Its been 3 months now

Its been 3 months now, and we hardly get 1 bar reception at home. The reception is terrible. Looks like we might be go changing networks. We have 3 sims with ID mobile and all arw same, rubbish reception.

Please try these quick troubleshooting steps:
• Restart all devices
• Toggle Airplane Mode ON for 30 seconds, then OFF
• Check if the issue happens only at home or everywhere
• Try moving closer to windows or outside to test signal strength
• Manually select network: Settings → Mobile Network → Network Selection → turn OFF automatic, then reselect iD Mobile
• If possible, test one SIM in a different location (e.g. town/city) to compare coverage

Ok I received my phone and SIM card and…

Ok I received my phone and SIM card and it was a great phone, but I couldn’t get anything in the app to work or make contact, I then couldn’t make calls or anything saying I had used my allowance.. even though I have unlimited minutes etc, I thought I will just pay for the handset and cancel the sim plan. Then they contacted me and sent me links to chat with them. After this I have to say that providing it doesn’t keep happening then I think it’s decent value for money and I would recommend a friend

Hassle free

I find it very friendly to use and free of any frustrations as the very few times I had to contact ID it was all very straightforward. Never had any major issues

Awful

Awful, avoid at all costs. I could not regret switching provider more. The network is awful, customer services are really unhelpful. The online FAQs are extremely time consuming and still failed to resolve the issue. Praying I can cancel my contract and return my device.

IDMOBILE GUILTY OF BREECH OF CONTRACT

IDMOBILE GUILTY OF BREECH OF CONTRACT - I purchased my phone a Friday, received it on the Monday, unable to connect the eSim to the service, then poor customer service followed via the chat lines, eventually got a physical sim. But again, unable to connect to the service. So unable to make any calls. In other words, the mobile contract and phone I signed up to, did not work. So I returned the mobile after 7 days. Today I got a bill for £13.22 Wow!!! What a cheek. Disgraceful customer service by Id mobile and in breech of the consumers contract. DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY

This ID mobile company is doing very well, they aer always getting intouch with you asking if you are doing well, giving you free phone time when Covid was around making sure you are safe,when you are elderly.

STAY AWAY! (25/04/2026)

Do yourself a favour and stay away from @idmobileuk. Easily the worst service in the UK.
Coverage is non-existent even in London. If you cancel within the
14-day cooling-off period, good luck getting your money back-they'll hold onto it as long as they can. Customer service is a joke.

UPDATE [25/4/26]: An ID Mobile Chatbot replied asking for my email address, name, postcode, and phone number so they can "look into this." This is a standard stalling tactic, as I was told I’m not liable for a refund by them (even though I received an email saying I’m liable for a refund, coincidentally a day after I cancelled my direct debit). So clearly they have my name, address, and email on file.
