Trained with Graeme to get my cat D license, he was absolutely great, made everything i needed to know simple and so easy to understand! Passed everything first time, extremely good, professional training. If I go for my HGV any time, I will be using these.

Helped me pass first time
Graeme was a great instructor and helped me pass all practical exams first time with Arriva. He is very knowledgeable and made things much easier to understand. If I manage to go in for a HGV licence, I will definitely go through these.

I just wanted to say how fantastic the entire training process was leading up to my test. I had the opportunity to spend time with three different members of your team, Kamile,Luke and Stephen. Each one was exceptional in helping me feel comfortable—both behind the wheel and during the times I wasn’t. I never felt awkward asking questions, and everything was explained in a way that even a novice car driver could easily understand.
As someone who manages a fleet of 20 vehicles, the training has truly given me the confidence to engage more effectively with our drivers. I now have a much better appreciation for their daily challenges and what they go through while representing the company on the road.
Thank you to the entire team for their patience, professionalism, and outstanding teaching. It’s clear they take great pride in equipping learners with the skills needed to become safe and confident drivers.

From day one the staff were friendly…
From day one the staff were friendly and helpful. On day one I was ready to quit purely because I doubted that I could drive a truck day one was a bad day for me, Dell my instructor took me to one side and reassured me and I felt better right away.
Day two wow what an improvement and then even better by day 3, ok so on day 4 I slipped a little, but day 5 again Dell took me to one side and reassured me again, day 5 was my driving test yes I took the test and passed my class 2 HGV first time, thank you Dell you gave me the confidence that I needed.
I will always recommend these guys they do an amazing job and are really down to earth keep up the great work.

From the very beginning, Greame provided extensive support and training that was absolutely crucial to my success. First class instruction.
The quality of instruction is first class, my instructor in particular, was calm, measured and delivered the training in such a way as to make the whole experience enjoyable as well as hugely educational at the same time. A new skill set learned and massive thanks to Mick Afendoulis in particular for the exceptional training received.

My overall experience was good, I really enjoyed the whole learning process and all members of staff I met were friendly and professional. I would like to give a special mention to my instructor Gary Adams for his kind and calm mentoring throughout the training course.

I had a great experience with Robinsons in sheerness. First week with Dave giving his wealth of knowledge on a class 2. With great support and encouragement to help me progress Leading onto class 1 with Alex. Had a fantastic time also giving his vast experience and little catch phrases that sticks with me helping driving a real pleasure and enjoyment. Poor experience from start to finish. Training cancelled at a days notice. Next to 0 communication. Rude and unhelpful staff on the phone who would not help rectify the problem. Process took too long .

That said, we arranged the next available training date promptly to minimise disruption.
We’d also like to clarify that the training process involves much more than just the practical element. From the start, you completed several important stages, including your medical and theory tests. You also had access to our high-quality theory training software, which supported you in passing all theory components on your first attempt—a strong indication of the effectiveness of the resources provided.
Regarding communication, we respectfully disagree with the claim of “next to zero” contact. Communication is handled through your line manager, and there would have been ongoing dialogue with them throughout the process to arrange bookings and provide updates. We’re sorry if this information was not always passed on to you directly.
Finally, we take your comments about staff attitude extremely seriously. We are committed to delivering excellent customer service and will be investigating this matter thoroughly to ensure our standards are met.

All the information I needed to get my licence was laid out in easy to follow modules and steps. The app and support was great and I would highly recommend hgvc to anyone thinking of starting their journey of becoming a professional driver.
