STAY AWAY! (25/04/2026)

Do yourself a favour and stay away from @idmobileuk. Easily the worst service in the UK.
Coverage is non-existent even in London. If you cancel within the
14-day cooling-off period, good luck getting your money back-they'll hold onto it as long as they can. Customer service is a joke.

UPDATE [25/4/26]: An ID Mobile Chatbot replied asking for my email address, name, postcode, and phone number so they can "look into this." This is a standard stalling tactic, as I was told I’m not liable for a refund by them (even though I received an email saying I’m liable for a refund, coincidentally a day after I cancelled my direct debit). So clearly they have my name, address, and email on file.

Connection very slow

Connection very slow, really irritating having to wait for very long to open a web page, and most of the time not opening.

Additionally, you may want to try the following steps:

For iPhone (iOS) – Reset Network Settings:
Go to Settings → General.
Tap Transfer or Reset iPhone → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm the reset when prompted.
Once complete, return to the home screen and restart your iPhone.

For Samsung – Reset Network Settings:
From the Home screen, swipe up to access Apps → Settings → Connections → Mobile Networks → Network Operators.
Turn Select Automatically on or off.
Alternatively:
Go to Settings → General Management → Reset → Reset Network Settings.
Confirm by tapping Reset Settings.

Quick and reliable from the start of my…

Quick and reliable from the start of my order.....Great service, but, constant e-mails etc can be a bit much! I am really happy with the deal that I got and my mobile phone. The battery is quick to go down though 🙄 I would recommend this company.

I tried to call you, but the call went to voicemail. Could you please try the troubleshooting steps below to see if this improves your service?

Apple:

Manual network selection:

Press Settings.
Press Mobile Service.
Press Network Selection.
Press the indicator next to "Automatic" to turn automatic network selection on or off.
If you turn off the function, press the required network which will be iD mobile.
Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
Wait few minutes and try test services again.

Android:

Manual network selection:

Swipe down on the main screen to reveal the notifications panel
Tap the settings icon
Tap Connections
Tap Mobile networks
Tap the switch button to turn Select automatically off
Select iD mobile

Mobile network reset:

Apple:

1.Press Settings.
2. Press General.
3. Press Transfer or Reset iPhone.
4. Press Reset.
5. Press Reset Network Settings.
6. Press Reset Network Settings.
7. Slide your finger upwards starting from the bottom of the screen to return to the home screen.
8. Restart phone
