Many thanks to Drew for his support on resolving deposit issues on post tenant departure. His work prevented it from reaching dispute through strong negotiations with landlord and tenant.

Having just exchanged, I wanted to praise the Ashby De La Zouch Howkins and Harrison. They made everything as easy as possible, and could not have been more helpful. Especially Jackie who was brilliant throughout and gave us great communication and advice. Would highly recommend for listing your property.

We saw a prospective property on-line advertised via H&H on Monday 3rd Nov am, we call the Bridge St branch asap and spoke to Jessica Hunt Sales Negotiator, straight away Jessica was professional and clear with her communication.
Jessica managed to obtain us to viewing of the property later that day. The viewing went ahead as planned,we were greeted by Jessica at the house, she was welcoming and knowledgeable and made experience pleasurable.
The following morning we decided to make an offer and through negotiations via Jessica we secured the property, all within 24hours.

After a very poor experience with another local firm I then tried Howkins & Harrison after a recommendation.
My call was answered very quickly & a home visit occurred the next day. We required a valuation for probate which we had verbally on day of visit & written quotation the very next day. Lauren the Sales Manager provided a friendly, professional & helpful service making sure all our queries were answered, which was very much appreciated at this hard time. Although the moving itself is stressful Howkins and Harrison made it seem less with their part. Drew was also helpful in managing the property as it was already well maintained and got help from him whenever it was needed. Really appreciate the assistance.

I purchased a flat through Howkins and Harrison, and during the purchase process I asked for, and was repeatedly given, confirmation both verbally and writing by them that the existing hot water cylinder had been serviced and that there were no outstanding repair or maintenance issues. This was not true.

Howkins and Harrison were aware that the hot water cylinder was damaged and was not working properly at the time I completed the purchase of the flat, but said nothing. I employed a plumber to make several repairs to the cylinder which eventually revealed that the hot water cylinder was damaged beyond repair and needed to be replaced, at a cost of over £2000.

Howkins and Harrison offered to pay just over 25% of the cost of the new cylinder, which I, of course, rejected. Instead, I filed a county court action against Howkins and Harrison for the full cost. Howkins and Harrison did not offer ANY defence and admitted the claim in full.

Howkins and Harrison actively deceived me about the true condition of the hot water cylinder during the purchase process. They are unprofessional, untrustworthy liars.

I recently completed my move-out process and had the pleasure of working with Drew Stewart from Howkins & Harrison. I’m incredibly grateful for the professional, courteous, and efficient support he provided throughout.
Drew made what could have been a stressful experience feel seamless. From coordinating final inspections to handling paperwork and liaising with the landlord, everything was managed with precision and care. His communication was clear and timely, and he was always willing to go the extra mile to ensure everything was wrapped up properly.
