Insureon is sales focused but not service focused.
I originally worked with a company named Cover Wallet. They were great but my professional liability policy was transferred to Insureon. They have since checked out and they’re strictly sales. Managing my policy I need to do myself via Hiscox. My previous rep at Cover Wallet did everything I needed. Emails seem to be boilerplate or AI responses. My policy auto renewed sooner than the term was up without notice. I’m in the process of restructuring my business and this has thrown a wrench into things. It’s not worth the annoyance and time I’d need to invest to remedy. If anything I’m over insured but I think the policy limits are as low as they can be. At this point I’m keeping the policy for another year but noting that I need to find a new agent to hold my policy. A company that actually interacts with human responses not boilerplate AI replies. So I can cancel the policy and open a new policy with another agent immediately a few months before the term is up and it renews. I’m afraid many businesses are going this route because they don’t make enough money on small businesses to justify the cost of improving service beyond sales.

5 stars. I had a very good experience with Jeremy at Insureon. He was responsive, communicative, and worked hard to find a policy that fit the parameters of what I needed for my business. It took me several months to work out what I exactly needed to move forward. I genuinely felt like they went out of the way to navigate options and would quickly provide policy updates with new information as it came along over several weeks. The process was as smooth as can be expected with finding insurance. From my experience, I would recommend Insureon to other business owners looking for coverage.

No Help with Lawsuit
Received a lawsuit. Sent it to them for guidance and direction. They said due to company policy they will not assist us and to contact the carrier direct. We have been served lawsuits in the past and sent to broker for assistance. And they filed the claim on our behalf. Terrible company policy. Won’t be using them again.

EXTREMELY unresponsive
I'm used to nobody responding to my emails, phone calls, or requests - but this time when someone ACTUALLY responded, they failed to provide half the documentation I requested.
Why doesn't anybody ever answer? I'm STILL waiting for answers from September of 2025, and January of 2026.
