Didn’t turn up
Don’t answer the phone. Don’t respond to emails. Didn’t turn up. When we finally got through they said the courier was delayed. No update so they have ruined our last day of vacation. Had to take baggage to another storage facility. Utter waste of time and now have to wait for a refund. Don’t be fooled by the other reviews. Check out their other site tramsferbags and you’ll see….

Left my case at T5 on Saturday, collected it the following afternoon. The shop looked tidy and professional, and at drop off and collection the staff were efficient and very friendly. Would definitely recommend and use again. Great service!

Transfer of lost property responsibility from Luggage Point to Excess Baggage at Glasgow Airport ..
I left my handbag in Glasgow airport on 26/12/25 on a return journey to Belfast .It was confirmed as found on 19/1/26 and I arranged with Luggage Point for my daughter, who lives in Glasgow to pick it up on 31/3/26.I was to receive a bank transfer form when this had been done .
She was travelling from Glasgow to Portugal to meet me that day .
When she arrived at the airport she was advised Excess Baggage had taken over and the bag could not be located .She was given a website to contact .
We contacted Excess Baggage while on holiday but did not receive a reply.
I had hoped for some clarification regarding return of my property .
When she arrived back in Glasgow on 7/4/26 the bag was located very quickly and she was advised a manager (who wasn't in that day) would contact me if she left my phone number.-No one did .
I spent a lot of time trying to speak to someone at Glasgow airport by telephone and had to resort to a feedback form .
This prompted Glasgow Retail to liase with both 3rd parties and I was assured of a reply .
I waited 4 days and after contacting Retail again it transpired that Excess Baggage had responded to the wrong email address .
Why they did not have the correct email address is a mystery to me.
I was then sent an email by them to send on to Luggagepoint which I did .
The service provided by Luggage Point was no better and I have reviewed them separately .
I had also sent an email on 28/4/26 to Excess Baggage and Cc'd Glasgow airport asking that my grievances be taken as a complaint.
I did not get a response in writing from either only an assurance that Glasgow Retail and Luggage Point had been in touch.( from thank you @glasgowairport.com).
I gave up at that stage .
However, I would like to express my dissapointment that there seemed to be no clear policy as to what would happen to items already held by Luggage Point when responsibility transferred to Excess Baggage
If there was the staff didn't seem to know .

Iain from Excess Baggage speedily and efficiently dealt with the cash aspect of this. What could have been a very stressful situation was made so much easier thanks to Danielle & Iain's efficiency and professionalism. A big thank you to everyone who helped and huge thanks to whoever selflessly handed it in. Faith in human nature is restored.

Was flying through Stansted on Sunday…
Was flying through Stansted on Sunday and my flight was delayed by a couple of hours; didn’t feel like going through security and being stuck in the main terminal waiting for my flight with all my luggage so I left it at excess baggage for a bit. Wasn’t aware of this service at Stansted so it was super convenient. A huge plus was that staff were very friendly and helpful.
