Our first experience of this service, and it was great
Extremely easy to register and set up the app - everything was done on the TGV as we travelled to our destination! Verification and checks were no problem for me as a UK citizen with a UK licence. The app is in English, which made following the process simple. Instructions from vehicle owners sre only shown in local language, so the ability to speak it or be able to access translation should be noted. Very clear instructions to find the vehicle, and the app walks you through pre- and post hire checks. Could be clearer about adding condition information, though (you need to mark each kind of condition you want to document before going to photos). The whole process was surprisingly quick, both pre- and post-hire, and completely automatic. We just wanted a vehicle for a days, and we got a nice, clean older car with AC that got us to where we wanted to go for half the price one of the big car rental services would have charged. Bravo! When we next travel to an area the service is active we will definitely consider using it.
