Like many others I found the initial installation was fine.
However, when the first service was due that is when the problem started. None of the telephone numbers are in use or is their e mail.
I assume they are still trading so at the moment I am trying to make contact
The problem is there are several companies with a similar name
Only interested in the big jobs with no after care
Only interested in installing boilers and NOT interested in after care and small jobs. Nothing wrong with the install but not interested in doing smaller jobs. Had them install a boiler and radiators throughout. When I contacted they regarding moving a gas pipe and other small jobs ,I was ignored and given excuses. When it came to the service for the new boiler they were no where in sight with no contact at all. Poor customer services with no aftercare. Unfortunately for GA this seems to be a ongoing issue after speaking to another company who is very happy to take on small jobs as well as carry out a boiler service.

Was having a fantastic experience with this company until.... it came to actually fitting the boiler. On the day my boiler was due to be installed I got a call from the engineer to say he would be an hour late as he was absolutely starving!!! I let it fly over my head and gave the guy a chance. Anyway so here turns up this little fella to fit my boiler, seemed a nice guy. Couple of hours go by and I go to check up on him... to find him laying flat across my kitchen table on his phone chewing post-it notes... He said he had a bad back and just needed a lie down. I felt sorry for him... that didnt last very long as when I went to check on the job he had done I found an unlit boiler and what I can only describe as the carcass of a stick of black pudding. I go back into my kitchen to challenge him to find him cracking my maldon sea salt shaker into his mouth. I asked him to leave immediately to which he responded 'alright mate' and flew off in his small man playing N-Dubz at an excessive volume.
Avoid at all costs.

Failed Service Contract following boiler install.
Had a boiler installed by GA Services in Feb 2021, took out the 5yr Service deal with them which is why we chose them for the installation, on booking the service 1 yr later informed that they no longer cover my area and they would reimburse me the £80 for the service If I arrange with another gas engineer and provided the receipt. I carried out exactly as they had requested and was then told that they would only reimburse up to £70 as their policy had changed. I have emailed and called to ask to speak to a manager, no reply to my emails, phone number is now dead and I am left out of pocket as GA services have not honored their Contract. Where are you GA Services ????

Sadly, something seems to have gone wrong recently. We had our Viessmann UK boiler installed by GA Services SW a year ago. They had glowing reviews online & they still do, apart from the 3 recent ones here...
Arranged for our first Annual Service a few weeks ago, for this morning, but they didn't turn up. My partner arranged to stay in all morning as well.
Website down, phone line dead. Companies House website notes their Confirmation Statement is overdue & recent change of address too. Looks like our 5 years of Free Services, agreed a year ago with GA Services SW, was worthless. Have contacted Viessmann UK directly, as our 10 year manufacturer's warranty still stands. But the Service has cost us £138 that we have struggled to find, in the current financial climate.
We live and learn (sometimes)
My initial experience of GA Services in April 2021 was good; a new Vaillant boiler was installed and has run well to date. Like some others, I purchased G A Services' 5 year free servicing cover, but when I tried to contact them to arrange the first conditional service for the boiler, the telephone did not connect, emails were not answered and the website does not load. Vaillant have been very helpful and have told me their 10 year guarantee still stands, but I will have to pay for the annual service (currently £99), the first one of which has now been booked with them. As GAServices have obviously now done a runner, at least they won't be charging further unsuspecting customers for non-existent future servicing. We live and learn (sometimes).

DONT TRUST THIS COMPANY! Chose this company rather than a local company because we have a terminally ill little boy which means we are away at hospital for treatment/trials a lot of the time - Bristol, Southampton, London and we were told by the salesman that they would look after us and we didn't have to worry about servicing etc so purchased boiler which included a 5 year free annual service which maintains the warranty. We were told that we would be contacted to arrange the service and there was no mention of the crucial 30 day contract clause or that we had to contact them. This didn't happen and when we telephoned a couple of weeks after the anniversary of the fitting date to enquire why we hadn't been contacted to arrange a service we were told that because we hadn't contacted them 30 days prior to the service date then we had invalidated our warranty. We thought the delay was due to Covid and therefore hadn't been worried about them not contacting us earlier. We telephoned and asked to speak to the owner or a manager in charge but were told were not there and the best option was to send an email. We left our contact details but no-one has ever bothered to ring us back. We did send an email but as yet have received no reply. We wish that we had gone with a local firm rather than this company. The boiler is already not working properly and its only been fitted for one year. I feel that the 30 day clause has been put in the contract to get out of the warranty and they have to intention of servicing the boilers for the guarantee period. It seems that we are not the only people to have experienced this problem. If this company can do this to a family with a terminally ill child without any ethics then they can do it to anyone. They are unscrupulous and shouldn't be trusted. I would urge everyone affected to contact Watchdog and their local newspapers and post comments about this company on other websites to stop this company from misleading other people into buying their boilers. We are in the process of doing this and hope to get some good publicity because if they would do this to our family they would do it to anyone.

Going back on a promise
I bought a gas boiler from this company less than a year ago.
I also purchased a ten year warranty for the boiler.
The warranty requires an annual service.
They promised to undertake the service each year.
On this basis I bought the boiler. Now at the first time of asking they have said they are unable to provide an engineer. They did not take the trouble to inform me of this reduction in their service and now I am close to not having the service and invalidating my warranty. They boast about their 5 star ratings on Trustpilot - my experience is totally different

Great service from start to finish
Great service from start to finish. No heavy sales, just decent advice. The heating engineer and electrician that came were tidy, polite and efficient and caused minimal disruption. The boiler, a Worcester Bosch R27i Greenstar system boiler, has been in for a couple of weeks and is working well with no problems. Follow up, guarantee and other paperwork sorted out promptly. I’m confident that should I have an issue, they’ll sort it. Happy and impressed.
Couldn’t praise enough
Couldn’t praise enough. They Came out to service our 1 years old new boiler and noticed our old flue ( note that previous company who installed new boiler failed to make us awakes would need changing due to the fact it was 16 years old and in bad condition) GA then checked the flue on the roof and went up in loft to check and took pictures of old flue to make us aware the condition of it and recommended not using boiler until new flue was installed and safe. They then came the very next day to install the new flue the man who came was very nice and helpful and again took photos in loft/ roof to make us aware and shown the new install, later that day after install the same engineer rang me to say he would like come back at 630pm to add a few self tappers( tiny screws) for extra security to fitting, the point is they could have left that out and we would have never known but it shows there attention to detail and reassured us they don’t cut corners. They then rebooked us in for a new service to check everything again which they did free of charge. Highley reccomend. Very helpful lady on the phone in the office aswel who is Always very nice and happy to help out. Great company

Professional combi boiler replacement from start to finish. My boiler struck a leak and rather than repair I decided to replace. Next morning, the surveyor gave me a quick, no-nonsense and fair assessment of my choices and the price was reasonable price so the job was booked ... and he stopped the leak! The office staff gave good comms, personable and business-like. The gas engineer literally did the job in front of me, I was working in my office. I appreciated his approach... no wasted effort, very competent, no mess, and adapted and worked around a potential blocking issue. Job done in good time and totally chilled experience for the customer. Highly recommended

Our engineer Malcolm turned up on time & did an excellent job in replacing our old boiler, he kept the area very clean. He helped me set up the thermostat with my phone WiFi, The boiler is working perfectly, he also explained the settings on the boiler as well, it was a pleasure allowing Malcolm in our home
