unreliable !
I have been tracking my parcel for 13 days. The estemated delivery date was 2017-01-17 but on 2017-01-13 almost 4 days too early it was all over , failed attempt and no more info.
The tracking showed the parcel beeing in a city about 2 hrs away, it was never even close.
What now?
Do you expect people to stay at home and wait?
Why was i not informed by SMS, E-mail, or a phone call that a delivery was bering made?
Regards, Samy

3 parcels sent, had to call customer services for all 3
I recently tried InterLink Express on two separate occasions to send 3 parcels because. I selected them because they are a subsidary of DPD who I've had great experience with as a customer.
As the sender of parcels the experience has been poor. All three parcels were not possible to track using the provided information from InterLink on their website and I had to call customer services both times to find out what had happened to the parcels.
To their credit all parcels were delivered next day and customer services were helpful, but the hassle makes it not worth bothering with them in future.
On the first occasions customer services told me they were having problems with the website and tracking was simply not working. On the second occasion I was told the parcel had been relabelled (no idea why because it'd printed the label and attached it securely covered in polythene) and i hadn't been sent the new label number, so it looked like the parcel at arrived at InterLink and sat there for two days.

POOR SERVICE, NO ATTEMPT TO MAKE DELIVERY TO CUSTOMER.
I HAVE BEEN IN ALL DAY, NO KNOCK ON THE DOOR, JUST LEFT A FAIL DELIVERY CARD, AND CAN'T GO FAR AS I DO NOT DRIVE, NO ATTEMPT TO MAKE THE DELIVERY, I KNOW HOW THIS WORK'S AND WOULD HELP IF YOU KNOCK ON MY DOOR, COMING FROM A EX COURIER.

Non delivery again
I had a parcel which was due for delivery on Monday 9 Jan I received a card to say I wasn't in (with a photo of the door) which is strange as both me and my husband work from home and were both in although our usual sign had dropped off the door. I re-arranged it for yesterday (10th Jan) and said it could be left in a safe place but also that we would be in all day which we were - we have an outside home office and I left instructions on the front door with a number to call in addition which works for all other deliveries. I got an email confirming delivery and between 0600 and 2200 but it was not delivered - no message or anything.
I now logged on to track it and its apparently back at Ipswich with delivery today but not confirmation to me. Not acceptable and not the first time this has happened and no way to contact you other than your ridiculous tracking system which doesn't help as there is no option if a pracel has not arrived to report it or to complain. I have also emailed you on the social media address. Not happy.

Dreadful service
My parcel was due for delivery today which was confirmed by a text message. I did not receive a one hour delivery slot. I wasn't going to be in so I requested the parcel to be left in a safe place. The request was acknowledged and I proceeded to track the parcel. The parcel showed delivered at 10.25 am and signed for by the driver. By this time there was someone home to check the delivery of the parcel. There was no parcel delivery, no calling card. I tracked my CCTV footage and found that no one had entered my propery. I contacted Interlink Express customer services who were very efficient and contacted the depot responsible for delivering my parcel. The response from that depot was that the driver had mistakenly delivered my parcel with a bulk order to a company but that he would collectit and deliver it today. I arranged for someone to stay in to accept the parcel but it did not arrive. When I arrived home at 5.20pm the parcel still hadn't arrived. I again contacted customer services this time by telephone, again they were very helpful and contacted the depot responsible for delivering my parcel. They were told that the parcel had been collected but the driver had gone home and couldn't deliver the parcel. This was at 5.30pm. The depot is open until 6.00pm and I had an assurance that my parcel would be delivered today. This is a terrible service, not by the central customer services but the local depot, there was no explanation as to why the parcel couldn't be delivered. I will be relaying my experience to the sender of my parcel for their information. Apparently my parcel will be delivered tomorrow although it still shows on the website as delivered. I am told that I will receive a new notification in the morning with a one hour delivery slot but I didn't receive a one hour delivery slot in the first place. I wait to see what happens tomorrow. Definitely not the great service I have received from UPS and other couriers in the past, never had this ever and I order all the time on-line. Not been served by Interlink before tho.

Absolutely terrible service
Still waiting for my parcel to be delivered after a week and half, I've left instructions to leave with a neighbor and/or in a 'Safe place' with notes on the door. The last 2 days the parcel hasn't left their depot even after speaking on the phone with an adviser. I was told "The only option would be to collect it from the depot if you need it urgently." - Unfortunately I can't make a 26 mile round trip after work on public transport to pick up heavy server equipment.

Parcel not delivered...
So I changed the delivery date of my parcel from the 3rd Jan 17 to 4th as I was not going to be at home. I get a text message on the 4th to say my parcel will be delivered between 6 and 7pm and I follow the delivery van on the tracking website. Around 6.45 I hear a van driving off my street and it's the interlink van and my parcel still not delivered, I check the tracking site and it says it should be in about 15 min, once it reached 7pm, the time changed to say it will be delivered on the 4th between 6am to 10pm. Question, I could see the van on my street at 6.45 pm and it's obvious the delivery driver forgot to deliver my parcel, he must have just delivered a neighbours and left. I have no idea now when it will be delivered!
This is probably the worst parcel company I've ever seen.

Poor poor communication
On 3 Jan 17 I received notification that my parcel would be delivered on 4 Jan 17. As I was working I arranged delivery to a Collection Point as I needed the parcel on the 4th, and this was confirmed by text message and email.
On the morning of the 4th I received another notification stating that they could not drop off my parcel at the collection point and they would attempt delivery at my home between 12:19 and 13:19. I arranged with my work to let me take a later lunch break so that I could be at home to receive my delivery, however it never arrived. Assuming that the driver was running late (it happens) I took advantage of the 'In Flight' options and requested that he leave the parcel in my designated safe place and selected 4th Jan 17 as the delivery date, which was accepted. To my surprise I then received a further notification stating that my delivery would be left in my safe place on 5 Jan 17?? Just to double check that I hadn't selected the wrong date I repeated this step ensuring that the 4th was selected, which it was. Low and behold a further notification confirmed delivery on 5th Jan.
I phoned the depot, who were very polite, and they confirmed that my parcel was too big to be left at the Collection Point, which was fair enough. They went onto explain that the delivery was then cancelled at this point which seems very strange considering I received correspondence otherwise i.e. delivery at my home address between 12:19 and 13:19. The call centre operative (her name escapes me) then went onto explain that I would have to wait until the next day to receive my delivery or collect from the depot myself. A) I still require delivery today, and B) I cannot take off any more time to travel to the depot before closure.
There are clearly a number of failings here with this company which is surprising considering their ISO 9001:2008 (Now 2015) registration. As an ISO 9001 auditor myself I find it surprising to note the number of issues raised on places such as this forum and social media which makes me suspect that Continuous Improvement is not being adopted to resolve the underlying issues and improve the customer experience.

Misrouted delivery TWICE!
What a horrible experience with this company. A complete nightmare. I have filled "Make it Right" form now and been told that my complaint will be taken to Managers for investigation and to make sure this doesn't repeat but I have no confidence in this delivery company and WON'T! After paying for next day delivery on Thursday my parcel should have arrived on Friday. Got a txt confirming it and all. Then hours later got a text that it won't be delivered until Jan 3rd because it got misrouted to Bridgewater depot after being in my local depot in Denton. Like seriously you guys? Would I have paid next day delivery if it wasn't important for me to get my parcel NEXT DAY? No. That's not enough. It was upgraded to Saturday delivery then but I got told that it may/ or may not arrive back to my local Denton Depot by midnight so I should check... and that they won't be able to deliver it to me either way because they don't do deliveries on Saturdays? Or was that meant for that particular Saturday? I still remain puzzled. I said, I don't mind really picking it up from Denton if this is the case. Then the lady I spoke with assured that it should most likely arrive by midnight ready for Saturday collection and that Ishe'll leave message for her colleagues letting them know that I want to collect it from Denton. Then I get a text that I have arranged collection on 3rd Jan LOL Felt like I've been laughed at. Called back to Denton just to confirm that I still will collect it on saturday, to which the lady said that she couldn't put Saturday on system so that's why I got this text but that I can come and get it tomorrow. I wake up the next morning to find out that my parcel has been in Denton depot indeed but then misrouted to Irlam, their DPD Manchester Depot ...... and is locked in HUB!!!!! So there was no way I could get my dress for New Ywars Eve! What a waste of my time and money to even talk with these people. How can you misroute a delivery TWICE? Don;t you guys learn anything from your past mistakes? I have no trust that anything will be learnt after this and therefore won;t use this service ever again, and won;t recommend my friends to use it either.
I have ended up looking for different dress instead and asking for refund from the online store where the undelivered dress was bought. I don't think they were thrilled either, and I know I'm not the only costumer disappointed.

Steer Clear!!!! Hopeless
Update: 7 months later and still waiting for your call Nathan!
Update 2: Hey Nathan, it's almost a year since you promised to contact me to resolve my complaint. I realise that a year is not excessive for DPD so am still waiting!
Steer Clear!!!!
I decided to try out a new supplier for my business but will not be able to continue as they use Interlink. Because their driver made minimal effort to find my house (in a hamlet of seven houses) I have no supplies until Tuesday, today is Friday. I have let a client down which is unacceptable to me...but obviously not to Interlink. Hopeless.
Update: they did come to my door today but only allow one and a half minutes at each stop so by the time I had got to the door they had gone and refused to deliver again today, despite the fact that I phoned them quickly. Having a disability means that getting to the door immediately is not possible, I don't think I was longer than a minute, which is not an age really. I had sent my mobile number which they did not try before leaving. Have cancelled order and will not buy anything from anyone who uses them as a delivery option.
This was via the Exeter branch.
Update: STILL waiting to hear from you Nathan! And Alex if you look on my reviews then you will see that I heaped praise on another delivery service!

no effort made to deliver my parcel …
no effort made to deliver my parcel there was no calling card left the driver apparently took a pic of my door except the pic he took was of the sky and a bit of tree, i also left a note on the door to give the driver some instruction as to what to do, also the email sent to me telling me what time my parcel would arrive was sent 10 minutes before it would arrive now i dont check my emails every ten minutes so next time at least give me 1 hour, i dont see how the driver couldnt find my address as i live above a post office which might have helped them out. also i know the driver didnt even come to my address because i was sat outside my door waiting for it. and they have a go at me by saying i wasnt in, no the driver is at fault ive never had a problem with deliveries only with this company. terrible, ****, waste of my ******* time. i hope to never have to use this company again.

Unable to deliver your parcel
Waiting today for a parcel to come and yes, these days you only wait for a gift!
Tracking the driver from their website, at some point I saw he was one delivery away from me and about 15 minutes from my apartment.
So, I was on the door waiting...and waiting...and waiting...
Next thing I know when I refreshed the web-page is this automated message:
"Sorry, we were unable to deliver your parcel as there was no one present to sign for the delivery; we left calling card number 56****37"
I was in to sign for the parcel! How ψαν you missed me? I was waiting for this!
Then a message on my mobile for a voice mail. I quickly call the number suspecting that was the driver and he "happily" informed me that he will try to come tomorrow.
All of that happened in less that 2 minutes!
Tried to look on the website to change the delivery address but no option for that.
So, no one rang my door bell, no card found, the driver couldn't come back at this point or even later (although I respect that, he is not the one that is responsible for the delivery plan) and of course no parcel!
That means that I have to loose another day of my annual leave to wait again inside, hoping that tomorrow someone will bother to ring the bell.

Dishonest
I have been waiting around all day for interlink to make a delivery.
After repeated calls via the retailer to confirm the delivery time, finally around 4pm they confirmed they would deliver between 18:50 and 19:50 (I'm still in that window, and yes, you guessed it, I've been in the whole time!).
The next thing I know - interlink has advised that I wasn't in!
I was downstairs near the door the whole time, no-one rang the bell, no-one knocked on the door - there was no card left so no evidence anyone attended.
My alternative delivery option was to leave with neighbours - they were both in, but, you guessed it - they didn't get a knock on the door either.
Unfortunately this courier company doesn't let you call them to correct their misinformation. I'm sure it makes them plenty of money this way.
Not a happy bunny as you can tell.
I am going away to visit my frail grandmother for Christmas, tomorrow. So can't receive the parcel for another week now. I dread to think how complicated it will be to arrange that.

Absolutely baffled
So I got the package sent to my mums address and after being sent a text saying 'not going to be in?' I asked them to literally just leave it on the doorstep. After tracking the order all day it finally says 'Delivered, signed by D Sullivan'. Seeing as my mum does not share my surname nor do we have anyone in our family with the first name initial D it has either been delivered to a random person or no one at all. I fail to see how even this is too hard to accomplish when I've literally said just chuck it on the doorstep. Had it said 'Left in safe place' and it was not there I'd understand since I've requested it to be left out in the open but why put that someone has signed for it? This is all the more infuriating after having paid for next day delivery.
