Like many other reviewers I was taken by the advert for the slimline card holder. Slick advert, very poor product.

Delivery took in excess of 3 weeks and the wait was really not worth it. Other reviews on here provide more background with respect to the Frank Lourde business model and how their product is not theirs but bought in for pennies and knocked out for £'s.

The wallet that arrived bore very little resemblance to what I ordered for £19.95. It was a very pale imitation.

Having now read other reviews on Trustpilot I realise I am not the only one to have been had over by style over substance.

The matter is now with Paypal. Any refund will be a bonus but buyer beware.

Customer Services have responded to email queries but responses are slow and not useful. The last email I received today offered me a 100% discount code on another product which I have politely declined.

I have received confirmation in the last 48 hours that Paypal have upheld my complaint and my £19.95 is to be refunded.

I ordered a wallet in August. It has been “in transit” since Sept. It is now October. Their shipping company that they use has been sending the package back and forth between Perryn, w. Sacramento, and San Jose SINCE Sept. I know because I’ve been tracking the package online. I contacted their customer service 3x and I’ve only received a response 1x. Still no response to my request for a refund as this is ridiculous.

Fantastic. Have bought 2 wallets from franke lorde. The 2nd didn't arrive and another was sent out straight away!
Only improvement? Speedier customer service replies :).

I thought it was a reputable company with their website and reviews so I was excited to get my order. However, when I received it, I honestly could not believe this is a real product. It was very cheaply made, they even got the color wrong of what I ordered. Definitely felt scammed.

I have made a purchase on August 3rd.and since then nothing, no update on shipment or anything. I'm starting to think I was robbed!

EDIT: I have sent you the information, all I want a refund, this length of period of waiting and unresponsiveness is ridiculous!

I have decided to cancel my order but no one is replying to the various chat and emails I have sent.

They are quite unresponsive and I find that the lack of option to cancel an order online is not right if no one will be responding in a timely manner.

After finding the advertisement on Instagram I went to buy two wallets, coming to a total of roughly 40 GBP. After purchasing I saw these reviews and went to investigate myself...

Yes you can buy the wallet cheaper elsewhere, I saw it for about 5/6 GBP on eBay... I'm gutted.

The terms and conditions also state
"You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund."
Hence indicating that the returns are NOT free.

Furthermore, they say they do not offer refunds on sale items:
"Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded."

I am absolutely frustrated by this! I am currently bombarding them with emails and I hope customer services replies to either my emails or this post! Please get in contact with me to cancel my order!!!

Stylish and well designed wallet which looks good. Have seen other reviews say that it can't fit 5 cards - it does, there's no problem there.
I had the wrong colour sent to me by accident (no big deal, mistakes happen) but the service was excellent to remedy this - prompt, helpful responses and was fully resolved without me being out of pocket.

Their website looked legit and the reviews sounded good too, so I went ahead and made my purchase. Exactly 10 minutes after my purchase I found and read all these reviews on Trustpilot and damn was I tricked. I immediately emailed them requesting them to cancel my order, which they replied the next day saying they will process my order cancellation. However, I did not receive any updates from them for the next 3 days but rather received a notification stating that they had shipped my order out. I emailed them an extra 4x before I received a reply from them saying that they can't cancel my order now because the item has been shipped out (wth exactly why I requested an order cancellation right away after my order). It's been over 10 days since I received my tracking number but it seems to be a fake tracking number since the tracking number cannot be found by any tracking websites. Will never deal with this company ever again. I want my money back!!!

*if a Frank Lorde staff is reading this: my order number is #20282. Reply to my emails. I have been sending you one every 2 days.

*UPDATE 17/9/20: i received a full refund after a hard fight of constant no replies. Not a scammer, but I definitely would not recommend purchasing.

Update: to Frank Lorde's reply. You have all the information you need, so please reply to this review publicly indicating whether your company will honour it's claim of free returns by paying postage, and that you will or honour industry practice by accepting returns where packaging has been opened. State this publicly please, as when messaging your company privately, I (like others) have been managed down and out with delay and obfuscation. I'm not interested in engaging with you privately any longer. Honour your promises!

WALK AWAY! The positive reviews on Trustpilot for this company are clearly bogus. I ordered two slim wallets from Frank Lorde, having seen their advertisement on Facebook.

The company is selling a wallet on a 50% discount from ~£40 or £50, and the wallet they're selling isn't theirs! The brand of wallet is actually DAX and it goes for £13 on Amazon. Amazon has free returns, but Frank Lorde does not!

Needless to say it has been a horrible experience. I will never deal with this company again. The advertisement and checkout experience advertised free returns. I am UK based, and when initiating a return of the wallets I was instructed to post to Australia. I then contacted customer service who instructed me that I would need to pay for postage. I have enquired as to how this constitutes free returns and the company replied by saying postage wasn't included. In other words, returns are NOT free. They are lying in their advertising. The Returns and Exchanges section also instructs to return goods in their original packaging to qualify for a refund, which is a tall bar. I have kept the original packaging, but the rep communicating with me told me the packaging had to be unopened. How is it then, that one can evaluate their purchase when it is in a glue sealed plastic bag? This is clearly a scam tactic to make off with people's money when they want to return. As for the product itself, it is absolutely one of the worst construction / designs that I could imagine. The bogus reviews on their site are all 4 and 5 stars, I wish I had checked this site before I committed ~£50, with no guarantee of a refund for their atrocious product, and an extra bill (who knows how much) for postage back to Australia. I have contested the postage fee with a Frank Lorde customer associate, but based on these reviews I don't hold out much hope.

very poor quality

Bought one of their slim wallets, it is totally useless - is meant to hold 5 cards but if you put in more than 3 it is too stiff to open, feels and looks cheap and not fit for purpose. they have a 30 day guarantee but to get a refund you need to post to Australia! (I'm in the uk and the wallet was posted from Hong Kong anyway) - it will cost me most of the price of the wallet to return it. I'm sure they're aware of how useless it is and how unlikely it is for anyone to bother returning. Feel scammed - fancy adverts hide how useless the product actually is

Absolutely fantastic company with amazing products! Wallets are really well designed and so lovely to use.

Bought a couple of the wallets which I love but sadly had a small issue with one of them. The customer service I received from the company was just outstanding! Thank you, Josua for your patience and resolving my issue so efficiently.

I can 100% recommend Frank Lorde.

Bought a wallet as a gift for my boyfriend: very bad decision The quality is terrible and not at all what I expected. I do not recommend. Save your money for something that actually works!

Great quality and excellent customer service

I received my orderr promptly and efficiently. My travel bag was ad advertised and I look forward to using it for many years to come.

I bought the UltraSlim wallet. I got the dark gray body one with orange sleeves. It looks nice, looks eyecatching. I bought it hoping that I can fit more cards in it than those charlie wallets (which I currently use). To my surprise, this wallet, despite having more sleeves available struggles to fit even 5 cards in it. If you try and fit all 5 cards into all 5 of its sleeves, you actually find it hard to push in to close it properly. Pulling the sleeves out is kind of even worse as it feels like it might come off the wallet. $41 (sale price) and I feel like it's very overpriced. I don't think I'll ever have to buy again from this brand.

Love it! Everything stays in its rightful place.

The product is super convenient, cool and handy.
The design is beautiful.
And the Customer support is great! They even gave me tips on how to keep it clean!

UPDATE : DO NOT give in to their offers of a refund if you change your review. This goes against Trustpilot "Guidelines for Businesses" Section "Reviewers own their Reviews".

Report them to Trustpilot. They are trying to build a fake reputation on here.

At first glance Frank Lorde seemed to be reputable. This is all a facade; the reviews on the website are very clearly fake. Comments on any social media platform are very quickly deleted to protect this unstable reputation. It's all an act.

My order was late with very little customer service even after extensive emailing.
When it did arrive, it was the wrong colour and the quality was just not there.
A month of emailing later, I'm offered a 100% off coupon to reorder the wallet. I want my money back.
Returned the wallet (shipping to Australia came to half the price). No acknowledgment of receipt or that I would get my money back.

TLDR; if the social media accounts vacant of any comments (not even fake ones) is anything to go by, don't touch this company.

I did finally receive my money back...
