There needs to be a webpage with videos for ongoing training

There needs to be an ongoing training webpage video list that takes the intial exposure to the software to the next level. This webpage should have various videos delineating how common things can be done quickly. Simply having that data in a book(pdf) form does not answer the needed questions. There needs to be someone in a video showing how to apply what the manual explains. This webpage can be monetized, but it needs to exist. SolidWorks, EPLAN and other Electrical CAD/CAM software already do this. IGE XAO needs to step up if it wants to present itself as world class Electrical CAD/CAM software company.

Wishful promises and painful learnings

I know it is the appropriate and dedicated tool for the electrical designs. I believe that is the way to design an electrotechnical concepts by using a database parts and symbols to reduce significaly the development time. By now for me it is the opposite and close to hangry. The multiples languages installations packages is no sense and put me in a bad situations with differents languages projects and templates, don't mix it up. The database interfaces are legacy and vintage, and close applications without advise and forgiveness. I hope that the developpers will migrate to 64 bits applications and databases as soon as possible. I believe in SEE Electrical and its powerful promises, but you have to do your work to make it more confortable.

Very Comprehensive

The training course was very comprehensive and good value for money. The trainer (Oliver) was very polite and knowledgeable about the product.

My 3 reasons for not giving a 5 star:
1) The training course is very comprehensive. If you are new to the product there is a lot of information to take in. I personally feel that having the course over 3 days (instead of 2) would allow more time to be allocated for each section.
2) In my experience, the amount of information covered over 2 days does not allow time for any note taking during the course. Whilst I appreciate that there is a lot of training documentation to complement the course, it's sometimes good to be able to make a note of your own key points.
3) I can't remember the creating of models being covered in the course. We were shown how to make components using symbols and models that were already existing in the database. But I don't think we were shown how to create our own models. It would be good if the course covered this aspect.

Many thanks for your feedback. We do try and balance the theory and practical experience within the training course and, as you mentioned, the supporting documents covering each topic are a great resource to refresh your memory.
I'm not sure about 'models' request, there are symbols, macros (sections of circuit), and equipment with channel (symbol) definitions to restrict the symbols that can be used.
As always, the training is an ongoing process, so please keep in contact with our support team if you have further questions.

Solid 4 with a lot of space to improve

A lot of functionality, predefined symbols and libraries. You will need some practice to learn how to navigate through the program but after that it really improves productivity at work.

Need some time to switch from other CAD software cause of unintuitive commands and keyboard shortcuts.

A lot of predefined tables with data comparison presenting the same or similar data. Fortunately can be switched off.

Floating licenses can't be merged if not bought in the same time. If you planning to expand your floating license "basket" it can't be done. This kills one of the biggest advantage of this kind of license. In my opinion this is the one of the biggest problem right now. Need to be fixed!

Overall, the training is good – Good start to get hands-on on basics of the application

Overall the training is good. We understood basics of the application.

1.Good to get the expectations from audience before starting the training. So that trainer can understand the interests or expectations from the participants.

2.Better to explain real time examples of enclosure design after basics sessions.
3.Better to give time to work on complex examples instead of repeating the day1 and day2 topics in day3 session.
