I have tried all known cryptocurrency trading platforms, and have long chosen Huobi for its robustness, security, and speed. The support really is very expeditious. The commissions are a bit high if you are not a regular trader, they should change that. But really Huobi and Huobi Wallet are great

Joined exchange, registered, passed KYC, and wanted to pass conditions to get 170$

Huobi - worst case experience. I send some tokens to Huobi. They have different coin names. So I sent HOT from one exchange to the other. HOT at Huobi is not HOLO but Hydrogen something. So far, so good, my mistake. That was 16 days ago. And of course customer service is always a challenge, but Huobi brings it to a completly new level. The Helpdesk is useless, they only refer to "a specialist" will contact you. When? Be patient! After maybe 3-5 days you get a BOT mail that they need information. If you are on day 10 or 15 you have provided this information like 3-5 times. That is a Video, the wallet address, the ID - they did not take my blood samples and DNA, but they always asked for the same stuff over and over again. Lets say you might make progress and you get the same link from the SPECIALIST bot again. It will say you need to pay 0.04 ETH for Transaction (fine) and disclose a wrong Wallet adress (not fine). So good luck with ever getting your coins back. And if you think this is my personal experience, check their telegram group. I have talked to people with like 40, 60 and even longer periods playing that game. Of course you can chat with "Esther" at the Helpdesk every day. But you will always end with the magic "SPECIALIST". So in short. I guess it is fraud, they dont want to clean up their settlenent accounts and keep the tokens. Thats my opinion. and sorry for that, but I post this no on every review platform else I will never get any further to my tokens but talking to the Helpdesk Esther Bot or THE SPECIALIST Bot. I have the strange hope, that Huobi does not like to have their name listed with FRAUD everywhere. But keeping property of other and not returning assets is fraud, or illegal, or a crime or whatever. So afte posting this everywhere, I will need to pay a lawyer - a dream. HUOBI FRAUD :-)

They only operate with Scammers and Criminals, hiding their money there to be use in Criminal proceedings. Police, FBI, Action Fraud UK and Banks scanning their business to recover peoples funds.

I am a UK based customer. The first time I used this site no problem. The second time and it looks like I've lost my funds for good. I have provided them with my passport details. A verification photo and I still can't withdraw. Clearly a disreputable company. I only lost £60 but it could be much worse for others. My advice AVOID AVOID AVOID

I have a fully verified account, KYC all done properly. Also I have been using this exchange for months now and never had any issue.. now recently I deposited some ETH and suddenly they decided to suspend all my withdrawal options and asked me to justify that the funds a legal.
I sent them screenshots and records from my other verified account where I purchase the ETH, also fully verified account, and they stopped replying me for 7 days now.
Every morning I contact their live chat, but they always say the same thing: "sorry for the inconvenience, you will get a reply within 24 hours", and I never get any reply...
Please, anyone has a solution to my issue ? Is it a good idea to hire a lawyer in this case ?

Yo they let you deposit, then try some SNAKEY kyc bs on you before they let you withdraw. I didnt even KYC i joined the telegram and kicked off and joined lived chat and kicked off.

the live chat just says "please check back later" to questions like "is anyone even responding?"

The telegram is your best bet if you've found yourself being robbed by these guys.

I threatened them with with HMRC, the SEC, and the international financial onbudsman (which is obviously all bs)

I got my BTC back and im never logging into that shady exchange again.

One BIG fraud STAY AWAY !!! I deposited 0.04 BTC from Binance. When getting the deposit address of bitcoin in my huobi account, they asked me what network to use, I chose ERC20. Now they lost my transaction. After 48h they came back to me stating that they didn't support the token, I deposited. BTC !!!!!! Of course they do. My BTC was transformed into BTTC, while they give options to use the ERC20 network for the deposit. Support now told me that they don't?? You offer something but if you use it, you loose your money. Now they are willing to investigate for 0.04eth per transaction (it takes 12 for a deposit). I send BTC from Binance, so I have all the numbers, still they come with crap. One BIG fraud STAY AWAY !!!

I read most of the comments in here and the way I see it, it is more of technical issues that the users were not used to.

I have created an account with Houbi just 3 days ago and already din deposits and withdrawals several times and I didn't get any problem or issue.

I tried sending to a wallet address on Huobi, which was confirmed by Coinbase, Huobi lost it and then when I tried to contact support, I was trapped in an endless loop of automated messages. When I finally got through to support on the chat after 3 hours of trying, I was away from my computer for exactly 2 minutes and they closed the chat!! The cheek! I don't believe they ever had the intention of fixing my problem. PLEASE AVOID!

They have so many scams, but don't have Peercoin - first POS cripto :)

Support doesn't really answer questions, instead seems to use pre-defined templates which are not very helpful and stops responding completely when asked for clarification. In my case this results in not being able to access my funds, which is a worst case scenario with a crypto exchange.

this is the worst crypto exchange. I have a fully verified account, KYC all done properly. Also I used it in the past, now recently I transferred some eth to huobi and they don´t let me withdraw anything. I sent them screenshots from my other verified account where I purchase the eth, also fully verified using my regular bank account, screen shots from my bank account making the transaction, every day I have to send them something new already for more than 7 days. Hopeless. It is just robbery.

ONE STAR BECAUSE SUPPORT IS LOW, YOU CANNOT EVEN GIVE A TICKET THAT MAKES SENSE, YOU HAVE THEIR OPTIONS THAT ARE BUNCH OF GIBBERISH (at least for beginner users) SO YOU CANNOT REALLY MAKE A SUPPORT! ZEC WITHRAW NOT POSSIBLE AGAIN, EXCEEDS MAXIMUM LIMT AND IT WAS 3.5 ZEC ONLY WITH KYC!
