Best Romanian online shopping website

I don't understand why people wrote bad reviews, but I can only speak from my experience with eMAG.
When I want to buy stuff for myself, mostly electronics, I always use eMAG when I'm shopping online for something I can't find in stores or I simply prefer buying the specific product/products online, because the products arrive new and not damaged at all. I think I had just one bad experience with them, when I received something else, but it wasn't that relevant to me anyway, but since I wanted to be honest with the people here, I wanted to place it in this review. You can also return the item and they may give you the item you wanted to actually buy.
My problem with eMAG is their collaboration with Flip.ro, a garbage website that scams people (I wrote about this in a different review).
But what's the best part about eMAG is the fact that the products arrive new, not damaged and the delivery service they collaborate with, Sameday, is very fast and mostly arrives the next day. I had most of the products I ordered from them arriving the next day!
By far the best Romanian shopping website!

They protect sellers who sell fake…

They protect sellers who sell fake goods by censoring the negative reviews so other people fall in the same trap. I've had several orders that did not deliver the same product listed but a worse, cheaper one and when I stated that I did not receive what I ordered, they block the reviews. Once they blocked my review for the product for months (different reasons, reedited several times with the same result), while blocking me completely from reviewing the seller itself. I bought from him because of the high rating, but it turns out that it's high because no low review ever gets published.

Terrible

Terrible. Lack of communication. No way of reaching out to the company. No email adress or phone number, literally nothing. Very disappointing for a big company like emag. I'll never order anything from them.

Deleting bad reviews

Recently they've been taking out average or bad reviews, even if the review was previously posted there for a while. Happened to 2 reviews for me. Their reasoning is that if the review is bad, that means it's a complaint, so it's not obeing to their reviews policy. Also if you have anything bad to say about the experience of buying from them... Very transparent, aha...

Emag Romania Late cancelation and bad online customer service

I have ordered a phone and accessories and paid for it. The accessories arrived in time however the phone order was canceled after more than 1 week after I paid and thought everything was ok with my order. I have been told I will receive the refund. I wanted to speak with an online advisor but I only got to speak with a robot which is extremely unhelpful and was transferred to a real customer assistant but I have waited over 30 min and nobody joined the chat. If the product is not in stock don't process the transaction and cancel after 1 week. Waste of my time, now I have to wait for the refund so I can buy another one. At least offer me the choice of picking another color or something if that color is not in stock or whatever the reason for this was

They manipulate the reviews and don’t accept the bad ones.
Ordered Philip shaving blades from eMag Market place and they are very low quality. I strongly doubt about the authenticity of the product. The QR code on the box that should prove the authenticity, doesn’t work at all.

I’ve been their customer since 2014 and placed 174 orders (yes, 174), but their practices with the reviews sustained probably by their current monopol on the market, are not acceptable.

No product no refund

Bought a mirror, then next day cancelled it. They shipped the item anyway after some days. I cancelled through delivery company. Now already for a month waiting for refund (they promise within 14 days). Wrote to support several times. The seller at first claimed that something is wrong with the product (like I broke it, while I didn’t even see or touch it, it never came) then lied that he already refunded the money. Which is not true!

Great website, good delivery, shady price practices

I've ordered many different things from eMAG over the years and things went smooth. What I like most about them is the way they organised their product database, with many different filters to chose from, especially when searching for tech stuff. Sameday, which I think is their own delivery service, depending on the region/city, sometimes works really well and fast, but sometimes it's annoying how long they take to deliver a pkg, even 8 days instead of just 2. I didn't have to return any products, and their showroom also has a well organised logistic. Of course there is room to make improvements, like with any other company. I'm giving them 4 stars because of their practice to increase prices a few months before Black Friday, and then gradually lowering them, until the price is very close to the one the product had all year, sometimes even more expensive, which is a BIG "NO NO" in my opinion.

They never accept low star or negative…

They never accept low star or negative reviews. Lately they didn't deliver as fast as should be to genius customers, in fact, they show a 1-2 days delivery on the product page but the delivery is with few days more.
Also you will fid a vast range of fake products on the store sold by some other company without any check by emag and when you point that they didn't accept your review.

I am extremely dissatisfied with the service I received from both your side and the courier company you work with. I was assured that the courier was informed of a specific delivery time – by 13:00, but this promise was not kept. Sameday's call center did not respond for more than an hour while I tried to find out the reason for the delay. It turned out that the courier was not informed of the set time at all, nor was he supposed to contact me, although your and their call center assured me that this had been done. Additionally, the delivery, which according to you should have been made within 1-2 days, was delivered to me after a full 7 days.

EMAG is rather a scum gang.

EMAG is rather a scum scamming gang.
They won’t even give you the opportunity to write a complaint or question email or phone number.
Everything is handled by poorly developed bots!
A prepaid product was returned to the retailer due to not noticing or not getting the shipment notification.
They never refunded the money.
Their shipper( same day) do everything in their power to find an excuse to not deliver the shipment.
I am not sure how they manage to exist as a company!?

NEVER eMAG NEVER SAMEDAY as long as they are working together

You may not avoid working with Sameday as long as you use eMAG on line shopping platform!!! At least in Romania.
I have to return a dishwasher in warranty to eMAG. They announced me Sameday will pick up the package one week ago, I received AWB last Tuesday, but the dishwasher is still at my door. And this is after I spent 5 times x 30 mins to contact the call centre of Sameday, talked with the operator and I was assured each time they will pick the package asp. Also one e-mail daily to eMAG.
I wonder who will compensate me for all the inconveniences created, including the period of non-use of an asset that I purchased in good faith!
Try to buy as rarely as possible with eMAG, while they collaborate with Sameday!
And Sameday, never use!

They don't give a s**t about other reviews, as we can see!!!

very bad

If you want to buy from them, you have to be mentally prepared to have the worst shopping experience! They don't have a call center and if you have any kind of issue with an order (like, for instance my latest thrill when I wasn't able to get my package from a locker which didn't actually open) and you email them, they will reply maybe in 2 weeks if you are lucky!

eMag allows only 1 voucher per…

eMag allows only 1 voucher per transaction. Their voucher cannot be redeemed at it's full amount via Tangocard, they only allow redemptions of 50lei or 100lei. I understand you need to drive more transactions to the site, but just make it right by your customers if you are offering this voucher service, do it right. Thanks
