It felt more like a showcase than actual music education.
Unfortunately, our experience with iRock Music Lessons was quite disappointing. My son attended lessons for over a year, and I expected him to gain a solid foundation in music. However, instead of receiving real musical education, the focus seemed to be solely on preparing for performances. For the entire year, my son only learned to play one key, with no real development in understanding music or progressing beyond the basics.
While the performances might be fun for parents to watch, the lessons lacked any meaningful educational value. If you're looking for a place that truly teaches kids about music, this might not be the best option. It felt more like a showcase than actual music education.

iRock has the best teachers my grandson loves it there
iRock has the best teachers my grandson has more confidence plays in the band group, he made friends and parents of the group are now great friends too, it is family, fun and great learning school can recommend iRock to everyone

Our son just finished his 2nd summer…
Our son just finished his 2nd summer camp and I just want to say how much he enjoyed it. Dave, Karl, Nial, Whitney and Jordan were amazing! They all have him so much confidence and although he has music lessons at school and can generally play the songs, it was wonderful to see how they support all the children during the performance to make it amazing! Please pass on my thanks to the team! It’s a great camp and he will be back next year!

iRock school of music
iRock are a fantastic group, my daughter has thoroughly enjoyed every lesson and her confidence and love for all music has skyrocketed. She started learning guitar but decided it wasn't for her, the coach was brilliant and helped her change over to learning drums. My daughter started this program very nervous as a newby but now gets very excited to perform in the end of term concerts with her band mates! I would highly recommend to all parents/carers.

Disappointed
My son loves iRock, but unfortunately the coucher didn't recognise him after 3 months of lessons. It was quite stressful when the coucher said that my son wasn't been there for the morning lessons, but he was. I iRock invite the parents for performance, but didn't call the kids. I will not recommend iRock. This happened around Christmas.

My Daughter Really enjoys IRock…
My Daughter Really enjoys IRock sessions at he'd school, she has said it makes her more confident and enjoys performing infront of a large audience.
She said she has gained more friends and loves being apart of a band.
The only thing she dislikes when Awesome IRock Teachers leave like Billy who have taught her since she started.
As a Parent the Sign up, communication and general interaction with the IRock team has been great, my youngest is due
To start next term and I'm sure he will also enjoy the experience.

Absolutely poor service my son has been…
Absolutely poor service my son has been with them for over a year and learnt nothing the teachers are constantly changing he's had 4 teachers since joining he plays one piece of string on the guitar in all that time he's been with them. £40 a month it's embarrassing both performances I've watched he's done the same move, no improvement won't refund when you cancel taking people's money is all they are interested in I've removed my son he's not been to 3 sessions and they still want to take the £40 for this month please avoid they suck you in make it sound amazing when really it's a poor service!!! Quick to take people's money but not sort the issues out seems I'm not the only one with the similar view SORT IT OUT IROCK YOUR MONEY GRABBERS!!!!

Great lessons, great coach
Great lessons! My son Oscar has grown from a shy not confident child into a great performer. He loves the lessons and he likes his relaxed and cool coach Dan H, who is very understanding and his approach has a very positive impact on my child’s learning and development of his guitar skills. Oscar was a complete beginner and now he is doing very well, fascinated by guitar and practices often at home on his own guitar.

Amazing!!!!
My daughter just had her first concert and it was the most amazing thing ever!!!! She had such a great time and her face of happiness was unplayable!!!

The band is doing well
The band is doing well. However, I would like to see the vocalists make some movements as they sing. At the moment they look tensed on stage as they just stand in one place with no moves. I believe if that is worked on, it will make the band more lively.

Enjoys lesson's but some simple stand alone tunes to learn would be good
Enjoys lessons but sometimes finds it a little repetitive, but I guess that's how you learn. I think she'd like some simple little tunes and guidance that she could be doing at home. A tune she could learn and hear without needing a whole band for it to make sense. Cannot fault value for money though and teachers are very nice

Wonderful experience for kids
My kids enjoy the irock classes so much and we love seeing the shows. Great performance practice in front of people. Great for their confidence too. They are very proud to do it. Fenella is an amazing teacher.
