Excellent course despite being a short one! The course being incredibly informative, not only helped me learn a lot on Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Combating the Financing of Terrorism (CFT), but also deepened my knowledge on the said areas. Further, it develops the learner to adopt strategies on how best to formulate ideas and implement them effectively. I would, without any reservation, recommend this course which comes with well-organised contents and is focused on practical situations.

On the contrary, I would urge ICA to allow the learner to review their answers (in particular wrong answers) on successful completion of the course. This would undoubtedly help to correct the learner on questions that were answered incorrectly, and further learn in the process.

This course was really nerve wracking at first especially after reading through my first assignment which covered quite a broad proportion of the course, and I actually became anxious after I received the feedback for my first assignment, but then i was happy upon seeing the feedback for my second assignment. Overall this course is very intense and requires a lot of hard work, but it leaves the candidate feeling fulfilled and very knowledgeable on the subject at the end of the day.

I have rate this organization 5 star for many reason,my main reason is that the explanation is crystal clear, you are allowed to ask question.

I find online sessions a waste of time, because we are getting split into groups and encouraged to have a discussion, which I don’t find useful at all.
When I signed up for a course, I expected the knowledge to be delivered to me by the experience tutor, not other students, who are often even less experienced than me!
Therefore I would suggest to deliver the course in a form of shorter lectures, perhaps ending with a little quiz, instead of the current format.
Also, in my opinion, a written assignment doesn’t verify your actual knowledge, only your writing skills and ability to search internet – the multiply question exam seems to be a more adequate here.
Other than that, I enjoyed a course content and I find it useful in my everyday work.

the course is knowlegable and covering most targetted learning materials. The materials are clearly expressed with samples. Unluckily, no face-to-face lecture available during pandemic period.

I have been perusing through the site of ICA for over 4 years. Why? There are so many fantastic courses they are offering that I wish I could study them all at a go. Once I was able to arrive at a conclusion on which area I really wanted to settle for, I registered; read the materials and sat for the exam and passed.

The most interesting part is after I added my new achievement to my resume, recruiters were all over my inbox on LinkedIn. I got a job in less than a week in the area I really wanted to work in. Prior to that, it's been rejection upon rejection. Oh, and the new job is with one of the biggest banks in the world. I feel like I am equipped with what others do not have. I feel unique.

Key takeaway: Achieving ICA certification helped in demonstrating to my employer my staunch interest in the area. It really set me up as an experienced professional. I could talk confidently about the area professionally while everyone is listening attentively. I am considered a valuable person within the team. Amazing!

Taking the advance course is in the offing. Either you are a degree holder or not, go for the certification: that will demonstrate genuine interest to potential employers. They look out for the extra effort you put into your ambition.

The training is very clear, informative and factual. Yet you wont get bored of reading as it is rich of real case studies. it was for me like a story i liked to read and think analytically about the events of it.
As someone who already knew a little bit about Money Laundering procedure,the course taught me things I didn't know and hadn't thought about.

It's a great learning experience for me, almost spent a year in learning, and ICA's virtual sessions are very informative and fun, overall great material and qualified tutors, gained great knowledge on AML, Thank you ICA

The course was great as it allowed me to enhance my AML knowledge whilst also being able to demonstrate what I already knew and this will no doubt serve me very well going forward in my career.

Sadly however, the one and only reason for the 3 stars rather than 5 is the marking of assignments and feedback provided. To be told that my responses should have considered all the components of the questions when my responses covered everything the questions asked is quite frankly ridiculous. Given I work in AML, I've seen first hand the issues that subjective interpretations cause and sadly the same thing has happened here.

Emails go unanswered. Over a month after I passed the Diploma course..still waiting for my certificate!!!!

I totally recommend it!

Online learning sessions were rushed and did not give enough time for questions as the teacher was always rushing to move on, teachers were unavailable for support, and emails went ignored, feedback was promised but not delivered... poor value for money, would not recommend.

Conflicting information given around assignments e.g. Assignment review session said that assignment could go over word count by 10%, however the online video states this is not allowed.

It was a great learning experience, very insightful and impactful. The content, the interactive sessions, the materials were all superb. I enjoyed every bit of the journey. I will definitely take another course with the ICA soon.

A well organised course, and an eye opener, sharing different point of views and approaches to the subject. Well presented and paced, with up-to-date information handed out in the online seminars/webinars.

When doing my assessment online, the system on there end crashed and deleted everything I had answered in my exam! This happened TWICE! i called & emailed they said they would get the problem solved for me, 2 days later they emailed me saying I will have to pay for the ENTIRE course again if I wanted to pass. Which is ridiculous. As it wasn’t my fault the system crashed.

It was a great time of study and the materials were informative and well presented, I really enjoyed my time studying the ICA course. Hopefully, I'll take up a new challenge by registering for a different course or the advance of that which was completed. Thank you for the support and clear information provided.

I enjoyed every aspect of the course ranging from course material to the excellent customer services provided by every member of staff whom I came into contact with either by email, telephone or during the interactive lecture session. I look forward to complete the advanced level stage of my course.
