Outstanding customer service and care !
This was my very first order with HOKA. Unfortunately, my parcel didn’t manage to arrive, but I am still giving them 5 stars purely because of their incredible customer service team.
From start to finish, the support was top-notch. Everyone I interacted with was extremely kind, polite, respectful, and fast to respond. They made a frustrating situation so easy and stress-free, supporting me at every step until everything was fully resolved.
It’s rare to experience such genuine care for customers. Even though my first order didn't reach me, this experience proved that HOKA is a brand you can truly trust. I will definitely be giving them another try in the future! A huge thank you to the whole team!

I have been buying HOKAs since they came to UK - only shoes i run in - god knows how many bought over the years. Currently have 9 pairs for mix of running and general use. Bought Cielo X 1 and upper so flimsy they're functionally useless and Hoka response was essentially "too bad". I bought from another retualer but as I am nt making a WARRANTY CLAIM, i reache dout to HOKA CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH WAS A JOKE. Kept telling me contact retailer despite me explaining repeatedly not a warranty claim - assumed they would say something like "sorry you had a bad experience - how can we make it right?" Instead keep telling to contact retailer...STILL DOING IT as per reply below

I bought Hoka shoes today from the shop at Manawa Bay in Manukau, Auckland. I was so impressed with the young salesman who I think was from Ukraine as he really knew his stuff and sold me exactly the width and size I needed for my feet problem. I will be sending others to experience his wonderful knowledge of your products.

I have been a loyal Hoka wearer for 4 years... but the Gaviota is JUNK and has stopped me from buying anything from Hoka again. Hoka has lost about $600 a year in sales from me if not more as I buy running and walking shoes several times per year. This is my 2nd pair of Gaviotas at $200 each and within 3 months they are useless despite only being used for walking! The padding in the heel area is junk quality and decomposes far too fast with the plastic heel cup getting exposed. Being as sharp as a knife, it cuts my achilles to shreds. I didn't pay $200 plus tax to be in agony when I walk and get open wounds on the back of my feet! This is a major design and manufacturing flaw that is easily fixable and many people complain of it. It just take a bit of investment in material quality and overall quality control. However, Hoka does nothing because of being profit- hungry. With over $400 wasted in 6 months, and many customers with this problem, Hoka has to do something or end up just another false prophet "has been"... a maker of for-profit junk like Puma and sketchers. Very disappointed in Hoka junk shoes.
Update:
Mia from Hoka says she can't do a thing and that I should go to the USA Team. What USA Team??? There is NO HOKA USA on Trustpilot that I can see!!! And tellingly the url being used here on Trustpilot and Facebook is www hoka.com which IS the USA and global url. This is simply a runaround and deflection of a known and serious problem and liability HOKA are avoiding for customers. Really bad character for Hoka.

Went online to buy a pair of shoes from Hoka, heard they were a good shoe when I found a pair I want went to check out. I found that they do not support military or veterans no discount nothing.
I would not recommend buying from them if they can’t support our veterans and our military.

Do not go near these guys. Shoes are not fit for purpose. The foam on the sole of one of the shoes has collapsed with minimal use and neither the retailer or manufacture are interested. 3 of my family member have all had issues with the soles on the clifton shoe failing and Hoka simply do not care.
I used their machine to asess my foot and buy a shoe that would be suitable for my feet, the recommended shoe sole failed after never even having been run in and only on 1 shoe. They claim its my biomechanics that's caused the foam to fail, without even seeing my foot and without considering that the shoe was the recommended shoe for my foot and gait... No other shoes have ever had this problem so I their shoes are clearly not fit for purpose.
Take your money elsewhere and buy shoes that are fit for purpose and from a company that is prepared to provide half decent customer service.

I stand and walk on concrete for 9 hours a day in my job so having the most comfortable shoes is very important. I’ve found nothing better than Hoka Bondi extra wide shoes until the last few pairs I’ve purchased. The price is crazy at $165 a pair but I was willing to pay it for comfort. The last 3 pairs I’ve had have broken down in 4 months time where I used to get almost a year out of them. I will no longer spend that kind of money for lesser quality and have switched to another brand. It’s disappointing.

Absolutely disappointed. After years of loyalty, I've realized Hoka's customer service is non-existent. You only get an AI chatbot, 'Maria,' who switches between Portuguese and English while giving completely useless, incorrect advice. Shame on Hoka for reaching this low point. Never again

I bought the Hoka Mach 6 Road Running shoes from REI in Bellevue, WA less than a year ago, and the heel collar fabric on both shoes has already torn and frayed badly — not what I'd expect from a premium running shoe. What's more frustrating is this isn't the first time: my previous pair of Hokas had the exact same problem and I am seeing other customers making similar complains, so at this point it feels like a real quality control issue rather than bad luck. Love the comfort and ride, but I can't justify paying this much for shoes that don't hold up. Hoka, please look into this.

DECKERS brand (HOKA) does not stand by their product. After 6 months of wearing their shoe the front sole started to come apart and when I reached out to the company regarding the warranty, and sent them pictures of the defective sole and lack of workmanship they stated that it does not meet the qualifications specifically, “this warranty does not cover defects arising from normal wear and tear, misuse, product alteration, or negligence.” I would not buy this product ever again. For the price of $155 a pair I would expect a company to stand by their product. Many companies make a comparable or better shoe for that price or cheaper. Do your research.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with HOKA’s customer service and product durability. I purchased three pairs of HOKA shoes because I genuinely loved the comfort and performance of the brand, and I regularly recommended them to others. Unfortunately, two out of the three pairs developed the same issue where the back of the heel completely ripped apart, making the shoes unusable.
I reached out to HOKA for assistance, hoping they would stand behind their product and help address what appears to be a repeated durability issue. Unfortunately, because the shoes were purchased from a retailer that HOKA does not consider an authorized retailer, they refused to provide any warranty support or assistance, despite the fact that I own multiple pairs and experienced the same failure more than once.
I understand that companies have policies, but it is disappointing that a brand I supported and recommended so highly was unwilling to help when there was a clear quality concern with the product itself. If you purchase HOKA shoes, be aware that where you buy them may determine whether the company will stand behind the product, even if you are experiencing a legitimate issue with the shoes.

Bought W Gaviota due to Dicks Sporting Goods being out of Bondi’s. After first night working in ICU with new sneakers I starting having severe back pain, on second night could barely walk. Had to call out sick and rest next night. My mom called and said she had a friend that had a similar experience and after doing an MRI it was the sneakers. Same situation here. Called HOKA customer service- useless and does not stand behind their product but gladly take your money. Google HOKA shoes and back and leg pain.

Yep delivered very quickly 24hrs as opposed to Mizuno who took 11days. That's it now, have my compliment of trainers so will persist with unsubscribing...however like all brands, shirts, shoes etc I know you will plague my inbox as its a no cost solution...except for my time and memory capacity!

On July 12, 2026, I paid $209.05 for a pair of women's Transport 2 sneakers and instead received a $65 pair of men's slides I never ordered. I was then told that, as a condition of receiving my own refund, I had to personally drive to a UPS location and wait to return Hoka's mistake.
This was entirely Hoka's error, yet resolving it has fallen entirely on me.
1. The support chatbot was not helpful and repeatedly told me I needed to return the shoes I was sent.
2. I then called customer support and was on and off hold for 35 minutes. No manager was available, and I was told someone would call me back.
3. When the callback came, the only options presented were: (1) treat the shipment as a return: physically returning the wrong item in order to receive my full refund, plus a 20% discount on a future purchase; or (2) treat it as an exchange for another item. The only alternative to driving to UPS myself was scheduling a UPS home pickup, at my own cost.
At no point was I offered the obvious resolution, a refund, or the correct item Hoka was responsible for sending, without first making me spend time, travel, and money to correct Hoka's error.
I would also note that the 20% discount roughly equals the $34.05 I already paid in shipping and tax on this order.
To recover my own money, I drove 30 minutes round trip, paid for gas, and waited over an hour at UPS to return an item I never ordered.
This is not a return or an exchange. It is Hoka conditioning my refund on my willingness to fix the company's shipping error myself, at my own cost in time, travel, and money.
Every other retailer I have dealt with in a similar situation has apologized and immediately issued a refund or shipped the correct item, without requiring the customer to fix the company's mistake first.
I have loved the Hoka brand, but without a meaningful resolution to this matter, this will absolutely be my last purchase from Hoka.
