Many people consistently praise the staff for being exceptionally friendly, welcoming, and professional, often going out of their way to assist guests. Consumers frequently highlight the hotel's cleanliness, well-maintained facilities, and appealing locations. The quality and selection of food, especially breakfast, also receive positive remarks. However, some customers noted significant issues with room quality, citing dirtiness, poor maintenance, and unpleasant smells. Not a great start to our experience.

We were given €1000 voucher to use against hotel. Apparently you can only book it at the highest rate that is on offer and cannot use any of the discounts so the rate is a lot more expensive than I could’ve paid without a voucher. Do not understand why I am being penalised when somebody has given me a voucher and now I have to pay the highest price. Online it says you can use the voucher but doesn’t specify that you can’t take advantage of the cheaper rates. I wish we haven’t been given a voucher as we are now forced to use this company

Wish I could cancel the voucher and get my money back as it seems to be a win-win for ibeostar and a lose lose for customers

It’s all about the Bad food

It’s all about the food, all inclusive food over the last 4 years in Iberostar has declined to the point of a takeaway fish and chip shop.
No food for kids other then chips and bland pasta.
Basically is chips pizza and pasta with salad and bread.
Once your happy eating this every day for your stay then happy days.
Came home with a broken rib after one of the staff opened a kitchen door into me, kids starving for proper food and at €700 a night for 10 nights for chips and pizza it’s a rip off I’m afraid to say.
The bad news is that was our 4th stay in Iberostar Albufera park! And the food standards have dropped significantly over the years.
Managers could care less by the way, if you complain your only a nuisance to them…
The hotel group needs to look at what 4* is in other countries like Turkey which is second to none on quality and service.

Not a good choice!

First of all, dont ever get the upgrade package with Iberostar in Jamaica as there are only 2 bar locations that have premium liquor and neither are anywhere near where customers hang out. The inside bar location, the air condition did not work (for 6 days) and the bartender leaves at 11pm. The 2nd location is out at the cabana. The covering at the cabana needs to be replaced as they too short. Our room was on the 4th floor and the ice machine and water machine did not work on any floor above the 1st floor. The issue was never resolved the entire time we were there (6 days). The phones do not work as we were told to call the front desk to have the concierge come pick up our bags on the last day, well had to take them ourselves as the phones dont work. Also, all of the pools close at 6pm. Most of us did not want to be in the pool during the day while the sun is out. The lazy river is not so lazy as it did not work the whole time we were there (6 days). Only half of the lazy river had any jets working. Make sure to check your drinks as we ordered a margarita and they made it with pineapple. My wife is allergic to pineapple, so she sensed it on the first swallow. Luckily, my wife caught it and we asked who puts pineapple in a margarita (not everyone behind the bar is a bartender). Room service menu sucks as it only has chicken burger and hot dogs as entrees. Dont come with a large party and try and reserve a table at the steak restaurant. We were only a few minutes late and the rest of our party was there to eat and the waiter had just completed taking the order and immediately stated to us that no one else can join the table, well we were the only 2 people left from our 15 people party and this was the last seating, so why could we not just pull up an additional table, so that we could all eat together. Turns out we had to seat at a table not with the rest of our party and we got our food before the rest of our party. Need to tell the staff in the steak restaurant to use their heads when dealing with large parties. On some positive notes, the spa was very nice and had a great experience at the spa. Also, the hotel appeared to be very clean, and the staff was very nice with the exception of the steak restaurant.

no greeting

arrived at Iberostar Jardin Del sol suites on the 01/07/2023 at around 2.30am no member of staff to greet us or explain the hotel to us also did not get the prosecco that everyone else seem to receive while we was there. my husband went looking for someone while i called the hotel with no answer so called tui who then called the hotel and spoke to the member of staff that my husband found and was with. we was given the key to our room with the times of the restaurant opening times scribbled on it. so if your flight does not land till late don't expect to get the greeting that i witnessed everyone else get when they arrived. A little disappointed as the hotel it self was amazing as was all the staff except one who worked in the star prestige bar who i found very abrupt and rude.

No customer service

Iberostar Costa Dorada, Puerto Plats
Our check in was a nightmare, we were a gripo of 12 persons , all family to celebrate my dad’s birthday. Check in is at 3pm, we didn’t get the first room till 5:30pm. My parents got their room at 6 pm, when the got to there room toilet had no water, they didn’t fix it till 10 pm, after the second request.
That night at dinner they could not accommodate us all at a table , our group had to be spilt up. I asked the waiter for a soda and she forgot, we asked again she told me to go get it REALLY, so I went, or die of thirst.
Next day on my dad’s 93 birthday, at breakfast time asked for them to sign happy birthday, was told they don’t do that.
I have gone to many resorts different ones every year to celebrate his birthday and always this is done.
Next we went to make a reservation for one of la carteé restaurant and was told that was impossible, we explained the reason and they said sorry but they would accommodate us at the buffet restaurant.
That night was the first time we felt welcomed, but we as a group had to sign to him they would not provided and staff, not even a cupcake,
Next day I asked the housekeeper lady to only refill my room fridge cuz we drank the 2 sodas. She forgot. Had to chase her down the hall finally when reached she handed the drinks with an actitud.
The guys Enmanuel “El Flaco” and Tony at the deli snack bar near the pool and beach have the greatest customer service, they need to train all the people that get hired,,
I wished all the people in this hotel learn something about these two.

Hotel Bouganville Las Americas… Lost its shine

Hotel Bouganville Las Americas Tenerife. The only
4 star I would award relates to its appearance. Poor quality food hacked up with shears and dumped on your plate, fish fried until its as dry as a stick, undercooked rice, cold beans for breakfast, duck and roast pork served with bones, fat, gristle. They sell you prestige rooms and service that takes two days to set up the mini bar, newspapers to read ? one copy of the Mail and One copy of the Mirror between 50 odd guests. Entertainment Live Music six night in a row one night at the pool with only loungers to sit on, the others in the lobby bar with seating for about 70 in a hotel with 500 plus guests. To top it all its 10 euros a day to use the hotel car park. I have used Iberostar for over thirty years this was the worst experience ever and we will not be returning. Stay out of the inhouse shop walk 100 yards and save at least 50% if not 75% on their prices.

Iberostar- El kantaoui - Sousse Tunisia

Iberostar - Kantaoui Bay- Sousse ,Tunisia - 3 *hotel, not 5*. Feel sorry for the super friendly staff facing customers complains knowing that the hotel is not meeting the advertised standards. The Hotel is very old inside, very dirty fitness area, old deco, ripped bedsheet, lots of broken equipment/ items in the gym and toilets. Found a piece of a hard wire in my food, which gladly I didn’t swallow. The incident was reported to the management . Cockroaches in the main reception area. Never seen sheslongs being cleaned or wiped, they were full of stains and sticky. At the end of my trip I I was approached by 2 staff members and asked to give only 5* rating , so the hotel popularity can go up when searched on website . The spa experience - quite disappointing. The main receptionist was super smiley and polite but that’s about it . She didn’t know nothing abut massages she was offering, not paid attention to customers request. I asked for a female and a deep tissue massage, was offered the opposite.- my massage was far from the deep tissue. I specifically asked more than once for a female massage therapist, I am sure male therapist would be assigned to an Arabic female client . Private gym area - chargeable - only 2 equipments worked. Really poor experience on so many levels! The hotel was 5* perhaps 10 -15 years ago! I tried to enjoy my stay but there were too many problems and issues everywhere. I hope the owner of the hotel takes my comments seriously, as having friendly looking staff isn’t enough to match the 5* rating .

Had my Crocs (rare design) stolen from…

Had my Crocs (rare design) stolen from pool deck at Cancun's Iberostar Paraiso Del Mar. There was no one there except two people in the pool I was speaking to. There were two security guards roaming around as it was near closing time (about 5:30 p.m.) and a few cleaning crew. When I came out I noticed by shirt and hotel key there but crocs gone. I reported to security there which noted to go to front desk and file a report. I did so and was told "we don't file any report and I don't see any Crocs in lost and found list." The next day I happened to run into a Food & Beverage manager at the Buffet and this came up when speaking to him (from Cuba) and noted if I filed a report, which I shared they did not. He noted by room room #, but I never heard back. I informed him that my haunch is it was an employee that took them as there were no guests around. This happened at day one in Cancun with swimming and beach shoes gone! The next evening I received a phone call from reception about 8:50 pm noting nothing has been found (still no report taken). "It's not the hotel's responsibility." I asked if cameras were there when I was speaking to the Food & Beverage manager and he stated, "No." I informed him how the hell can you not have cameras? What if someone drowns? Theft (as what I suspect) or fight, etc.? He shared all employees go through security check upon leaving. I informed him this does not mean there's no theft potential as the biggest theft is usually with employees. In fact, another review I read noted his ear buds were taken from his room. The Food and Beverage manager and front desk were nothing my shoes being misplaced as if I lost them and they will look for them. They did not understand what I was explaining to them. It's sad how this being my second trip to this resort in 7 months ends in this manner. I can't understand why no cameras are in place. This week has been ruined. We won't be returning to this resort any longer.

Holiday of a lifetime in our Happy Place

We have just returned home to UK from The Grand El Mirador Hotel in Costa Adeje Tenerife. We had the most wonderful trip in the most beautiful location and hotel. The entire team are an absolute joy added to which the food is sublime. We have stayed previously and will definitely be rebooking. We have truly had the holiday of a lifetime.

Bad conditions. Full of cockroaches and dirt.

Already on my second day at hotel Iberostar Bouganville Playa i knew that my vacation is already compromised. The amount of cockroaches and dirt i have never seen anywhere else. Leaving on a side the flying cockroaches from the island. We were literally eating in the restaurant with cockroaches running around the tables. Also the food quality is noticible low. You will not starv but you will not have a great experience with it either. For us was not a kid friendly experience as you hat to choose as well what dinner set you wanted to go to…wirh kids is not so easy. I have photos as well for those who want to see

Iberostar Coral Beach Marbella hotel ……

Iberostar Coral Beach Marbella hotel … we have recently spent 10 nights bed and breakfast at this beautiful hotel … the room was spacious and clean and has everything we needed. The breakfast offered something for everyone and was delicious. The hotel staff were friendly helpful and attentive. The pool side was well kept and the day time exercises / classes were great fun. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. One afternoon the staff brought out fresh fruit and champagne to share with all the guests. It’s ideally placed to walk to Puerto Banus about 20 mins away and if you’re able to walk further the coastal walk to Marbella old town is lovely. Thank you to all the staff there. We stayed from Tuesday 18th to Friday 28th April.

Latest visit to Iberostar Sabila

We stayed at Iberostar Sabila , Costa Adeje. This was our third visit to this hotel and we again enjoyed the experience and the facilities within the hotel. The staff as usual were excellent. Special shout out to the ever energetic and smiling fitness instructor Sara, Aumory & Minmoon for a fantastic evening in the Food Market, the restaurant staff who were excellent and a special mention to Natalie at Reception who went to extra lengths to ensure our stay was a good one. Iberostar Sabila operates to high standards and the efforts of all at Sabila was really beneficial to make our holiday a memorable one. .

ALIVE cockroaches on your food

ALIVE cockroaches on your food. Iberostar is being sued for food quality. Unless you want cockroaches on the grill where your food is made and cockroaches on your food in buffet, etc.

Iberostar MUST be responsible for terrible food quality!

DO NOT BOOK. (It won’t let me post videos of the cockroaches crawling on served food)

Great hotel and resort

Honestly great hotel and staff. Just been to the one in Montenegro and it was so beautiful. They have loads of activities and the holiday rep Denis was honestly a sweetheart! They do a variety of things throughout the day like bingo, a shuffle board variation and even have dance parties in the evening for everyone to get involved in.
