Scam automatic subscription tenewal

This review concerns a problem regarding a company called 'Ourtime' ( not Google) but it is on here because alot of people use it. DO NOT USE this company They will always automatically renew your subscription without your consent They will ignore any correspondence to them regarding this matter. The only way round this is to contact your bank!! Before they also try and aquse me saying this is AI generated it is not. All negative reviews posted about them ( which is alot) are said to be AI generated. WARNING STAY CEAR!!!

Google Nest thermostat

This is about Google Nest thermostat. When ambient temperature go up, I switch the thermostat to eco mode, when it basically switches off the room heating. However, in the night, at mid night or there about when you are asleep, thermostat gets out of eco mode by itself! This switches on the heating system when I don't want it on, wasting gas. I really wonder if this is Google helping energy companies upon some 'behind the scenes' understanding between companies!

Booked a family holiday with JET2 to…

Booked a family holiday with JET2 to Hotel playa real,Tenerife.

DO NOT USE JET2 OR STAY AT THIS HOTEL

Well where shall i begin on arriving late to reception, there was a queue of about 30 people before us. With one person on reception, although there were 3 people standing behind the desk. We had 2 children aged 1 and 3 and asked If we could go and get drinks for them. But was told no, we had to sign in first. By the time we had signed, then it was 11:03pm Run downstairs to get the kids just an orange juice or Squash. I was asked to pay for it as all inclusive had finished. Went back upstairs. And complained, was told I it's gone 11 o'clock. There's nothing we can do about it. I then asked is there bottle water or anything. No, and I was also told that I get a sandwich and a drink for our evening meal once we had arrived , which the staff were fuming about. But eventually, did give me 2 bottles of water. So me and my eldest lad Popped down to get McDonald's to get us all food for the night. The mc donalds was nice so we brushed off the rudeness and tried to start enjoying our holiday.but things went from bad to worse.
Definitely , not a family resort or hotel as on the saturday night they'd hired out their function room for all night rave that ended at between 3 and 4 am Sunday morning, full of teenagers, which we're doing drugs in the toilets, cocaine residue was left smashed bottles,and blood everywhere, they were also being rude, and disrespectful to the hotel guests.
Unfortunately our two rooms were directly above the function room. The floor was vibrating, we tried to put the kids to sleep at around 10ish which was impossible due to the noise. I approached the front desk and ask them if we could be moved to another suite, and they said that would be absolutely impossible as there were no other rooms available, so no chance. By 12 o'clock, I had enough went back to the front desk. Demand to speak to the manager, he tried Palming me off again but I wasn't having any of it. And I demanded to be moved After about 20 to 30 minutes, he eventually agreed to move us to another suite, But I had to move the cot bed myself,whilst i was at the front desk i watched the staff palm off at least 10 other familys and i was told we had to be out of the rooms by 10am, there was no help from the hotel staff, We eventually got the kids settled and to sleep around one am, we didn't sleep very well .We paid to go to Siam park on the Sunday but the kids knackered didn't get to sleep on time and then we woke at 9,so we could catch breakfast and move our stuff back to our room otherwise they were going to charge us for another 2 rooms but the kids still didn't have enough sleep and were still grumpy and miserable all day.Jet2 have been informed about this at the resort and have just passed the buck to the hotel it's been 6 months since we, visited and only yesterday we got our compensation? I mean shocking compensation, which was 4 Amir, £130 to split between 6 of us which is absolutely ridiculous on over £3000 holiday. I'll never use this hotel again and I'll never use Jet 2 Absolutely Horrendous and couldn't care at all. We go on 3 holidays a year.and we're not picky if there's bugs, cockroaches ,cracked tiles ect it doesn't really bother us .But this is this is the first bad holiday experience we've ever had. Unfortunately we had taken 2 youngest grandchildren on their first holiday with their parents and it was all ruined due to the fact the hotel didn't care about us and neither did Jet2 . I could go on and on but I'd be wasting more of my time .
There were at least 10 other family's complaining when I was at the desk , and in the morning there was over 20 plus people complaining to the jet2 rep who was horrified to find this out but could only log in all our complaints and pass it on to jet2 head office, did I mention they couldn't care less . We stayed in September 2025

Arrogant to an extreme

Refuse to remove blatant, proven online scam ads for counterfeit goods. No morals and 'policies' that just suit their profit-making. A shameful, out-of-touch conglomerate.
Example: 'Halverstone' / 'Halver Stone' are allowed to steal from shoppers every day, with fake-branded goods, phoney promises and total contempt for the law - all issues that appear beyond Google's commercial interests or brand values.

No support

Have monthly subscriptions going out of a Google account but no longer have the devices and when I log in from another device, it sends an authentication code to the device I no longer have. When I try to recover the account, it tells me I can't because I need to be using the device I don't have. There doesn't seem to be any way to contact anyone at Google to resolve this so I am paying for subscriptions that I can't use.

Bizarre and incompetent

Several of my Google reviews of places or companies I have used were removed for being against policy. Heaven knows why as many had been up for years including one up for 9 years. Did appeal some which were reinstated. Just noticed another removal with no option to appeal. This had been up for 4 years!

Google only protects the members that pay😖😖

I have used Google platform to make people aware of a Heat Pump Company that left us with with No Heating No Certification the £18.250 we paid him he then refused to return to make the system compliant.
We paid another Oswestry Company £2k + to get the system approved the Full story is on TrustPilot that asked for all verification about what we stated.
When leaving a Review on Google they took the Heating company’s word and never once asked us for evidence taking our review off line leaving potential customers victims to this company . When requesting Air Source Heating from an Oswestry Company go to a company with a retail outlet not one that works from home and out of a car.

Service

My car went in for a service 16 February.
We were greeted by friendly staff who made us feel relaxed and offered us a hot/cold drink which was ideal on a wet morning!
The showroom itself was clean and tidy with new cars to view.

I would recommend the Lookers in St Helens and look forward to any future car issues here.

Booked a table at Pera Turkish…

Booked a table at Pera Turkish restaurant in Jaywick, Essex, went with a friend today Friday 20th February, the food was way above my expectations, service was above and beyond, every member of staff was friendly and attentative, restaurant is lovely inside warm and welcoming, will certainly be visiting again in the very near future, most of all the food was excellent!

Hopeless.

Hopeless.
had an offer to change 9A to 10A
was very confusing and got 2 valuations for my old phone.
Called them to ask, they make it difficult to contact them.
They said could not help me with price problem.
What's a help centre for?
was in the Philippines so could not hear well at all, reding from a script so couldn't have a normal conversation.
So they have lost a sale.

Google pixel 7a repair con.

My 7a stopped working, on looking at it the back cover has stated to swell, contacted Google help and they said they would replace the battery for free. Now here comes the con!!! After it is sent from the UK to Poland and Google receive it they now claim the screen is cracked and I need to pay £125. After doing some Googling (ironically) Google state symptoms for the battery expansion is bulging covers and cracking screens.

La Zenia

Well it's been a long time coming of me and my wife attending this Tapas Restaurant and believe me it was really worth the wait. We attended at Lunchtime and from the moment we entered the front door the welcome could not of been more friendly and that was before we even chose a drink or the fact we wanted to eat there as well.
It's a lovely piece of Spain but in the Mapperley top part of Nottingham and I would call it a hidden gem but I can't see that being the case for to long. The food was extremely tasty, fresh and the one thing not many are good at and that was it was hot. My wife hates food that has lost it's heat in minutes after hitting the table so a huge tick from her. I challenge anyone that if they was to pay them a visit that they wouldn't return. Heaven on a plate and the owners/staff are quite amazing. A huge big up for the chef Mustafa as every dish was equal to each other no one dish surpassed another every dish was mucho moy Buena

This company is excellent

This company is excellent. They are reliable, have good prices for triple glazed windows and inform you at every stage from booking to fitting.
The fitter is so neat and tidy, everything is taken away and left very clean. I would definitely recommend this company.
