worst service ever
I ordered a lemon and lime trug along with a mother's day card to be delivered to my elderly mother on Mothers day (15th March) . The postal flowers arrived in a box on the said date. On opening the box my Mothers disappointment was clear to see , witnessed by my siblings and niece's. Not only was it the wrong item of lesser value than that I ordered , the package had been so badly treated in transit that the contents of the country kitchen basket , plants and soil were laying loose within the box. The plants were all either dying, withered or dead. Reducing my mother to tears . Leaving me feeling awful and the rest of the family upset. NEVER USE THEM. I have attempted to call them Monday 16th, on 6 occasions during the hours 09.00 and 12 o'clock the answer machine reported they were closed, I attempted several times to 'raise a ticket' but their system would not allow me to send, stating this was not the email I ordered from. I rang several times between the hours of 13.00hrs and 17.00hrs only to be left on hold by the automated system informing someone would be with me shortly....despite holding on several occassions for Up to 20 minutes no one answered. The automated answering machine informed of live chat available on their website....couldn't find this despite looking several times....ive left messages on the voicemail and sent pictures via MMS ....despite this no one has returned my call. this is the worst customer service I have ever experienced.....and certainly the most disappointing mother's day...I've clearly been one of many that has been conned into parting with a significant amount of money...I will be reporting to Trading Standards and advise everyone else to do the same. These people should be named and shamed I want a full refund. I wish I had read the reviews on trust pilot before I had used them...
IFlorist - Awful flowers, and terrible customer service - don't use
My son ordered a Mother's day bouquet for me. Never seen such a sorry bunch of flowers, and I order flowers all the time as part of my job. I had a stalk without a head, a few dead flowers, others on the brink, and by the next day all the tulips had drooped irrecoverably. By the second day most of the others have died.
When I contacted iFlorist they first refused to deal until I had filled in an online form, and once I'd done that they've fobbed me off again with a demand that I go home, take some photos and upload them.
Honestly can't be bothered to get the dead ones out of the bin so will probably chalk this one up to experience, but there are loads of better sites out there with better products and much better customer service, so why take a risk? Don't use.
Mother's day present, not mother's night!!!
We ordered a lovely basket of flowers for my mother-in-law as we couldn't be with her that day. While I do not expect the flowers to arrive at 8am as I know I am not the only customer, I was actually hoping for the flowers to arrive during the day. The link supposedy tracking the flowers was not working, there was no phone number to call. As we wanted to keep the surprise until the flowers arrived, we didn't say anything (bad move). The flowers arrived at 8pm with the poor excuse that they had tried to deliver from the morning. Apparently, they didn't find the house easily as the address wasn't complete...it was on invoice sent to me by email!!! I can see when I read the other reviews that I should count my blessings as I least I received the flowers...which gave them 2 stars rather than one. Their respond to my email to them (just stating the obvious and being sarcastic) was: "don't complain, at least you have got them on mother's day". I quote their unhelpful reply "Dear Customer, Thank you for contacting us, Your order was delivered on Mother's day. Kindest Regards Iflorist". Never mind!!!
Wrong flowers, wrong day - half dead
The Mother's Day flowers I ordered arrived a day early and were the wrong ones - they sent me a half-dead wilted display about half the size of the one I ordered. Said there had been a 'stock issue' even though the item I ordered is currently showing as 'in stock' on the website - they offered to send a replacement but not in time for Mother's Day, and I don't want a replacement anyway as their flowers are very poor quality. When I asked for a refund the girl told me she couldn't do that as the flowers had been delivered; the only thing she could do was give me her manager's email address for me to request a refund. Have emailed but so far heard nothing. Awful company and really disappointed - I simply wanted the fresh flowers I'd ordered to be delivered on the right day. Definitely would not recommend.
iflorist didn't deliver then ignored me
I had placed an order well in advance for flowers to be delivered for my wife on Christmas Eve. They weren’t delivered and, having had no response when calling their call centre on 29 December, I completed a webticket which was completely ignored. After a week I checked the webticket and was astonished to see it was closed. I phoned again and was reluctantly offered a refund after turning down a replacement delivery. I was advised that non delivery had been due to a “transmission error”, but they didn’t have the decency to contact me about it. It was astonishing that my webticket had been closed with no action having been taken. I asked to talk to a manager but none was available. The call centre said I should send an email to (NAME) who would respond. But that was over a month ago and she still hasn’t. I will not be using them again and would strongly recommend others to avoid them.
DO NOT USE
I ordered flowers to be sent to France for my daughter and partner to cheer them up after a traumatic time, the flowers were ordered 21 Jan 15 for delivery 23 Jan 15. I received confirmation of my order, all good!! I then received an email form the service centre requesting information for the delivery driver as the address is a bit different, I replied to this request within the hour and also gave specific directions direct to the house including the make and colour of the cars on the driveway.
On Sunday due to not receiving a thank you which my daughter would have done right away I enquired through a third party as to if the flowers had arrived to with there was a negative response.
I contacted iflorist and left a ticket on their website while trying to access their tracking service to see were the delivery was up to. The tracking threw me out without allowing me to access were the order was up to and I did receive a further response from iflorist to say delivery would be made within the next 24 - 48 hours.
On 29 Jan (STILL NO DELIVERY) and an email to say I had not responded to their initial enquiry until 24 Jan which delayed the order due to the weekend my email confirmed the response was sent 21 Jan and the time email was sent. I responded to that email disputing the information contained in that email and attached copies of my previous email response also demanding delivery by lunchtime 30 Jan or a FULL refund.
I have since been in contact with my daughter and at 16:20 30 Jan still no flowers.
Not only is this disgusting service but the whole surprise to cheer them up has been destroyed.
I am bitterly disappointed and annoyed at myself as usually I read reviews for companies before placing any online orders, had I seen the reviews for this company prior there is no way I would have made this order. I am just glad this was not a wreath I had ordered.
I will update this if/when I get a further response from iflorist but meantime would advise anyone to stay away from this company.
Finally received refund after further email threatening to seek legal advise and reporting them to the ombudsman.
No email from them confirming my refund other than one 3 days before to say it had been passed to the manager.
The company meantime had my money in their account for 2 weeks and absolutely no explanation as to why this delivery was not made.
Suprised!
I placed my order then looked through all the reviews online and quite honestly panicked! So I was pleasantly suprised when they turned up on time and with a free vase! They werent as full and colourful as online but for the price I paid they were lovely! The box they were delivered in is lovely too! Maybe I just got lucky with my order but my Mum loves it and she's very fussy with flowers! The boquet could have been a bit fuller and contained more than one lilly but everything else is lovely.
A very shoddy company giving me the 3rd. degree
I placed an order to iFlorist on Dec. 4th., 2013 for Roses for my mother's 90th. birthday. Having filled out relevant information inc. phone # of recipient, I received a reply from an Emily Taylor informing me that additional information was needed, despite the fact that the requested information I had entered together with the original order. By the time I received the email, the time for delivery was past, and there was no time to change the order. I cancelled outright, by email, however I did not receive a response at all. The delivery obviously was not done, my funds from my credit card in the possession of iflorist.
I requested a refund and opened a ticket on Dec. 18th. for that purpose. No response from iflorist, but the ticket was closed.
I opened another ticket for a refund. No response, but the ticket was closed as well.
I opened another ticket on Dec. 30th. No response, but the ticket was closed again.
I opened another ticket on Jan 22nd., 2014, threatening that I would contact my credit card company and label the issue as fraud. This time I received 2 email responses the next day, Jan 23rd., one from the general customer service informing me that I would receive a response within 3 working days, the second email form a ‘Chantelle’ with an apology for any inconveniences etc., and the promise that they would look into it and I would receive an email within 3 working days.
So far no-one was getting back to me in 10 days and I sent an email again to Chantelle on Feb. 2nd. to follow up. No response.
However, today (Feb. 45th., 2014) by chance I looked into my credit card on-line for some other reasons, and to my utter surprise found a posting of full credit to my account from iFlorist, actually called ‘Colonial Gifts Ltd Internet’. Finally my financial interest was satisfied, however my overall satisfaction is very, very poor, considering it took so long and so much effort for me to get my money back. Communication from iFlorist was non-existent, and the whole situation sounds like a horror treatment of a customer who has potentially future orders. I was completely ignored, and that from a company which prides itself with a Queen's Award for Enterprise. A very shoddy company which cannot be trusted and from which people should stay far away!!!
Brilliant
After only ordering my flower on valentines day morning I started to get worried that they wouldn't be coming or would be poor quality after reading some of the reviews on this site!
The flowers arrived 15min ago and my new wife ( we've been married 10 days but together 10 years) is overmoon with them and said they are much better than the ones from interflora that I bought last year!
Christmas from across the seas
Easy to order. Great selection. Keep me updated by e-mail on current products. Perfect for deliveries to family the other side of the world. Delivered on time. What more can I ask!
Where are my flowers???????????????
I ordered not 1 but 5 bunches of flowers to arrive last Friday, only 2 arrived. This was a very special occassion. They said they would send more out as could not refund as i had had some of the order but would send another 5 for Tuesday, already to late for the event. Well guess what only 2 turned up.
Now no reply at all- STAY CLEAR OF A COMPANY LIKE THIS. I WILL CONTINUE TO FIGHT FOR A FULL REFUND BUT THE ONLINE CHAT LINE IS NO GOOD ITS ALL A JOKE.
