all repairs being done, but was still charged €93 for a part (€35) and fitting (€78) relating to saddle pole, which I had thought only required a plastic insert which I understand costs 50c.

On 3 April 2026, I took the bike to an outlet on East Wall Road, who carried out the required repairs in ONE HOUR while I waited in car and for a very reasonable price. I’m still kicking myself for not finding this outlet first.

Further info- Dropped bike off on 19 December 2025, after being made wait over 30 minutes for guy from Easy Motion to arrive. Had I known what was to follow, I would not have hung around.

Heard nothing from Easy Motion during the time they had the bike unless I followed up with them. I contacted them on 3 February 2026 and was advised the parts had been ordered. I had thought that as Easy Motion is an authorised repairer (it is listed as such on the main Engwe Bikes website) that sourcing parts would not be an issue. I was wrong.

In the course of telephone conversations, I was advised that delay was due to wrong parts being sent and the Chinese New Year.

After 3 months waiting, I stated I wanted to retrieve the bike and arranged to collect it on 18 March 2026. Two days before this, Easy Motion advised that the part had now arrived, just as I expected after telling them I wanted the bike back.

At this stage I still wanted the bike back and collected it on 18 March.

Overall a frustrating experience and not the quality of service I would expect from an authorised repairer.

If I could, I would give 0 stars.AVOID.

Hi folks promised you an update…

Hi folks promised you an update regarding my bike repair with this SO called bike repair business , well after waiting 2 months I finally got my bike back ! And was it repaired ? No ! This so called bike engineer could not fix the problem which I had explained to him when the bike was dropped off with him ,that the cassette gear wheel was the issue, this guy claimed that he was unable to remove said cassette wheel as it was jammed and further claimed that he broke his tools trying to do so??? Pretty poor tools ! And only after complaining after two months waiting he explained this and said that he would have to replace the rear wheel and hub at the cost of 1000€ and it would take another month to complete ..? What a joke ! Crashed cars are repaired in a couple of weeks not months?
I of course said No way ! As I could buy a brand new bike for that price which I have done on amazon !
When the bike was collected this guy had the cheek to charge 160€ for replacing the rear wheel tire ?
I think you all may agree this is a surprisingly high charge to replace a tire and tude is about 15 minutes work ! So unless you have very deep pockets and plenty of time to wait I suggest that you find another bike repair business as this is a joke another rip off merchant taking advantage of people who trust these guys to do their jobs with honesty and reliability.
I could go on and on about my disappointment and disgust at the incompetence and the sheer disrespect shown to customer service .
I will thank you if you read my review it maybe bluntly honest but the truth always is.

Unfortunately, due to your long negligence in maintenance culture, it was rusted, severely jammed and could not be removed without risking further damage to the motor.
We provided a detailed explanation of the options available to you and to the person that brought in your bike. The charge reflected the cost of the replacement parts and labour carried out.
While we regret that you remain dissatisfied, however, we want to emphasize that our goal has always been to find the best and safest solution for your bike. We appreciate your feedback and will continue to use it to improve our services.

The staff were excellant to deal with…

The staff were excellant to deal with answered all questions kept in constant contact with me on the delivery of my bike when it would be ready and no delays everything was as they said it would be i would highly recommend purchasing a bike from here

Ordering online from easymotion

Ordered the bits for the bike online and they arrived quickly as always. I was very happy because other businesses often use Christmas as an excuse for delays. They also phoned to check arrival had happened!

Very good service on my end

I don't usually leave reviews until a while later, as I want to make sure I can take quality control and customer aftercare into account, if something goes wrong, when giving a review. In my case, I am writing this review many weeks later, with everything gone smoothly and no aftercare required.

Iben (who answered the phone and took my e-bike for repair) was fantastic. He was prompt and very courteous during the whole process.

my e-bike was rather old for e-bike standards, so they needed to order a part to make my engine sensor work again. As this meant the bike had to be there a while longer (no fault of their own), Iben was kind to keep me updated on the bike, how it was doing, and gave me a rough estimate of when it would be ready (which was very accurate).

He was great in picking up the bike (I don't drive and live on the opposite end of the city, they offer a courier service), and bringing it back, and the bike still works great a month later.

I got the sense that they really cared about customer service, and they stuck with the bike until it was going again.

Would happily work again with them!

Friendly and helpful staff

Friendly and helpful guys to deal with. Rented an e-bike recently and my wife cycled 100km+ on Royal Canal Greenway. They gave good advice to rent an extra battery which we needed. Competitive price. Overall very good.

Told Motor needed repacement (€600). It didn't!!

So, bought lovely ebike here. However, after approx. 1.5 years, it stopped working. Brought back to shop, was told that they had checked and motor was gone. But they had one in stock and could fit for total cost of €600. As this was so much money, I declined but was still charged for 'investigation'. Finally got motivation to open up. Nothing wrong with motor. Bearing out of place. Easily resolved myself at zero cost!!! Not €600!!!! Been working fine since.
