IMDb used to be a site where you could go for honest fan reviews on movies. That was 20 years ago. Now it's just an industry promotion full of fake reviews. Don't even bother.

Reviewed a movie called 'Sisu' which is basically a man with superhero powers who basically defeats a whole SS battalion with a pickaxe, anyways point is the movie is terrible so said as much in my review and it got declined.

Have noticed every review i do that's positive is approved rather quickly but any negative review is either withheld for days before being made live or they decline it, go look at reviews for 'Sisu' and your telling me all those 10 stars are real?? the movie is so dumb its insulting to anyone with a decent bit of intelligence.

Have noticed on quite a few movies now that they get flooded with 10 star reviews when the movie is terrible and no way people find it 10/10 stars, makes me think they allow fake reviews and suppress negative reviews on certain movies/shows.

So I heard this happened and then saw it:
The Flash has a fake rating of 10/10 in the metadata of the website even though the movie is not yet accessible to be rated on IMDB yet and that's how all the big crappy blockbuster get overrated like crazy on IMDB?

What other movies and proofs have you seen of that. BTW not answering and blocking any shill degens.

Will you please tell the "EXPERT'S " on this show to pronounce NUCLEAR properly as that is the right word.
Please no more "NUCULAR". I love this program but how can you take it seriously with with stupid people saying the latter word.

Shamelessly inept and absolutely unwilling to allow negative reviews on any politically motivated films and productions. It doesn't matter how mild or thorough the reviews are, if not liking that particular show or movie goes against IMDB/Amazon's political stance, they will block the review and claim its a violation of guidelines without ever explaining what exactly it violates.

The biggest problem with this is, everything is politically motivated now, and you can't even voice displeasure at the inability to escape scathing political messages in what was supposed to be entertainment.

First the 600 character minimum. Then the 'woke' of the month epiphany. My last two reviews didn't make the cut even though they met IMDB's guidelines.

Couple this despicable practice with the new PAY WALL and IMDB has gone from great to sour. I find myself logging into Rotten Tomatoes' more and more and IMDB a lot less.

Imdb is now woke. Deleting "vox populi" (ratings). Typical HDLGTV+ communist agenda.

They are deleting reviews which don't fit their cultural, social and political sphere. This is something you would except in a dictatorship. Do NOT trust this website.

I am sick and tired of censoring my reviews and walking on tippie-toe to avoid potentially offending the patrols by referencing reality or critiqueing brainwashing. Now they have also deleted most of my already published reviews.

- Deleting reviews they don't like
- Censorship
- Manipulating scoring of movies to make them appear better

Just like many others, IMDB is taking the wrong path.

From 33000 ratings, IMDB filters out 13000 1Star reviews. The rating is faked from 4.7 to 7.0.

Stop pushing wokeism! The Movie can be woke AND suck. Just because u want to push ur political statements, doesnt mean the movie is fine.

As many have said, they actively delete reviews, mainly on cultural flashpoint movies and shows where main characters have been race swapped to appease the woke machine. Notable examples - Rings of power, The little Mermaid, Bros. Do not trust them.

Reject reviews that don’t fit their agenda. Not trustworthy at all.

Tried to give an insightful and honest review of the little mermaid, but since it was a bad review and that can’t happen it was rejected 3 times. Made sure to read the guidelines, too 💀

IMDB Removes ratings for anything controvercial so you do not get a real reflection of it's score. It also will do this selectively in order to reinforce its biases and agendas.
