Stayed at Lanzarote Park. Lovely staff, hotel well appointed, prestige is marvellous. However terrible ‘entertainment’, tone deaf caterwauling every night. Please stop! Ruins our holiday, we come... See more

Excellent Service and Memorable Stay at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote
I recently had the pleasure of staying at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with the service and amenities provided. From the moment we arrived, the staff were warm, welcoming, and accommodating.
The lady who took and advised on our initial booking was extremely helpful and patient in answering all our queries. Marek at the reception was also very courteous and efficient in checking us in and making us feel at home. The housekeeper we encountered during our stay was so friendly and went out of her way to make sure we had everything we needed.
The food served at the hotel was exceptional, and the chefs and food station staff who took pride in their work and served us with a smile deserve a special mention. We also enjoyed the great service we received from Raul at the pool bar. He was always ready to serve us with a smile, and his friendly personality made our time by the pool even more enjoyable.
One of the highlights of our stay was the attentive service we received from Alejandra, the waitress at the prestige restaurant. She made our dining experience extra special and ensured that we had a truly memorable evening.
Overall, I had an excellent stay at Iberostar Selection Lanzarote, and I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxurious and memorable vacation. The friendly and professional staff, exceptional amenities, and top-notch service all contributed to a wonderful experience that I will never forget. Thank you, Iberostar Selection Lanzarote, for an unforgettable vacation!

The food very good, nice service in all…
The food very good, nice service in all restaurant.
The two lady(Yahaira and Dilania)that was cleaning are room was 5 star and plus, you did great job the two week at the resorts. Thanks for your nice work.
Over £6,000 for one week this was well…
Over £6,000 for one week this was well overpriced…
We booked at the Iberostar Grand Salome hotel. At over £6,000 for one week for my partner and I this was grossly overpriced and not as exclusive as advertised. Dirty carpet in the corridors. The section of the hotel was part of and at the corner of the huge main hotel. Hundreds of diners amassed in the buffet area at meal times. So called "All Inclusive" deals still attracted charges for some items on the "Gourmet" restaurant menu. The service at one of the attached restaurants was so bad that we walked out after waiting for 10 minutes for service. A very expensive and massively over-priced holiday! We will not be returning nor will use Jet 2 again!
Just okay
We had a two-bedroom family room, which was a fantastic option for our family with 2 teenagers. Would have liked more outlet options, so bring an extension cord or power strip with you. You cannot control the thermostat and it was too hot in our room. The power is also motion-activated, so in the middle of the night, our fan turned itself off and so did my cpap machine because I wasn't moving around enough. What?!
Restaurants were fantastic. Buffett is just okay. Better food labeling for those with allergies would be helpful.
Concierge tricked us into attending a 2.5-hour presentation about joining "The Club," which was super annoying.
Shops are comically overpriced - $80 for a bottle of Aloe Vera, $50 for sunscreen, $40 for a baseball cap. The entire time we were there, we never saw people checking out products at the shop. Hmmmm...I wonder why?!
No alcohol in the drinks unless you give big tips to the bartenders even though it's marketed as an all-inclusive resort.
Lovely hotel
Lovely hotel, staff are amazing especially our cleaner Farida, she always ensured the room was clean and tidy to the highest level. Food was ok.
The hotel doesn't have anything nearby to do or see if you just want to get out the hotel to explore so would recommend planning days out. Overall a great experience.
A very pleasant experience.
First time staying in an Iberostar hotel, Port El Kantaoui, Tunisia. A few items not quite right with my bedroom on arrival but these were immediately made right , helped by Layla of housekeeping, thank you. For a tourist hotel, the areas were very clean, looked after conscientiously by the staff and the food was consistently good and varied and very pleasantly well presented and served from the various cooking stations. Wifi is prevalent throughout the hotel and also around the terracing and pool areas. Also very pleased with the front of house staff who were all multilingual. Surprise of the week was the availability of pork, sausages and pate products, a nice touch for Europeans.
Our favorite brand of hotel chain…
Our favorite brand of hotel chain especially good with small children. Good disco and activities for toddlers.
Iberostar Club Palmeraie, Marrakech
My husband and I have recently returned from a fortnight at this hotel and have been bowled over by the experience. There was such a lot on offer during the day and evenings to entertain us. Staff were friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. The all-inclusive package was perfect and we were fully satisfied by the food and drink on offer. The hotel was very clean, the grounds were well kept and the Manager was visible, regularly walking round the hotel and grounds, bringing a sense of order and competence. A courtesy bus was available in to Marrakech and reception staff were informative and helpful. We had a couple of queries about bookings and they helped us rebook excursions without issue.
We plan to return later this year
We visited in mid January 2023 - planning ahead to 2024
We visited in mid January 2023 - and it was very busy and we felt that staff was not as well supplied as in the past, especially 9-11pm in the dance hall. We have stayed at the hotel for a decade but had only just discovered their Horizons' programme which is designed to reward regular travellers. We recommend that visitors review this programme for their next visit.
Iberostar Sabila, Tenerife
This is not a 5 star hotel, a good 4 star would be more accurate.
We booked a sea view room and were given a side sea view which had no sun all day. I asked for another room and was offered a room two floors above on the same side, exactly the same room type with no sun! This ruined the holiday for me, I sit on the balcony during the day, not at the pool and I couldn't do that on this trip.
The pool is too crowded, the sunbeds are practically on top of each other and it is very unpleasant.
The only saving grace is the staff, I will not be returning.
Items stolen at Iberostar Cape Verde
Worst holiday ever! Items got stolen from our room which the hotel manager did absolutely nothing about. Food was horrendous and bugs everywhere. DO NOT BOOK THIS HOTEL
Iberostar Playa Mita, Mexico
We stayed at the Iberostar Playa Mita, Mexico. It was a nice resort, good food (except for evening buffet), staff excellent - very friendly. Limited Vegetarian options but they were good. My only complaint was the room cleaning was not thorough - made beds, emptied garbage, changed towels, but did not wipe down counters in bathroom or in room. Daily had to request 2 face cloths, even though tips were left. It is far from Puerto Vallarta, so expect to pay taxi's if you want to leave resort. Overall had a great relaxing time. I would definitely go back.
Iberostar, Lanzarote
RE:- IBEROSTAR LANZAROTE
My wife & I stayed at the Iberostar hotel, Lanzarote for a week in November 2022.
The hotel is cavernous by the sea, but with no beach & appears to be constructed of reinforced concrete & block work. It is painted white very functional but lacking in character.
Our family room on the first floor consisted of a balcony with a table & 2 chairs, a lounge adjacent to the balcony with 2 budget settees & a large television. Next to the lounge was the bathroom with a good shower but no window. The last room was the bedroom with 2 single comfortable beds side by side with another large television. There was a window adjacent to the landing outside & because of this it was covered with grille making the bedroom dark & unattractive. The only window in the apartment was between the balcony & lounge covering the entire frontage.
The restaurant was extremely well catered for with every dish imaginable on a self service basis for all meals. The only slight criticism was at times the food was not hot enough.
The hotel supplied their own water which appeared to be filtered tap water, there was a supply on the landing which was readily available , however, in the restaurant it was served in a bottle with only 1 free per table all further bottles were charged at 2.95 Euros.
We have a word of caution, the Iberostar do not publish details of their additional costs such as drinks by the pool. The only way that this can be acquired is from QR codes which are displayed throughout the hotel. Not every guest will have a scanner on their phone so they might find it difficult to find the costs of drinks etc.
We consider that Iberostar’s cost for a bottle of recycled water to be exorbitant so we checked out a bottle of wine on sale in both the local superstore & Iberostar The profit margin appeared to be around 350%.
Me and my Family of 3 had a great time…
Me and my Family of 3 had a great time there, for all of the years that this resort has been around, they are still doing great.
However if you can go on the lower season, you are definitely would get more from out of the resort.
The one thing that I dint like that much is the tour that they invite you to participate and in exchanged they will give you a free spa time section for you and your wife to enjoy, its nice, but it would take from you if you go to a tour, quite a few hours on just listen.
Customer services were good and we are all happy from the experience.
Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura…
Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace Diego Alvarez, Micki, Volanda, Danielle, Bryan and Oscar made our holiday very special.
5-star hotel, 5-star management, 5-star people, 5-star service, 5-star room with a stunning view, 5-star food and amenities. We have stayed at 5-star Fuerteventura and other Canary Island hotels but this was by far the best! Omnipresent, charming and professional Diego Alvarez with his colleagues greeted us with a very warm and friendly welcome. Throughout our 8 days stay at the Iberostar Selection Fuerteventura Palace we were treated like VIPS. The Japanese dining experience is a special night, one not to miss. The hotel has everything you'd expect from a 5-star hotel and more; It is clean, extremely well managed and has a stunning beach. Thank you very much Diego and all at the Palace, we'll certainly be coming back!
Items Stolen From Room And NOTHING Done About It
After returning from brunch and preparing for an excursion, my roommate and I discovered that items were missing from our room. More specifically, my Apple watch, my roommate's Apple airpods and her Flash charger. After doing a full search with no luck, I went to seek help from resort personnel. An investigation was started - security room search, card swipe, and all. However, neither my roommate nor I was ever updated with a status. It was left up to us to keep visiting guest services for an update only to be told that the investigation was still in progress.
I utilized "Find My Apple Watch" and was able to see that my watch had been turned off roughly 30 mins before we returned. I set up notifications to let me know when the watch was back online and it was eventually turned back on around 6:30 that evening, 9 miles away from the resort. The thief must've realized the watch was being tracked and turned it back off immediately. I took this info to guest services in part of the investigation and was basically told that this info had no value since a lot of the resort workers lived in the area the tracker picked up.
After pursuing the matter for a 4th time (on the day we were to fly back home), and after making a big deal out of it (rightfully so), the young man in guest services was able to get us a meeting with the Asst Gen Mgr.
To my disbelief, the manager told my roommate and I that THERE IS NO PROCESS FOR MATTERS LIKE THIS! And to add insult to injury, that they WOULD NOT BE DOING ANYTHING FURTHER with our case.
The resort claimed no responsibility, nor did they offer any resolution. Instead we sat through a bunch of BS about how this has never happened under this particular manager's supervision (which he could not assure me after I asked about cases where items may have gone missing and folks not realizing it or thinking that they themselves had misplaced them). He also thought it was a good idea to tell us about his trip to Florida and how he felt secure on the trip. Well guess what, WE DIDN'T.
I will NEVER consider Iberostar again. And it's not due to the facility or to folks who are actually good staff. It's because of that bad actor and the flakey Mgr who showed he couldn't care less about our loss and how it impacted our trip. And for this resort chain to put their reputation in the hands of someone like Andrae Greenwood (EAM) is bad business and completely tone deaf to what's good for its patrons.
Folks if you visit this resort, the safe in the room is your best friend - even if you are just going downstairs for breakfast.
Iberostar Sabila Fabulous Stay so we…
Iberostar Sabila Fabulous Stay so we returned!
Without doubt one of my favourite hotels within Tenerife!
Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed back by “Miguel” at reception with the biggest welcoming smile and sincere hand shake, he is absolutely amazing at his job and definitely deserves a mention. In fact, all the staff are extremely good, friendly and amazingly attentive! The poolside restaurant/bar manager “Contreras” recognised me straight away, plus the beautifully kind and gentle waitress “Yoanne”, these three we really loved from our first visit 6 months previously…fabulous to see them again.
We had two great holidays here, the hotel itself is very relaxing, modern with great facilities that obviously added to our experience.
We ran every morning to La Caletta before breakfast, it’s a 41/2 mile stunning jog along the coastal path. La Caleta itself is a lovely fishing village that has some stunning fine Dinning restaurants…our favourite being Rossos but you need to book!
There also is a great but quite Argentinian steak restaurant situated just outside the hotel, out the front doors, turn left walk 2 minutes to the island and it’s called Gardels…we stumbled one night on this gem and had one of the best Château Briand’s we have every had!
Note, this is a 4+ star hotel and due to it being 16+ age so adults only! does mean and as a father myself…I’m sad to say….made it the most relaxing holiday we have ever had (no kids) ha ! We left our 18 year old at home.
Atmosphere is special and makes it really felt like home to us us but Spanish.
Please give this a try as you will love it!
I hope Iberostar realise there staff are the greatest assets and treat them well! That’s why we returned.

Club Cala Barca Cala Mondrago
Club Cala Barca Cala Mondrago
The hotel blew us away & exceeded are expectations from the moment we got there. Check in was a little wait but once sorted we got driven to our room on a golf buggy which was amazing as we were warm and tired. One thing to note is we were not aware of the Spanish tax you have to pay additional to your trip so we had to pay €3 pp per day for this, everything was fantastic from the friendliness of the staff, the room - we had lots of room, a travel cot with bedding, a fridge and a microwave as well as a lovely balcony. They also give you a glass bottle and glasses with filtered water stations around the resort for you to fill up and keep water in your fridge. The recycling points and facilities around the resort are also really great and clearly labelled. The hotel clearly focuses on their corporate social responsibility which is great to see. The facilities are ace there are some shops on site with essentials and inflatables for the pool to purchase. The drinks choice is also amazing aperol spritz and other cocktails on the list and lots of bars throughout the resort to access, the free ice cream and snack stations near the kids pool is also great and lovely quality. The food available is great previous reviews fault the food and it makes me wonder what people actually want. You can eat at the main buffet reateraunt which has a huge selection of local food, salads, veggies, pizza, pasta and themed food each day. Then there is a Mediterranean buffet which is slightly more local food like paella etc but still has all the basic selections also there is also a Mexican restaurant which is open at lunch time. Lovely Mexican buffet, tortilla wraps, chilli, chicken wings, fresh guacamole and salsa nice for a change. The final option is the beach restaurant, again a buffet but a bbq with amazing steak, chicken, ribs, long prawns etc and the setting is gorgeous as you are right on the beach it feels a little more special to eat there, we dined there twice in the week. You have to book but easy to do through the app which you download when you arrive, they don’t restrict how many times you visit. The entertainment also blew us away something for kids every night and then an amazing show for all ages from around 9pm. The performances were really professional and so entertaining to watch. The staff were incredible with my daughter so friendly and gave her a hi five all the time :) the pools for kids & facilities were amazing! Although the water was quite cold but once you were in it was ok. We loved the hotel and for families with kids it’s a fantastic place. One frustration for us was we hired an iron from reception with a €20 deposit which we got back once returned however they do not have ironing boards and the plug sockets in the room made it really difficult to iron that would be my only gripe.
Cala Mondrago beach is about 5mins in a car and is such a beautiful sandy beach, the sea is bright blue and so warm well worth a visit. We also went to Cala Dor for the afternoon a lovely town for a mooch around and some local tapas. We can’t wait to come back!!!!
Iberostar Founty beach
We stayed at Iberostar Founty beach in Morocco.
Overall the cleanest most friendly hotel I have ever stayed in!
They were amazing with all the children and got all the adults involved in the games throughout the day.
Evening entertainment was ok but very repetitive (same dancers every night except on karaoke night)
There was not any guidance on check in where to find anything or what was at the hotel which was disappointing (a sheet in the room would be good)
Buffet had a good range of food and each night had a specific section which was themed, for example sushi night. Something for everyone (even the fussy eaters)
Iberostar Grand Parisio
Thanks to Jean Carlos Mata, for the incredible attentive service, and to his wonderful staff for constantly checking on my wife and I. We’ve been coming here for years and have always had a phenomenal experience. Jean Carlos is truly a man of his word and a great manager Iberostar is very lucky to have him overseeing things, very attentive and is constantly walking around the property overseeing EVERYTHING!!
I’d also like to acknowledge several of the staff for their outstanding service and friendship.
