iRock has become a powerful outlet for my son as he works through the effects of past traumatic experiences. Learning the drums, in particular, has given him a safe and structured way to express emotions that are often difficult to put into words. The rhythm and physical engagement helping him to release tension, build focus, and regain a sense of control.
Over time, drumming in his band and performances has not only boosted his confidence but also provided a positive routine where he can experience achievement and joy.
Through music, he is finding healthier ways to cope, communicate, and reconnect with himself.

With each concert, it is incredibly rewarding to see his progress, and for him to take part gives him a strong sense of achievement and pride in how far he has come also.

I would like to sincerely thank his tutor Conor for the care, patience, and encouragement shown. His support has made such a meaningful difference, not only in helping him develop his musical ability, but in giving him a positive and safe outlet to express himself. Seeing his growth, confidence, and enjoyment through drumming and performances has been truly rewarding, and that would not have been possible without Conors dedication.

I also want to acknowledge the importance of Conor being such a positive male role model for him.
With no male teachers in the school, Conors presence has had an even greater impact, and it means so much to see him look up to him with such respect and trust.

We are incredibly grateful for the role Conor has played in his journey of discovery his musical talents.

iRock has been fantastic for my daughter over the past 2.5 years. The coaches are highly experienced and brilliant at helping children learn different instruments while also teaching them how to work together as a band. The customer service is excellent as well. I would highly recommend iRock.

My daughter experience was absolutely amazing and excitement. I recommend these to the kids. They have vulnerable time and make them so confident thank you so much to be part of your team

Theo joining I-rock 2 years ago in reception class has been one of the best ever things for him in terms of personal development and confidence . By doing something which allows him to follow and nurture his passion for music , he has truly blossomed all round which has been wonderful to see . He is absolutely loving being the vocalist of his band . The coaches who he has experienced over his time in the band have been just brilliant ; what they do for the children is just remarkable and they deserve the biggest applause and recognition for their efforts week after week . Theo has loved having Scott who he will miss obviously, but knows Lewis from another time and is enjoying having him as his new band coach .
Huge thanks and hats off to the two lovely coaches who stepped in on concert day this Christmastime last year and weren’t familiar with the children - despite this
it was truly a fabulous show, thank you both guys and so sorry I can’t recall your names , maybe a Dave ..as I’m writing this in March !

The sessions are the reason my child wants to come into school on a Wednesday!

iRock is a great way for kids to play music together and is accessible for children that don't read music notation yet.

The concerts in school Assembly were really fun and each band sounded really good. The teacher was really fun.

We are very lucky to have irock come to our school. My eldest son has been doing it for almost 4 years and my youngest for almost 3 years. Their confidence has grown and we have had two incredible coaches who put on amazing concerts! It has been an incredible experience for my children.

For about five years, my sons have been involved with iRock, and it's offered them an amazing chance to collaborate in a band and hit the stage. The latest KS2 show was, without a doubt, the best I've ever heard in all my years of attending these events. The coaches excelled at coordinating the young musicians, ensuring that everyone stayed on beat, which is crucial for a song's success. Each band performed at an unexpectedly high standard, and the kids were clearly having a blast. While they'll need additional classes beyond iRock to continue their music education, this experience provides a unique opportunity to come together and truly rock out. I can't recommend it enough!

Just been to my sons iRock concert at St Peter Chanel school and WOW. Absolutely fantastic how Liam and his team have got Frankie and the other kids playing in just his first term of doing it. Very proud dad moment I even got pulled up to play a bit of base which was a laugh. Highly recommended you wont find anyone better.

Thank you so much for the lovely concert and performances you organise. It’s clear how much hard work you put into preparing the kids. Although I wasn’t able to attend myself, my child’s father spoke so highly of it, and I have watched the videos and seen the pictures. It was a true pleasure to see them perform.
Thank you for everything you do- your dedication really shows, and you put so much effort into getting them ready for these concerts. I would highly recommend irock to everyone.

My son is only 4 years old and in Grade R. But he goes to school every Tuesday morning with incredible joy and asks if there are music lessons on the other days. The concert date hasn't arrived yet, but we're really looking forward to it.

iRock really does rock! My Grandson has really enjoyed his sessions and has been learning keyboard. He has autism and the staff are wonderful. His confidence is growing and it’s been wonderful watching the children perform. He enjoys it so much that he wants to book into the before school session too to do vocals as well as keyboards during the mid morning session.

Watching our 6 year old son have the confidence to perform on stage in front of his entire school, and seeing how well he can hold a rhythm on the drums, has been a real highlight for us this year.

My child loves his lessons and is really enjoying learning to play an instrument

Really awful customer service, tried to cancel payment over summer holidays only to be lumped with an email stating I had to pay, because I hadn’t told them by message that I wanted to cancel. They cancelled a bunch of lessons due to staff suddenly leaving and didn’t issue any refunds

IRock has been amazing for my son! We are in our third year and watching his drumming ability and his confidence grow is wonderful. Liam, my son’s teacher is lovely, very approachable and the most important thing is, my son really likes him. IRock’s customer service is incredible! Highly recommend them.

My son has been taking part in iRock sessions for the last 2yrs. So very glad we signed him up for them. It’s been a great experience, he loves being part of a band rather than learning on his own. The termly gigs are lovely. We’ve seen not only my son grow as a musician, but the whole band (drummer, singer, bass guitar, lead guitar & piano) grow in confidence, in ability to give a performance.
I would highly recommend iRock to any & all parents. The kids love it

My son absolutely loved doing iRock. He was a bit uncertain at first as he is autistic and can be quite introverted about joining in with new things. However, once he got used to it, he absolutely loved it and it has massively improved his confidence. The teacher has been absolutely fantastic and his energy enthusiasm is so commendable. We loved the concerts for parents as it was so nice to see all the children having such a wonderful time and how well they respond to the teacher’s direction and encouragement.

IRock is a fantastic way of introducing yr child to an instrument with the added bonus of being in a band, which ultimately makes it all the more fun 🤩 My daughter has loved her time with IRock it has given her a space to be herself and switch off from classroom learning and, we have seen her confidence grow. All of this have been possible because the teachers are brilliant with the children. Thanks IRock 🤘🏻
