Completely flawless service from Josh Vers' team at Howells Solicitors. I have recommended them to others at every opportunity! We have had a complicated sale of our flat with all sorts of problems coming up - fire safety regulations, multiple Section 20s, time-wasting buyers, sick buyers, you name it.. The only silver lining throughout it all was knowing that Josh's team were on the case. During the prolonged 2-year ordeal, we have not needed to chase up anything at all on our end - I have never encountered such an efficient legal team. They are so well-organised, professional and responsive. They really have gone above and beyond. We also used them for our house purchase, and would choose them every time again in the future. Friends have also used Josh Vers' team following our recommendations and have had an equally perfect experience.

We recently used Howells for the sale of our house and purchase of our new home. To say the transaction became complicated would be an understatement!

We had issues higher up the chain, changing completion dates, school application pressures and a lot of uncertainty at times. Throughout the process Eleanor was always on hand to provide updates, chase solicitors and keep things moving.

What stood out was how approachable and supportive she was. We always felt informed and knew she was doing everything she could behind the scenes, even when delays were outside anyone's control.

I'm sure we weren't always the easiest clients given how keen we were to get moved, but Eleanor was always patient, professional and helpful.

We're now moved in and loving our new home, so a huge thank you to Eleanor and everyone at Howells for helping us get over the line.

Super simple process. Josh Vers and his team communicated clearly, acted swiftly and dug into the detail when required. Plenty of flexibility, I managed to get half of things done whilst out of the country with work. Low drag and low stress, some signs of a really competent organisation.

I recently sold my house and bought a new one, using Howells on my estate agent's recommendation. Beth handled both our sale and purchase.

Our original purchase fell through after all the reports had been completed, and we had to find a new property and move at twice the pace to stop the chain collapsing. Beth did brilliant work to make that happen — without her support in pivoting to the new property, the chain would have fallen apart.

Beth was amazing throughout our house purchase. She replied quickly via email or calls, kept us well informed, and explained every stage of the process in a way that was easy to understand — professional from start to finish.

Where she really stood out was in the final weeks. The buyers' solicitors were, in my opinion, extremely difficult to deal with — combative in tone, unwilling to negotiate, and even threatening to pull out of the sale two weeks before completion to get their own way.

Situations that genuinely riled me up, but Beth remained composed throughout and was a genuinely calming influence. Time and again, a single conversation with her would completely change how I felt about the situation, specifically in the last few weeks of the process before signing of contracts Beth's guidance was what helped it across the line.

Difficult sale, but stayed committed

They were really helpful with selling and buying my new home they explained everything to me kept me up to date with paperwork and were very helpful with all the forms that have to be filled in and I would like to thank Sara who helped me so much I highly recommend you use these solicitors and ask for Sara she has a lovely telephone manner and nothing was to much trouble for her thankyou again Sara.
