Bought my case when I purchased my phone. Its turned yellow and bits are breaking off. Its also super flimsy next to the pen port, looks like it wouldn't possibly survive a drop on that corner. Luckily never have. Not really worth the cash.

Galaxy Note 10+ Oxford Eco case Fraying.
I bought the Oxford Eco from Carphone Warehouse and within a few weeks it started to fray. This is meant to be a premium brand but now, after only a couple of months it looks anything but. I previously had the same model for my Note 8 which is still perfect. I can only assume Gear4 have reduced the quality of the materials used.Very disappointed!

The gear4 case really kind of ruined my life and why I don't have a have decent phone anymore. It was always slipping out of my hand or pocket I was always losing it/ But the esthetic was all so terrible, I hated holding it as soon as I picked it.. the company brags about how it is so protective
it is basically the same thing as thing bullet proof glass. Well built proof glass makes... great bullet proof glass, it's not something I want to be handling all day everyday it was horrible.... the case was basically indestructible
but I don't care about the case, especially such a dumb plain thing that serioualt lools like its worth 2 bucks and you got ita at the dollar store.... anyway the really owe me a phon
The only thing resistant to this case is it’s inability to keep your phone safe.
If I could go down to .5 star or even 0 I would. Aside from the case changing colors significantly over time and looking almost rustic, it does not protect the back of the phone at all. I have had a case and glass cover on the front since day 1. I have kids so naturally things happen. How is it that a similar drop to the back of the phone completely shatters the back vs one to the front of the phone with a screen protector? 13+ foot drop? Maybe onto cotton or carpet. Anything beyond that. Good luck. Phone has begun to sputter since it happened as well. Not sure if related but will not buy this case again even though per the Verizon store I got it at, it’s a great case. Maybe for the kickbacks they get for it but for everyday use... nah fam.

Got my new p30 pro and got advice from carphone warehouse this was one of the best cases. Phone fell out my pocket and the back of my phone has cracked. Screen is fine just the back where the case is ment to cover it. Not happy with this product.

Crystal Palace Case DOES not protect Glass & GLASS NOT covered by warranty
When I bought a new phone, the Verizon store highly recommended this case. Assured me it was very protective & durable. Within a couple of months, my phone fell out of my pocket, about 31 inches, & the bottom of the corner of the screen shattered into powder. I wish I had seen the reviews on this site before I wasted so much money. "Drop Protection Certified 13ft" is laughable. Warranty ONLY covers the case. Damage to the phone is not covered.
My phone broke the second time It fell.
My phone broke the second time it fell. It slipped out my hand, and it’s supposedly a 16ft drop give me a break. This Case is trash!! If you want a shattered screen, buy a Gear4 case.

Phone fell out of pocket thinking my £39 case would protect my phone !! Nope cracked in corner went to claim against the case failure, said only the case can be claimed for, not the phone !! Ffs how can sell this case claiming would protect your phone if dropped but are not interested when damage phone !! Would never buy from this brand ever again.

Recently contacted Gear4 customer service department as i was instructed to from an earlier complaint,I explained how my phone in its case fell out of my pocket and the screen broke. customer services have told me they are sorry and offered me a £10.00 voucher to spend on other gear4 merchandise , i felt insulted .
Apparently the case is the only thing that is guaranteed, if it fails to protect your phone they do not want to know. you may as well buy a cheap case .
Would not buy again...
This case came highly recommended by AT&T when we purchased an iPhone 11 Pro Max for our son last month. He dropped his phone and the back glass is now broken. First and last time purchasing this brand.

My android phone in its gear 4 case…smashed
My android phone in its gear 4 case fell out of my pocket , so at the most 1mtr fall height, subsequently my screen has cracked Samsung 7 curved. I ask at carphone warehouse and I was told nothing could be done as it's the case that has the warranty not the phone. Surely this is not correct as the whole reason anybody would by this case would be for it to do as it says. PROTECT THE PHONE!!.

Didn't protect my android phone when it fell out of my pocket onto laminate flooring.Only about 50cm hight. Well disappointed as it wasnt cheap. Will go to the shop where I bought it, but chances of company honouring claims are very slim. Will update post once I've been to the shop where I purchased the case

If you read down, Gear4 conceded and promised to send a new case under warranty
I rang customer service about my Piccadilly Gear 4.. D30 case coming away from the back plate.
It is only 10 months old and have the receipt.
Customer service said as I did not buy it from one of their recommended suppliers therefore not under warranty.
What a cop out ! and just a way of not backing up your products!
I bought it off ebay new from a seller who does 100,000’s in turnover, most likely an ebay millionaire!
Who doesn't buy off Ebay, one of the biggest sales platforms in the world
Question whether you would buy a Gear4 product after these reviews, as poster 2 before me has exactly the same problem of back plate coming away from D30 surround
Why no support offered with receipt beyond me that must be illegal for a new product.
Also reading reviews on trustpilot many people have experienced the same problem. This is obviously a manufacture fault !!
I WANT A REPLACEMENT FROM YOU GEAR4
🧧 update:
Gear 4 and Claire did contact me by message and have decided to honour the warranty after all after 1st refusal
So that is a result and a run around.
Useful to have an independent reviewer like trustpilot
To quote Donald it is fake everything these days.. including reviews

Ive had 2 of the crystal cases for iPhone XR in the past year. both cases had exactly the same faults: the back detached from the sides, the case went a horrible yellow colour and lots of cracking around the corners. If you live in the U.K you will not be able to get a replacement or refund when this happens as the company that owns gear4 excludes U.K when you go to apply! having spent about £60 on these cases in a year, I can tell you its all false advertising and the product is not fit for purpose. there are many better cases on the market. DO NOT BUY.

It seems to be a common complaint on this site. I dropped my iPhone XS Max from my hand to the floor with the gear4 case on and the back glass shattered. I've never had a iPhone back glass shatter with any other cases. I would definitely not recommend the Gear 4. I'll be going back to OtterBox. Unfortunately I'll have to pay a large deductible to get the phone fixed.
I have on the Gear 4 Piccadilly clear case

I’ve got a gear4 D30 case
I’ve got a gear4 D30 case , for my iPhone X ,take it out every couple of weeks to clean the speaker and charger holes , Took it out , and the whole back is smashed on my phone , the impact looks like it has been on the back top of phone and glass is cracked all the way down , D30 ? I thought this was some super material that absorbs the shocks of drops , can’t even remember dropping my phone so can’t of been a bad drop , very disappointed!
