Went in looking for fishing equipment and got reeled in with some great prices, luckily got provided with lots of help from Matt, very knowledgeable guy and provided a great experience 😁

We went into Plymouth GoOutdoors today to look for walking poles. Camille helped us enormously, she was so knowledgeable and helpful. We will definitely be buying two sets.

Come in with my hubby today to get him a fishing reel and was amazed by the knowledge and helpfulness of Matt!! He was so really good and had a good chat with us about the reel and what my husband needed. Love go outdoors for fishing stuff but think they need to expand the range a tad and maybe add more high end items but service was amazing from matt. Thank you.

I purchased an ebike from Go Outdoors a couple of weeks ago. I googled the Halfords range and another website that deals in second hand bikes but couldn't really find anything suitable.
I only came across the Go Outdoors range almost by accident as I didn't even realise that they sold bikes!!
Saw one that I liked, the price was amazing and I was able to pick the bike up about 2 hours after buying it.
I was served by a gentleman in the Plymouth branch by the name of Andy, so a special mention to him, knowledgeable, gave me lots of good clear advice, really very helpful, built the bike for me really quickly, with no added extra fee for building it and I get a free checkup once the bike is 6 weeks old. The battery and the electrical parts are also guaranteed for 2 years.
Would definitely recommend Andy & Go Outdoors for anyone who is thinking of getting an ebike.

Went into Plymouth Go Outdoors today looking for trousers with cut off for zips and to talk about electric bikes. First class service from Matt who listened carefully to what we needed and explained what we needed to look out for . Would definitely recommend.

So much was out of stock in my size (medium).
It blows my mind that a company would invest so much in promoting a business, then when customers arrive, there’s no stock in common sizes across so many items (e.g. tshirts/trousers) - and its been like this since I started looking regularly a couple of months ago.

Staff are always excellent, but the queues can be ridiculous - especially when someone has a membership issue (I’ve turned around and left a couple of times when I’ve seen a long queue).

I wish there was no member pricing, it’s just a nuisance, and makes it look like you’re cheating non-members. If membership were a good idea, every shop would do it.

I also wish there were a seating/coffee area for family members who are bored waiting for one enthusiast.

Good shop though, I’ve bought loads lately (would have bought twice as much if you had stock in my size).

Went in with the mother-in-law who has decided to join a group of cold water swimmers !! Crazy lady, anyway she wanted a Dry Robe and Go Outdoors have a huge range of products to choose from so she found what she wanted and away we went.

loved all the selection available, lovely deals on got a few bargains. was served by saffron and she was very talkative and friendly, had a bubbly personality which made our experience better! will totally be coming back soon!
