Ipsos has fought tooth and nail not to…
Ipsos has fought tooth and nail not to provide two promised £5 vouchers for two of us who completed a faulty survey. It has been an amusing pastime to see the lengths to which they will go to avoid honouring a promise. The survey (started in June for Sport England) had a fault and would not allow the first of us to proceed, so Ipsos sent a paper copy for the second person to complete, but signed my aborted on line submission as 'complete' even though I'd only got half way through. No vouchers arrived in the post. Over the months, I have been told variously that the vouchers had been sent, so I must have missed them in my inbox; that a voucher takes 8 weeks to process; that they had been sent again; then that they had no record of my participation - demands for further screenshots. I sent a photo of their letter saying 'thank you for completing the survey'. Now they have told me to log back in with with a code that months ago they said they could not provide to redo the survey and guess what, the same glitch that I had alerted them to four months ago has recurred. So far we have received one voucher - with a hole in it.
You won't be paid even though you finished answering the survey!
You will be told that you're not qualified for the survey only after you already finished answering all of the questions. It's always the case. I don't know why this survey panel is still operating when it's crystal clear it's only scamming people. So for those who are new in answering surveys, if you read IPSOS in the address bar, just click back because you'll just waste your time answering a lot of questions without getting paid.
ipsos is the worse survey company!
ipsos is the worse survey company ever!! Imagine wasting 40 minutes for a survey and they didn't pay me saying I'm not qualified for the survey after the survey already finished at 100% worst company ever!!
Zero Respect For Your Time
Constantly phones random people at stupid o'clock or during work hours. Requests your involvement in surveys that they are hired to do with no respect for your time. Doesn't take no for an answer. Ignores the Telephone Preference Service using a loophole (calls are for research purposes not marketing) despite their company undertaking research FOR client marketing purposes.
The questions they ask would raise red flags to anyone with any kind of knowledge on scams and all it does is normalise intrusive questions to those vulnerable to scam calls.
This kind of practice should be illegal. Avoid.
OMG the pension survey kept going on…
OMG the pension survey kept going on and on with these ads & asked if I'd see them. I hadn't seen any yet they still kept showing the ads it seemed to go on forever. This survey was much too long for one sitting. It was supposed to take 10-15 mins but must have been MUCH longer & for 80pts NOT HAPPY
You must be accurate when stating how long a survey will take.
UPDATE: They are still doing it. I completed a survey about opinions on some adverts which I had to remember & give detailed answers but was hoping to get 30pts. Then at the end you say 'while I wasn't a good fit for the survey we reward you with 3pts. what a cheek. If I wasn't a good fit WHY did you let me complete the survey?
Stop harassing us
Stop harassing us! Keep coming round and won’t flipping go. Being rude to my daughter and just not taking no for an answer.
Sod off, don’t come back, not welcome or invited.
Wouldn't recommend to companies or those wanting to be paid for their time
I completed several market research tasks with this company for H&M. When I hadn't been paid, I contacted the company multiple times and was ignored. When I finally did get a response I was able to get some of the money I was owed. However when trying to get the rest of my money I was ignored. I had asked for a complaint form multiple times but again was ignored. To get my complaints heard, I used a task to ask them to pay me which warranted a response from Sophie Rowell (senior programme executive) who told me as far as she was concerned I was paid and that they had even paid me an extra £20 as a "good will" gesture, when infact this £20 was money they had owed me for a task I had completed and I had provided screenshots to prove my completion of the tasks. Trying to get paid for tasks from this company is more stress than it's worth and I wouldn't recommend anyone being a participant in their market research. I also wouldn't recommend companies using this place for their market research as it has changed my opinion on H&M. I'm still owed money which I doubt they'll pay me and I've now been removed from the market research after I told them I didn't want to take part if they weren't going to pay me.
When i first signed up it was good
When i first signed up it was good. Got incentives. Now it's difficult to get help and trying to get incentives, it doesn't work. And now I have points waiting.
Be wary
Ipsos was great for about a year and a half but I think I earned too much money as they terminated my participation without any notice and would not allow me to redeem my awards that I earned.
Once I contacted them to ask why I could not redeem my awards, I was told I was terminated because of "inconsistent responses" and as such, allegedly per their rules, I forfeited my awards and any further participation.
The thing is, their rules state that they have to give you written notice of their termination and then a 10 day window is allowed so that the participant, or former participant, can redeem their awards.
Although I stated this in multiple emails, the response as the same, e.g., I provided "inconsistent responses" and thus, I forfeited the awards I had earned.
So I did what apparently a lot of people have done....contacted BBB. ONLY then did Ipsos respond with stating they will give me a credit for Amazon.
SO sad that an alleged professional organization can treat participants as garbage until the BBB is involved.
If you want to earn some money, do it, it's fun actually and I enjoyed doing it, but be wary and redeem your awards ASAP.
Be careful
Be careful, they offer 3,000 points if you give them your credit card details…. Scam, be careful

IPSOS is changing
IPSOS is changing. And, they have a new CEO that is driving the change. I have worked for IPSOS since 2015. In 2023 I got a new back office team that was nothing but chaos and confusion. In March 2024 I lost $500.00 in possible income and in April 2024 $1,500. When I complained about the lack of communication, the lies, bullying and harassment coming from these people the new manager gave me a termination letter full of verifiable lies. For example, I demand my emails answered after hours the same day. First, in emails the date and timestamp show this is not true. Second, I have worked in the field long enough to give 2 days for emails. I am not one to work in a place where I have abuse. I contacted other IPSOS managers and the CEO. I received an email from the corporate attorney that if I signed an NDA never to share this experience and never to work with IPSOS again they would pay me the last job fee in dispute of $250.00. I have a 9 out of a possible 10 rating with IPSOS. I average a 9 or 10 at other companies. IPSOS began to bad mouth me. All of a sudden certain other companies with IPSOS ties, their jobs began to have unexplained problems. My work load has been cut 90%. Instead of verifying why a good worker complains IPSOS opt to get rid of the worker. I have watched many good workers leave the company. The back office functions in an atmosphere of fear. I am working on a class action lawsuit. Like is shown on this board, other boards reveal the same, IPSOS has changed their work ethic and these new folks believe they can get free work.
The "rewards" are mere pennies
The "rewards" are mere pennies. I don't feel very rewarded for my time spent. Ad says $25-45 per hour. The old bait and switch. Ad was for product tester to test products in home. Not that at all. Endless surveys. No products.
Unwanted persistent doorstep surveyor
A couple of weeks ago I received a random letter from Ipsos saying someone would be calling to my house to interview me (I've never contacted Ipsos or spoken to them before) and I threw the letter into recycling and thought no more of it. Just to clarify right at eye level outside my porch door is a very polite sign saying, 'No leaflets/flyers/menus or salespeople', my home is my place to kick back and relax, if I want to talk to people I go out - simples. Just had a man from Ipsos call so I politely said to him, 'thank you for calling, I appreciate it's not easy knocking on doors in the rain but I'm not interested in doing your survey'. However he kept on about why I should do this political survey for Ipsos, I said I wasnt interested and that I'd spent years of my life fighting for services for a family member and that at the age of 61 I was tired and let somebody younger do the time consuming 40 minute survey please. After several minutes of unsuccessful attempts to change my mind he really wasn't happy and he left my premises with a disgruntled attitude and look on his face. Maybe some people would feel guilty about refusing to do the survey but I certainly dont, please tell your surveyors that 'no thank you, i'm not interested means just that', I'm sure many people would just say 'eff off now before I connect your face to my tarmac drive', maybe I should have!!
