Huobi 

This is a Chinese exchange considered to be TIER-1 in some ratings but I think it's quite lower than that...
I didn't have any problems but just the interface of this exchange is not in my taste and it's laggy sometimes

This was my first time investing in Bitcoin. This company by the name of Huobi Global Exchange are scamming peoples hard earned money and not receiving their profits. Asking for more to make more but when it came time to withdraw you had to pay fees and still no progress and they don't answer any of the emails.

Huobi is not an honest company. I got hacked for over $100k usd.
They'll tell you they'll help if you have the police contact them. They won't.
Then they'll tell you to call the FSA Seychelles, but they're just as corrupt.
Then they'll keep telling you that over and over again for hundreds of emails. You can keep resending them the proof that you've already done it. They'll pretend you didn't send it, and continue to run you around from dept to dept.
They'll break their own User Agreement to protect illicit deposits, and they'll continue to accept payments from a wallet even after they know it's a hacker.
I've been chasing the money for a year now. Justin Sun is a total crooked goof.

On 4-11-2022, I made a purchase of 1,375,479 GALA via the Huobi Crypto platform, spending around 50,000 USD based on the current price. I transferred the coins to an external cold wallet, only to discover that the GALA tokens sold by Huobi were actually Ptokens Gala - a different coin with the same name and logo, produced by a third-party on another blockchain. As a result, the value of my purchase has plummeted to almost zero. Despite multiple attempts to contact Huobi via email and telegram, they have failed to respond or offer a refund for the fraudulent transaction. It's worth noting that the token I received has been hacked by its own team, and Huobi failed to halt trading on the coin in time to prevent this from happening. It's likely that they were aware of the attack and chose to exploit it by selling worthless coins instead of the real ones. Overall, my experience with Huobi has been extremely disappointing and I would advise others to steer clear of this platform.

I have been scammed by a company called Bitech Max who are now trading as Robertson Rayner and after two traces I find my funds and others are being deposited by them to Huobi. In fact in one day in Jasnuary 2023 the scammers deposited 2 million USDT in one transaction. I have been in contact with Huobi with lots of evidence in fact damning evidence and Huobi have said they cant do anything for me without a binding court order which is disgusting as Huobi are facilitating criminals by laundering their stolen crypto. I reached out to Huobi over five days ago to receive a response today saying about the court order. I want my stolen crypto returned as its with Huobi and Huobi should stop facilitating criminals if evidence is produced or at least they should look into it properly but like most things these days profit and greed is before morals! I am in a desperate situation as it was my life savings/pension that was stolen.

Deceitful trading platform, unreliable, lots of fake coins added without the consent of the developers, lots of wash trading (fake trading) to confuse their costumers to jump in and spend $, stay away from this platform! do not waste your hard earaned money!

This is an absolute waste of space. They have no clue how to assess documents. Pathetic useless service. Don’t waste your time.

Scam, they created an etf with name eth*3, i bought it and suddenly they delisted it with all the money gone, you can't delist a self made coin that doesn't exist on any other exchange and you cant transfer it anywhere else, all the people money were lost... bunch of scammers

Huobi is a total scam I lost 55 million floki there log in system creates a minefield to get into to your account then your crypto disappears please avoid this exchange is not what it appears to be !!!!!!!!!!!

beware of email spams from huobi, my email is always clean from spams like for 10 years, after joining huobi, my inbox are filled with random spams like AIRDROP NFTs all the while. in that case, they also spams newsletter without the unsubscribe option, for example email domain from pro.huobi.vn etc. in the other words, they sells your information. take it serious just incase if you dont like your personal detail being exposed.

No liquidity yet you can x200. Not used them but the infrastructure is bound to fail. Look at the volumes on btc/usdt from 1 to 6m on the 24h. That's peanuts. Even if your trade at x200 comes in, they haven't got the doe. It's like putting money in a slot machine without any quarters in it. Use Bybit, Binance, kucoin or any other top broker and accept the fees. Get a trading journal and project your trades and manage your risk. CHECK YOUR COUNTRIES LAW ON CRYPTO BEFORE DEPOSITING. Tada

There is no customer service. Never give your email address. They are sending spam mails constantly. No unsubscribe option.

Don’t try their P2P services. Is a scam and their customer service is useless in solving the dispute. The seller never release the asset.

Trigger orders do not always work. Due to the fault of the exchange, transactions did not take place. To which they replied "we're sorry". This is disrespectful attitude towards customers. Large trading commissions, which will always be charged, work properly here.
Look for another exchange where they value their customers.

I was doing P2P trading with Houbi for a while (maybe 6 mons), I was trading/posting frequently except last month wherein i was inactive. On 17 July there was this one seller who sold me me his crypto. After I paid the seller using his provided payment info, he claimed that he has not received the payment. I raised a dispute and provided valid video proof, conversation, receipts, emails from bank support on multiple occasions confirming the successful transfer of funds, the seller would just deny receiving the payment and Huobi will just then see it as my responsibility to again talk to my bank. I mean Huobi support can't determine who's trying to scam who. This is what's happening righ now, bank confirms funds received, seller denies, bank confirms funds received, seller denies, bank confirms funds received, seller denies. It's been in this non-sense cycle for almost 2 weeks now.
It's easy being scammed in this exchange, all the other party has to do is deny the receipt of your payment and you're screwed. This serves as a warning for anyone who plans to register with Huobi, STAY AWAY FROM HUOBI unless you want to waste your money and time talking to their support.
If any of Huobi employee's reading this now, here's the transaction number 998110193416384512 in case you think I'm just making this thing up.

Update: it's more than 3 weeks now, it's still not resolved. Still going around in circles. Support says the seller has provided a proof but seller claims he could not find the telegram channel of Houbi to send his proof. This is the most incompetent support I have ever known. How did Houbi support even claim to receive an updated video if the seller could not even connect to Huobi support in telegram?

Update 2: A lot of emails of useless repetitive instructions from Huobi. A simple ticket took them 40 days to resolve.

Conclusion: Worst customer support. If you value your money and time, go somewhere else. If you're a scammer, this is the place to be.

Customer service is very bad on P2P appeals, Binance solve problems in seconds
