Huobi 

I want to write a review after using this brilliant exchange. Really so good one, deposit and withdrawal so quick, real market prices and real volume of crypto. So easy to use their wallet to deposit and withdraw, also from time to time there are primelists. I made more than 50 withdraw and deposit and no one pended. I have a KYC from the first day, not lagging platform. The only drawback I see on houbi rightnow is that some POW crypto are not there unfortunately, I hope that they will add it with time and don't support ETH on matic network (weth) until now. Problems on various exchanges I read always from people who do not want to complete KYC, also from people that they lost their 2FA. Bad reviews always come from people that do not know nothing about cryptocurrencies and exchanges.

It says on the site and app, unverified can withdraw .06 BTC per day.

But when you try to withdraw it says,
"Transfer and withdrawal are not supported for your account temporarily. You can apply for the lifting of coin withdrawal limit, and the staff will complete the processing within 1-3 working days."

They keep giving you the run around and never verify your account. They want documents of ID and screenshots and pictures, and too much hassle just to withdraw money you deposited. And they keep rejecting everything you upload, even if valid.

So why say that unverified can withdraw?

MUST READ! I broke my phone years ago and could not login because of 2fa. After WEEKS of mail contact they keep asking me the same questions over and over again. Finally I FOUND MY 2FA RECOVERY KEY AND THEY STILL WOULD NOT UNBIND THE OLD 2FA!!!! They are scammers! All my coins gone! You can't trust them

Huobi will spam you messages to your phone number and you cant do anything with it. Deleting account made hard way.

Don’t try their p2p service. It is a big scam. Have been waiting for almost a week now for my funds. Support either ignores me or tells me to be patient.

Cant get access to my EUR deposit since three weeks. Support team is useless just keep telling me to be patient. Dont trust Huobi and choose other platform

I too have had/am having a very bad experience with this company.

The company actively encourages and enables deposits of GBP without any problem - but once the deposit is made you are unable to trade with or withdraw your funds.

As Michael and Steven stated in their reviews below - when i also tried to trade, i got the initial response that my account was not verified. When i proved to them that it was in fact a verified account, i then got the message that uk transactions (trade or withdrawal) were not allowed due to a UK restriction

My question is this - WHY ALLOW ME TO DEPOSIT "GBP"IF I THEN CANNOT TRADE OR WITHDRAW THE FUNDS DUE TO RESTRICTIONS???

So far, it has been a several weeks of emails back and forth with an inconsistent and ever changing team of CS assistants who have been of no help because my funds are still sitting in the company's account and i am unable to get it back.

If you are based in the UK **DO NOT** use this company as you will lose your funds.

I will now review and seek to contact all the other people on this platform who have lost money or have money sitting in Huobi's account, with a view to bringing a potential claim of fraudulent behaviour against the company.

I know their team reviews these messages and i hope to hear back asap because (behaviour like this is totally unacceptable) and so far the online CS team and the telegram admins have been unable to help. Also, all my back and forth emails seem to be a waste of time.

1) Bad communication
2) Each time you should upload your photo with ID with handwritten message what do you need to do. Annoying!
3) If you tried to delete your account - it's impossible, they write: "Your account was opened less than month, it's impossible to cancel your account"

Great exchange! with good promotions

I saw a Huobi promotion on twitter for a new coin that required you transfer in a certain amount of funds to be eligible to participate.

So I set up an account and transferred in the funds. But on the day I suddenly got a pop up saying I was ineligible because I was in Australia.

There was no mention of this restriction in any of the documents I read about the offer.

I feel this is basically just a bait-and-deny ruse to get people to sign up and transfer funds in.

They will let you register and deposit without any KYC however when you reach a certain threshold they will put a FREEZE on the account and force you to verify.
After that, they will ask for proof of funds for certain deposits because they deem them as "SUSPICIOUS".

Even after proving the source, they will continue to harass you for more and more 'screenshots' (in broken english as well) until you give up on them.

BE wary - they are not licensed and you will need LEGAL help in order to recover your funds. I am still fighting with them to release my money.
STAY AWAY FROM CEXES - I tell you with all my heart - only use officially licensed exchanges or more preferably Decentralized ones. You don't want to go through the same route as I am now.

I will post my situation to every social media site (reddit,twitter,forums) because I think that is the only way I can have my money back - through public pressure.

Huobi are a bunch of scammers, and thieves, ONLY deposit your assets if you want to lose them, and get them STOLEN, they keep asking for all this id/verification which I have done, and still they will not release my assets. I have various other accounts with no problems. STAY CLEAR

Avoid, non-existent assistance, only automatic replies, very dubious management, you can't even register with the documents, they want to cash only on exchange, fast cash

THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER. I am a new customer and deposited some USDT to the HUOBI's exchange wallet which never arrived. It has been 2 weeks and they are keep asking me to make videos of the records. I have sent over 3 videos and snapshots of all the transfer information. They still keep asking me to make more videos. It is insane that they cant simply see the transaction hash and confirm that the deposit did not arrive to the exchange wallet. Terrible terrible service. Lets hope my USDT either gets deposited to my account or gets returned. But, I dont think after their this much drama I can recommend the exchange. I shall update the review once the issue is resolved otherwise another review on all platforms.

They are scammer. They don't accept some specific country's documents for verification but they want those documents for deleting account. This is the reason people over the world don't like and trust Chinese.

I find out the hard way that on huobi futures, trigger order doesn't necessarily provide you 100% guarantee that your trigger order (either take profit or stop loss) will go through. If the market suddenly has a fluctuation with huge price movement, your triggered order will get triggered but if no buyer price is matched it will be parked under limit order. (eg. In a short position, you placed a trigger stop loss at $10 but due to sudden spike of price movement from $8 to $15, your trigger order will be triggered but due to the sudden spike of price and there wasn't enough of buyer at $10 against the amount of seller. Thus huobi future will automatically park your triggered order under limit order of $10 but the price has already way went past up to $15, causing unnecessary lose of extra $5.) Contact customer service all they can say or repeat is that huobi cant guarantee 100% of the orders and not providing a solution that can help. Basically if youre doing futures on Huobi, i guess you just have to look at the price movement 24/07. At least have a system where if my $10 trigger order cant be match, match it on the next best bid price.

Worst company ever. I signed up, had not even verified my account before I got a bunch of spam from unknown numbers and third party companies. Am in the process of getting my account deleted and they request ID and rejected my request to close MY OWN ACCOUNT asking for further evidence. What a scam and a total waste of time. Trash.

My money was stolen from Huobi wallet, some people write me in wats app to start using Huobi then they ask me to put more and more money to wallet, then it just gone. People, please read it be carefuly, please don't use Huobi its a SCAM platform

Terrible platform, customer service does not speak English, they use a translator and come up with weird things while chatting to them, it takes longer than 10 mins for response even it's a live chat
