Damaged new Iphone 15

I am writing to formally address a grievance regarding an iPhone 15 purchased on August 25, 2025​ from GMS store at Alegro SIntra Mall, Lisbon, Portugal.

In November 2025, I reported a defect with the device's speaker. Despite my request for a replacement, I was informed that only a repair service would be provided. After a period of 27 days, the device was returned with physical damage, including a chipped shell and scratches, which were not present prior to the service.

GMS has repeatedly refused to replace the damaged unit, and the device remains in their possession.

I bought an iPhone 17 Pro on December…

I bought an iPhone 17 Pro on December 5th. I have no information about the shipping date.
On the 6th and 7th, I sent emails and messages through the website, but received no response.
On the 9th, I went directly to the store, but they were unable to give me any information, even though the iPhone was in stock there. The store told me that customer service would contact me.
It is now December 12th, and I still have no information about the shipment and no one has contacted me. This is outrageous for a €1400 purchase.

My first purchase with GMS

I recently placed an order with GMS for an iPhone Air. The ordering process itself was very easy – the website is clear and simple to navigate. The only thing I felt was missing was a delivery timeline, similar to what Apple provides. Having that would have given me peace of mind instead of uncertainty about when the order would arrive.

I did end up contacting customer support, and they responded promptly with confirmation that my order was on its way. Overall, a good experience, though adding delivery estimates would make it even better.

Damaged package

I purchased an iPhone online to be picked up at the store. The phone came in it’s original package but it was damaged and dirty. For the expensive prices Apple charges, one would think these stores would be more careful with its products.

Easy to order and pay

Easy to order and pay. Contact via WhatsApp to enquire about delivery was slow but they responded. Delivery driver called in advance and spoke English (very helpful!). Delivery within 2 days of order. Only things that would have improved it would be an online delivery tracker and a shorter delivery time slot notified in advance (as others do). 9am - 7pm isn't very helpful!

Gms store not best store I purchased…

Gms store not best store I purchased magsafe but thats the 2meter wire i never 2meter wire yesterday i visited store they told me you can return in online gms store not here because online gms store oprate other people what is the shitt no trust in online?? Im from sintra and i spend lot of money in bolt and they told me this shitt and they never return there is option to 14 days return any store colombo mall store not best

Typical service experience here

1. I paid my order with Klarna, and was charged for all amount instead of three payments, like it was written on your website!
2. Nobody did anything to fix it, nor Klarna, not your shop, everybody sending me one to another.
3. The delivery term was 3 days on the webpage, but then you changed it to 3 weeks.
4. I wrote you 5 emails, including that I want to cancel the order, and you answered that you should just wait for the order!
5. The physical shop said that I must write or call the online shop to fix this.

Store employees very unhelpful

The employees in the store are lazy and uninterested like many of the reviews have already mentioned, doing the bare minimum, i told them my situation and they had a opportunity to save me 25% (VAT) on my purchase but didn't bother asking me… i heard them mutter in Portuguese about VAT to a collège it so i googled about it and went back to see if i could get the form i needed but they refused to help saying i was too late
