It took a while to make that 1st call
It took me a while to finally make that first call. The hesitancy was understandable, but realise any concerns were entirely unfounded. I had a very positive experience, from the first call, right through to 4 in person sessions. They were local and I commenced sessions in 1 week from my first contact. I cannot rate the service and quality any higher. So helpful.

We had a family issue that was causing…
We had a family issue that was causing emotional stress. I called the helpline and was immediately put through to a counsellor who listened, empathised and offered advice. This immediately brought relief to us and the provided a way forward. Highly recommended.

First time to reach out won't be the last time!
I reached out as I had a dental issue that was causing me distress and I didn't know where to begin to resolve the problem.
I remembered that I could talk to a representative and Georgia was amazing. She listened to me with courtesy and empathy and then offered excellent suggestions for a way forward which I subsequently followed.
I was very impressed with this service and would highly recommend. I can see me using it more often.

I have been suffering with depression…
I have been suffering with depression after loosing two of my siblings very close together. For the last six weeks I have tried to get some help . Finally I managed to speak to a lady called Linda. She listened to me and gave me advice on how to move forward and cope with the grief I was experiencing. I am going to follow her recommendations and get back to who I was. I was struggling with anxiety and thought that I might be heading for a nervous breakdown. I work full time and my employer gives us free access to Wisdom Wellbeing so I called them and explained how I was feeling. That week, my mother had been diagnosed with lung cancer and I felt like everything was about to fall apart. Within a week I was able to arrange my first TEAMS counselling session with Claire and she reassured me that I was right to reach out and get help. Without Claire's counselling; the 'homework' she gave me; the advice and new ways to look at things, I would have ended up taking time off work. Not only did Claire help get me through a time of extreme fear and stress, she has helped my resilience grow and I hope that whatever life throws at me next, I will be strong enough to cope. And if I don't feel I am, I won't hesitate to call that number again and ask for help. Thank you Claire and Wisdom Wellbeing and thank you to my employer for giving me access to such excellent support.
