Both items i bought work wounders and i even have sensitive hearing so i cant take loud noises.

From the get go flare have been brilliant.
From helping me choose what type and size, to ensuring fast safe delivery, to ensuring they fitted properly, its been 100% fantastic customer service.
I bought the calmer in kids as I have quite small ears for an adult.
These have helped me to endure going shopping, going to busy crowded places.
Then flare brought out the inserts for the calmer and WOW! even bigger difference in annoying noises!
Im using the 15db at the moment and its helped me endure some of the manic Christmas shopping! Without them there is no way id be able to endure going.
Not only do they help with sensory issues due to me being AuDHD but they also help me keep my independence too!

I can still hear people talk but without all the annoying background noise.
Honestly they have been an absolute god send for me and not only that, they are small enough for people not to see them.
I dont want to walk around with a label on my head (ear defenders) saying im AuDHD so these are just perfect enough to be able to reduce noise without looking Autistic!
People shouldn't judge but they do so these reduce the chances of being judged.
Literally life changing devices for me and if anyone that is neuro divergent is thinking about buying these....stop thinking and do it!
Once you get use to them (does take a bit of getting use too but only took 2 days for me), honestly you wont be without them ❤️🥰

I paid for the items but never received the items. I provided my full address for delivery and waited for more than a month. Eventually, I had to check everything myself and discovered that I was expected to pick up the package somewhere, even though Flare never sent me any notification they changed their delivery. After that, Flare studio still forcibly deducted money from the total amount I originally paid for the items.

I really love these! I don’t hear myself breathing. I can easily hear conversations. But my toddler can scream a foot away from me and there’s no sharp pain. It’s like all of the “sharpness” of harsh sounds is gone. These are comfortable for me for about 3-4 hours. They’re easy to clean with just warm water and dish soap. I keep them in my purse for when we go out and I don’t want to (or can’t) break out the huge noise canceling headphones. I’ve had these for months and they’re my go to “ear plug”.

For years I'd get feelings of panic in public spaces, particularly when people were eating nearby. I was diagnosed with ADHD a few years ago, and with that, I knew more about my sensory sensitivities. I think I saw an ad on Instagram and thought "hey maybe these will help". And boy have they. I keep them in their little case in my bag 24/7 - and if I go to a movie, I can pop them in and they "take away the rough edges" of sound. The popcorn and lip-smacking noises are smoothed out and no longer bother me. I went to my first big college football game last week, and my Calmer earplugs went in immediately - I could scream and cheer with the crowd without wanting to peel my skin off—no more sound panic for me. I'm buying a pair for my best friend for Christmas, after she messaged me that she was about to have a panic attack from the noise in the house on Thanksgiving. Thank you for Flare Audio <3

Life Changing Products!
There's a range of audio enhancing products which of some help with blocking out high pitch noise. Personally i use Calmer due to suffering from Misophonia, a noise related ailment. I also used to suffer from Tinnitus, these Flare Audio Calmers have completely eliminated my Tinnitus!These have helped me beyond words, not immediately, give them time and you won't be able to live without them!

Flare Isolate Titanium Earplugs

I bought the prototype of these years ago. Im so glad I did. I am a light sleeper. I had the opportunity to study at a world leading University in London for my MSc 2016-18. I couldn't afford London hotel prices travelling from Devon. I had to stay in hostel dorms which were not conducive for a restful nights sleep (snorers, partygoers, talkers, people coming in and out with lights on and off). I tried wax and foam earplugs they were useless.

In desperation, I thought Id give Flare Isolate, Titanium a go. Absolute game changer, what residual sound there was was from bone conduction, and a relatively quiet night sleep in a hostel dorm was achieved. The only draw back was comfort, laying on your side, but this was a small detail.
Glad to say I graduated with my MSc thanks to Flare...and as time has progressed, they accompanied me on my academic journey with a near completion Doctorate. Thanks everyone at FLARE keep up the good work!

They vet all reviews on the flare audio website so only the most glowing make it.
I purchased immerse loudspeaker plugs from them and unfortunately they don't work as advertised at all. They muffle the sound, like a highpass shelf that reduces the midrange and the highs.
I've tried all the different sized tips and positioned them as described in the manual without any success.
My wife also tried them with similar poor results.
Upon contacting the company they ask for pictures and an AI replies commenting on the photos whilst giving advice for the WRONG product.
Feels a bit scammy, certainly poor customer service

So i seen their ads for the immerse and thought i would give it a try as the price is very cheap £9.99.
i wish i didn't as these are junk, first off it makes audio sound much worse, second they are 3D printed with very visible layer lines.
I'm going to do more research and see what i can find out about these.
ok i have looked more into this and unfortunately in some older ads they do state that they are 3D printed, if i knew before hand i would not have ordered.
The sound is still worse than normal so not worth the £10, use the money to buy bread and butter it will give better sound experience

The company is genuinely interested in customer experience and for myself; that meant that they wanted to know why a particular product wasn't working for me (by live chat) rather than immediately selling me a more expensive product suitable for my needs.
I bought the more expensive product eventually and it transpires that it is indeed a brilliant product that almost totally relieves my auditory processing disorder which is a great hindrance to me.
The technology is good and is at a reasonable price point for that level of engineering and research.
Another time that their customer service has served me well was when they offered me a free replacement when the Calmer Pro product came apart and became lost with normal usage.
The ear device is designed to separate to enable cleaning (metal in silicone), but did so prematurely when I was removing them from my ears and therefore became lost when falling out of my hands to the floor and they couldn't be found.
The customer service assistant agreed that I should be granted full in store credit after I requested it, and I was able to buy a replacement very quickly after verifying such in an email.
It was a quick and easy transaction and the admin staff communicated well and politely in an email.

I have tried the calmer, calmer pro and soon to try the calmer performance. You might wonder why I've had so many, and the honest answer is that I'm trying to find the correct fit. I started with the regular Calmer in the standard size and they were constantly falling out. I then decided to try the mini calmer pro. I can clearly tell the difference in sound between the 2. I am a computing teacher and I found my students talking to me across the room was a little muffled with the standard, however this was not the case with the pro model. Although the Pro mini are a better fit the can still slip when I'm moving around the room a lot. Hence me now waiting for the calmer performance to be delivered. Hopefully this will be the perfect solution for me. Flare audio offer a 100 day return period so all of this testing has been possible to find out what works best for me. A truly genuine company with a product that has changed my working day. Noise sensitivity was not even something that I was aware of as an issue to me. I could feel that after a day in the classroom I was stressed and uptight. This is now massively reduced, I can still hear as before, no blocked ear feeling but the hours of clicking keyboards, mice and chatting students have little effect on me.

UPDATE:
I have now used the Calmer Performance for a day. The sound is slightly different to the Pro. They have an extremely slight blocked ear sound but it's hardly noticeable and I feel that the overall volume is slightly lower. Nothing compared to other manufacturers of similar products. I didn't feel like I had to keep adjusting them all the time. They were still in place after a hour lesson. I think I've finally found my Calmer product.

Flare Audio, I can confirm these are the best in the market for this type of work. I won’t leave the office to go on site without them. I’ve recommended them to a few lads on site and they swear by them now. They were a bit apprehensive with the cost as they had to buy them themselves but once they got them, they realised how effective they were.
I’ve been using Flare products for about 8 years now and these latest ones are definitely the best so far.
The only down side for me is one ear hole/canal is slightly larger than the other so I have to tweak it a bit to get a snug fit (nothing to do with the product) but apart from that, definitely highly recommended for building sites etc.
I have original Flare plugs, calmer, ones with plastic stems and now these.
The Calmer also help me with tinnitus, doesn’t get rid of it but helps me forget it’s there when wearing. Strange, but only when you think about the tinnitus not ringing it comes back, for me anyway.
Highly recommend all the products I’ve used so far.
Looking forward to trying out the new Calmer Performance and Definition.

I purchased a set of sonic lenses from flare audio after seeing their advert on Instagram. The product was great but I lost them after a couple of days.

I messaged them and the service was amazing. Mollie looked after me, kindly replaced the item despite it being my fault and then made sure the replacement was fitted properly. Massively impressed.

Since the moment I tried them, I knew that Flare Calmer devices would become an important part of the daily tools that allow me to function as a person with autism, attention deficit disorder, misophonia, and auditory processing disorder. It feels like the sound that enters my ears is more organized and polished, therefore easier to process, while taking the edge off the most irritating sounds and background noise. It definitely takes a bit of practice to insert them adequately and you will need a couple of days to understand and adapt to the auditory changes. I tried the Calmer Night in standard size and the Soft Mini variants. Thanks to their amazing customer service and Molly in particular, I was able to understand that I'm fortunate enough to be able to wear both sizes with the same level of comfort and efficiency, but I would definitely recommend most people to try the standard size first, as the brand says.

Currently sat in busy Gatwick airport departures. So so busy and loads going on. Started feeling anxious so popped in my "flares" and it was INSTANTLY calmer! Its honestly made the tight knot in my stomach loosen immediately. I'm glad I bought them with me. I've had them a couple of years and honestly well worth the money

I use Calmer when I just need to tone down the outside world. It smoothes the frequencies that aggravate me, especially when mixing live.

Day 2 I am amazed, I never realized how much noise affected me. Today I could have skipped out of work, still smiling .

I get distracted by background noises and get very agitated when I go to public places. These Calmers have made things like going to noisy cafes or the supermarket more than just bearable… I actually start smiling when I wear them. Yay!

After two and a half weeks, not so much as a shipping notification has been received. At least they make it easy to cancel your order. I guess I'll try Loop instead.
