I looked online, used the "try on" feature to check to look.
Entered my Boots prescription.
Checked the fit measurements which are on the side of the frame on my old glasses to see if the glasses I picked would fit...they were the same so ordered.
And less than 2 weeks later, my 2 pairs of glasses arrive.
Perfect prescription, perfect fit for the cost of £49.

Thank you for letting us know, and we’re sorry that the Reactolite lenses are not as dark as you expected.
The lenses are designed to react to sunlight and gradually darken depending on the light conditions. However, they may not become as dark as a dedicated sunglass tint.
For comparison, our standard Dark Tint option is designed to block around 75% of sunlight, so this would normally appear darker and more like traditional sunglasses.
We completely understand why you expected a stronger tint, especially if you were hoping to use them like sunglasses.

My go to for the future!
As someone who has worn glasses since young, just for the ‘ease’ I have time and time again got my glasses from Specsavers on finishing my routine eye test every 18/24 months. This time around I thought I would try Glasses Direct because I come out of Specsavers spending hundreds of pounds when they add everything on at the end - I will be using Glasses Direct from now on.
I ordered a pair of normal glasses and sunglasses, adding my prescription to both and they were with me within a week. Customer service was fantastic when I accidentally put my sunglasses through as normal glasses, this was fixed within minutes.

I’ve only given 4 stars as my sunglasses were not my first choice as you had sold out of the ones I really liked, however you did redeem yourself by offering me 50% of the pair that I have selected so that was very much appreciated.
Apart from that the service has been amazing glasses delivered when said so can’t fault anywhere else.
