Worst service ever

Worst service ever. If I could give it a negative star I would. I searched for pet friendly hotels for my wife, myself and my dog. This web site popped up with pet friendly hotels. I drove 7-1/2 to the hotel to find out they do not accept pets! The hotel manager said they would not charge me for the hotel room but that did not stop HotelStorm from charging me for the hotel. I just called the hotel again and they haven't charge my account. Now I have to go thru a awful system to get my money back from HotelStorm.

Do NOT use this hotel reserve site

Do NOT use this hotel reserve site! They are scam artists and thugs.
Mistakes that you may make or for changes to reservations could be resolved in 24 hours or less but they want to drag the process out for God knows how long! They will take your money but never refund even for a 1 day change! Stay away! Wish I could give them zero stars.

Scam Artists and Liars

Beware, do not use this company at all (if you can call it a company). I had to cancel because of my Mother passing. I gave them everything they asked for and more through email and they still did not cancel even when the hotel said they would cancel if they would have called. They say they called but continued to lie as the hotel had no record of ever receiving a phone call. Out $1400.00 dollars. Their phone number does not work either. How convenient as I should have figured this out from the start. They are scam artists! Stay far away! Gone to the BBB for formal complaint and got a lawyer.

I booked what I thought was the perfect…

I booked what I thought was the perfect little getaway for New Years. they tell you this song and dance on how you are saving $$ etc. on a world class resort and ticket package. The hotel was dingy and had roaches, (worse than any 2 star hotel I have been in) and the ticket packages (supposedly included fast pass) but none of the attractions had fast pass on them so I overpaid! I called them for a refund because of all the complaints and they just said that I should've done my due dilligence to complain to the front desk! How are they gonna correct roaches in my room and damp sheets that weren't dried? I paid over 1200 of my hard earned money and my kids didn't get christmas presents in order to do this!

Booked the wrong night

Booked the wrong night, within 10 min. I realized it. Called them to try exchange for the next night. Forget it. Instead of saving $5. it cost me $62.00.For nothing. I was on another site and their offer came up, to steer me away.
They said It would take several hours to know so re booked the correct night, thinking they make it work. Email came, no.

I was wrong about them.

Just booked a hotel for 10/18/2019 through 10/21/2019, but the website booked me for only the night of 10/14/2019. I called to changed the reservation, but they said they had to have their IT department investigate it before anything could be changed. I called the hotel and they said they didn't have a reservation for me. I tried to dispute this with my credit card company, but they can't do anything because it's currently pending and not an actual charge. I may end up eating this.

UPDATE: I sent HotelStorm a screen shot of the page right before I placed the order to show them it was right. I got a note two days later reading, "Our IT team investigated your user last searches and determined that there was a website error. We have proceeded to refund your reservation in full. Please expect 3 to 7 working days to receive your money back to your credit card."

TERRIBLE

TERRIBLE, TERRIBLE SERVICE! This is the WORST company to deal with. I believe their entire premise is to change some detail of your reservation, so it APPEARS correct, then once its purchased, you have no recourse. I believe this is the worst company I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. I would NOT use this company ever again, and would warn anyone asking to avoid it all costs as well.

If I could rate them below a -3 I…

If I could rate them below a -3 I would. I booked a room for 4 nights at Homewood Suites (HWS) Bloomington, MN (by the Mall of America), specifically because I have stayed there before. When I did a google search for it, Wiki Buy came up with and offer from HotelStorm that was supposed to be cheaper than what I was seeing I could get the room. So, I booked it. I travel a lot and I trusted that all was well. I got my confirmation from HotelStorm and it stated for HWS-Bloomington. Mind you I booked this reservation about 3 weeks in advance.

The day before I was expected to be in Minnesota, I received a reminder from HotelStorm saying that my reservation for HWS - Bloomington IN was ready. What! I read it again and notice that they had booked me for the wrong location. This was not my fault because I was at the Mall of America HWS website (Bloomington, MN) when I was prompted by HotelStorm via Wiki buy that they would give me the better room rate at HWS MN for a lot cheaper price. The system or employee screwed up and now I don’t have a room and headed to MN. So I call customer service and it was located in the PHILLIPINES and argued back and forth with the people who had no Ideal geographical what was the mistake. I was very frustrated and irritated. It was not until I stated that I would give HotelStorm a bad rating and "bring them down", that an American technical support person name Sean got on the phone from Chicago and said he would look into the issue. It took them almost a week and a half to give me all my money back. They wanted to keep $75 and I said I want all my money back or I will write a nastygram to all service support industry review agencies for travel. The director at the HWS hotel in Bloomington IN, was very apologetic and told me that they would refund all the money back to HotelStorm. I told HotelStorm this, so there was no reason for them to delay in refunding me all my money. HotelStorm took their time refunding all my money to me. The are a joke and don’t believe WikiBuy for hotels.

Lastly, I was stranded. Now I was headed to MN, with no hotel reservation and at the time I was out nearly $500. So I had to come up with another $500 and find a hotel in MN. Fortunately, HWS in MN, had a room that was cheaper than what HotelStorm was offering previously. This is a poorly ran company, with an offshore support team. They don’t care about the customer, just there ratings and the money the potentially are making off consumers. I will never ever use HotelStorm again, and I probably will not ever use Wiki buy for hotel setups either. If you are smart, take heed to my words, “stay far away from HOTELSTORM”.

Total Scam

These people are total scam artists. They change the date of booking right before you purchase and then even worse than refusing to reimburse/modify the reservation - they drag you along telling you they “are waiting for manager approval” and ultimately tell you “the hotel manager has decided not to refund” which is untrue as I spoke to her myself and she said they will wave the fee. Avoid using them at all cost as they steal your time, money, and patience.

Read the reviews everyone, do NOT use this company. You will lose your money!

I would give this company no stars if I could. I've booked through Expedia, Priceline, Kayak, etc. I thought I would give this company a try since it was suggested through Wikibuy and I have been using that as an extension (which after this, I will reconsider).

Brenda Lee, Brian and the rest of the responses here are SPOT ON. I somehow "accidentally" booked the wrong date. It is my fault though, for not looking at it closer upon confirmation.

If you search for your booking dates on Google and then click to be directed onto their site. HotelStorm WILL CHANGE YOUR DATE. I, of course, made the mistake of not double-checking the date after I confirmed my payment. It wasn't until after the confirmation receipt I realized it was one day ahead of the day I originally wanted to book.

When you call them or even if you decide to cancel online through your account, they will:

A) tell you they called the hotel you booked and the hotel refused to cancel your reservation

OR

B) tell you they can "try" to refund you but they will take $75 as a fee. This is not listed anywhere under their refund condition when they send you a confirmation.

I called the hotel that I was booking for and they said the third party company sends a "virtual credit card number" to the hotel. Therefore, the hotel company cannot cancel a reservation with this virtual card. In order to cancel it, I booked a reservation through the hotel directly and got pretty much the same rate and the hotel said they will cancel my other charge with HotelStorm.

As of right now, we're going to contact HotelStorm to get our money back for the second time. I will dispute the charge with my credit card company if need be.

Please and I reiterate as much as I can through this online review, please do not use this site. Save your money and find another reliable/trustworthy travel site or just simply book through the hotel itself.

It's not worth the hassle to save a little money.

Safe travels everyone.

I used an app through T-Mobile Tues…

I used an app through T-Mobile Tues Appreciation rewards.

Their webpage kept changing the dates on the reservation I wanted. I didn’t realize they had changed the dates yet again, until I read my receipt.

I just so happened to already be at the Hotel, and wanted to extend my stay, so I made the reservation while I was still there. I would had made them directly with the Hotel but they told me I had to go through the third party reservations.

I contacted them, and they sent back email, claiming the Hotel wouldn’t allow me to change it. That turned out to be a lie.

I went down to the desk and asked the Manager if he would allow it. He said no problem. The Manager asked me to phone them while I was there at the desk, so I did so. Their Representative got rude with me, when I explained I just spoke with the Manager, and explained he had not said he wasn’t willing, and that they had lied about the situation. While I was arguing with the Representative from the booking agency, he motioned for me to hand him the phone. I did, and they began to argue. The Manager said just cancel the reservation and he would charge me directly. The female Representative on the phone got very rude with the Manager, so he asked to speak with her Supervisor. She hung up!

I then paid the Manager of the Hotel directly and called my Credit Card Co to Dispute the Charges.

The ppl from the Hotel Booking Agency sent me several emails, saying they “Couldn’t Refund my fees. Then they tried to get me to agree to letting them returning my funds, if they could keep $75. I said no, they didn’t provide the service and therefore didn’t deserve the fees.

Right now everything is pending. But when I found this site, I sent them a copy of it, and told them that it would go a long way in proving my case. If they put those charges through, then I’ve paid twice for the same room for two nights.

I’m considering suing them. I went there for a few de-stressor days. My husband had previously passed away from a long illness, and I was exhausted. I had just finished dealing with the SSA Office and Veterans Affairs. Talk about stressful. Anyway, they sure ruined that rest.

If anybody wants to consider a class action against them, and can prove your case leave me a comment on here.

UPDATE!!! I stood my ground with them. I c/p other complaints that reflected the same issues I was having with them.. I Finally got a full refund.. Stand Your Ground. They’re making a fortune at this They want for Ppl to get frustrated and just walk away. Report them to the BBB, and Attorney General’s Office with Consumer Affairs. This is a scam, and this Co is operating under different names.

I’m still rebounding from my ordeal, both with them, and the loss of my Husband, I’m still considering a lawsuit against them. If anybody is interested I’m going to set up a separate email address and you can contact me there. I’ll post it here.

Stand your ground..

Switch in Dates of Stay....almost booked the wrong dates

The same happened to me as another reviewed...I was happy to find a discount for my stay...and went all the way through to clicking on the AMEX card when I realized that they had changed the dates of the stay...and I was booking for a time I did not need.

This is reason to. not only distrust The HotelStorm but Wikibuy.....never. again...

Never do business with HotelStorm

Never do business with HotelStorm - they are more interested in taking your money and running.

Here is the sequence of events:

1. I go to Hotel.com and do a search in my destination for my dates
2. I pick a Marriott room
3. I am prompted by Wikibuy that I can get the same room at something like 20% off
4. I click that link - which takes me to HotelStorm
5. What I failed to notice was that your site adopted different dates for the stay. Of course, why would the site offer the same room at a lower price for different days without making that much more explicit. And yes, I should have noticed this.
6. I proceeded to confirm the reservation
7. Upon confirmation, I immediately notice that the dates were wrong
8. I canceled immediately noting "wrong dates" as the rationale
9. I get an email acknowledging cancelation and am told to wait to learn about a refund
10. The next day I get another email stating that the Marriott won't refund.

Hotelstorm will never get my business.
