I’ve been Excellent tool for keeping my life and work organizedusing Evernote for a while…
I’ve been using Evernote for a while now, and it has genuinely changed how I manage my daily tasks and projects. The search functionality is incredibly powerful—it even finds text inside PDFs and handwritten notes, which saves me so much time.
I love how seamless the syncing is across my phone and laptop, allowing me to capture ideas on the go. The recent updates have made the interface smoother and the app feels much faster. It’s the perfect digital notebook for anyone needing to declutter their mind and stay organized. Highly recommend!
Years ago I absolutely loved Evernote…
Years ago I absolutely loved Evernote now it stinks just not reliable, I need to stop being lazy and just move to another platform
Evernote is infinitely useful
Evernote is infinitely useful for storing and later finding an unlimited number of documents, snippets of information and photos. Instead of using yellow post its and stacking documents, I use Evernote as an ever present location for information I may need in the future. It's great for copies of my passport, plane tickets, concert tickets, etc. I still think its disappointing that it does not have a robust task manager, but it has so much usefulness I love it.
Constant annoying time wasteing updates.
I do like evernote and use it a lot, but for years I have been fed up and annoyed by all the constant updates. It seems every time I open it I have to wait for another update to install or be told a long story about what's different that I don't want to know, it was fine as it was years ago for the average person, please stop the updates!
Evernote shame on you!
Evernote, shame on you.
I registered for a trial, tested the app for one hour, decided it was not for me, and tried to close my account. Than one of the worst customer experiences I have ever encountered began.
The deletion process appears deliberately designed to exhaust users until they give up.
During deleting process you requested me to share my location before allowing me to continue deleting my account. This is a calculated dark pattern, designed to obstruct account deletion, manufacture consent, and extract additional personal data from users who are actively withdrawing it. Hiding these tactics behind a deliberately exhausting process does not make them legitimate. It makes them predatory. Regulators should investigate whether Evernote's deletion process violates consumer rights, privacy protections, and the fundamental legal requirement that withdrawing consent must be as easy as giving it.
After approximately ten clicks, warnings, obstacles, and unnecessary steps, I was finally informed that my deletion request had merely been submitted and that I would receive an email later.
Your comapny and brend should never be trusted again. I hope you will be run very soon by AI. Even a machine might understand the basic business manners your company has abandoned: respect the customer, respect consent, and allow people to leave.
A company that traps users on the way out has already admitted that it cannot persuade them to stay.
crappy poor
Used Evernote for years and years.
I have been using Evernote for years and years. I love how easy it is to make a notebook then also put my notes inside the notebook for easy referencing and also knowing that my notes are secure.
Its a cool app but it is super slow, support not great
Its a cool app but it is super slow, support is not great. Just increase their pricing in a bad way, if you have more than 1000 notes you need to upgrade for more than $200, unfair to people who rely on it.
Evernote is veryy good !
An invaluable tool for me
I have been using EVERNOTE for decades. It never lost a note for more than 40 years.
There have been occasional minor/insignificant glitches, but their support is good.
It's an invaluable tool for me.
Decent, not great
There used to be authentication problems, but Bending Spoons appears to have fixed that :)
I need Linux support, and they don't have that. If I switch to something else, that'll probably be why.
Other than that, it's good enough.
Keeps all my thoughts together in one place.
So efficient and organized.
Incremental Improvements vs high cost of Renewal.
Evernote continues to incrementally improve but is not there yet. The real kicker is the cost of the new subscription at $249.99 per year for the Advanced Plan, the new experience is not worth that!
brain extension :)
brain extension :)
I use Evernote to memorize many things, and revert to notes I took back in 2010
Love Evernote
I have been using Evernote for, I can't remember the number of years, but it is my go-to filing space for articles that are important to me!
Swiss army knife of notebook apps
Ease of use, accessible on multiple devices, and frequent updates.
Phenomenal Software, Hefty Price Change
Evernote is a phenomenal software. I've been using it for well over 15 years and I have so many important files and memories in here. I was used to the $60 per year plan and was extremely disappointed when the price shot up to well over $200. I was so upset and even cancelled for a while.
But then I did some digging.
Evernote, the company, was doing so poorly because they were charging so little. In fact, they were doing so bad, that they ended up being acquired by Bending Spoons, a company that's really great at building up struggling software companies.
It takes a lot of time, talent, and resources to build an exceptional app like Evernote. There TRULY isn't anything like it in the world. Not Notion. Not OneNote. Not Obsidian. Not UpNote. Evernote truly stands on its own as a note taking, memory saving, archival powerhouse.
Although I'm certainly not happy about the price change, I can't deny its impact on my personal and work life. There are many attempts at cloning out there in the world, and I've tested them all (trust me) NOTHING comes close.
The new owners of Evernote continue to…
The new owners of Evernote continue to ruin the experience. Can't use it without a bunch of nonsense popups like the one that asked me to leave this review.
Helps me keep all my thoughts organized.
