We approached Serum IVF after several failed attempts and immediately felt at home and taken care of. We were offered a tailored treatment, which was successful the first time round. We are eternally grateful to the entire team, without which our baby miracle would never have happened.
Serum IVF offers state of the art treatments and boasts modern equipment on spotless premisses. They are also well prepared and helpful with facilitating the collateral medical needs that derive from an IVF procedure.

If you are considering Serum IVF I would consider them best in class in every aspect. I was initially referred to the clinic due to their expertise with immunological issues.
They showed profound care, dedication and commitment to every step of the process in making one’s dreams of becoming a parent a reality.
Every interaction I had with each team member, from reception, embryology, doctors was kind, respectful and professional.
It took many selfless people to facilitate my becoming a mother and I give thanks to them everyday as I hold and gaze at my twin boys.

From the very first conversation with Serum IVF, we knew we'd come to the right place and any nerves we felt about going abroad for treatment just melted away. The English speaking team were extremely professional with a genuine warmth and kindness. They went above and beyond to keep in touch at every stage and put you at ease.

Everything was tailored to our individual case rather than the one size fits all approach we'd experienced at other clinics. We had an innovative procedure at Serum that hadn't been mentioned in the UK. They are also the gentlest IVF doctors I have met.

The clinic in Athens was high tech and spotlessly clean. Athens also happens to be a beautiful and interesting city so we were able to see the sites while there.

Thanks to the Serum team, we are now a family with a beautiful son and I would recommend them to anyone on their journey to become parents.

It was a privilege to come to Serum IVF as the doctors and midwives are wonderful, kind and personalize treatment much better than my experience in London. I feel they have more knowledge in a different way, and more innovative. I felt well looked after and I love how the clinic is based on the premise of being a caring clinic and not just a conveyor belt. If I had known about this clinic earlier and researched better, I would come straight here instead of London. An added bonus, I met a couple of wonderful women there during my treatment that have become friends and felt like an extended holiday combining treatment with being able to experience other things Greece has to offer - wonderful people, food and sightseeing.

After nearly three years of struggling with infertility, long wait times & rigid NHS criteria and mounting frustration + emotional distress, we decided to seek help from Serum IVF—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

From the very first moment, the team at Serum IVF provided us with compassion, expertise, and unwavering support. Over the course of just three days in the summer, they conducted thorough investigations, diagnosed our underlying issues, and offered clear and effective treatment options. Their approach was so personalised and reassuring, making us feel genuinely cared for at every step.
We flew in on a Thursday, seen the same day, follow up Friday, treatment Saturday and home again Sunday.

We also stayed in their accommodation, which was not only convenient but also comfortable and welcoming—helping ease the stress of travelling and treatment. Every detail was thoughtfully arranged, allowing us to focus solely on the process.

After our first successful IVF egg retrieval and transfer in 2022, we decided to go back and try for baby number 2 in September 2024 and I’ve recently found out we’ve been blessed with twins. I couldn’t speak more highly about Serum, everyone is so lovely, so responsive by emails what ever time/day you contact them. They make the journey easy and stress free! Thank you again Serum xx

I initially had a good impression of this clinic and would have recommended them based on our experience during our first IVF cycle a year ago. The staff were friendly and supportive, which left us feeling optimistic. When we first visited, they performed a hysteroscopy and advised us to try conceiving naturally for another six months, despite the fact that I was already 40 years old.

When we returned for IVF, they sold us medication (cash only), but upon checking at home, we discovered it was set to expire in just six months. Additionally, a polyp they were supposed to remove during the previous hysteroscopy was still there. Despite all this, we managed to retrieve one egg, but unfortunately, the cycle failed. I now know that it’s not recommended to proceed with IVF with one egg only.

The following year, I was advised to undergo ovarian PRP and another hysteroscopy. This time, the clinic recommended buying medication from a questionable pharmacy that provided no itemized breakdown of costs. We later discovered we could have purchased the medication elsewhere for much less.

We proceeded with the medication, but it ended unsuccessfully because they missed my ovulation and no eggs were retrieved. Throughout this process, we were shuffled between three different doctors. The primary doctor, Dr. Gryparis, was unavailable for our first scan, so we saw another doctor. When it was time for egg collection, Dr. Gryparis briefly introduced himself, seemingly not even remembering me. The entire process felt impersonal, as though they followed a one-size-fits-all protocol with no individualised care.

During our final consultation, Dr. Gryparis was dismissive and rude, essentially saying, “Well, these things happen. Anyway, you’re 43, so your chances are low.” This lack of compassion and personalised care was incredibly disheartening.

If you are looking for a clinic with a personal approach and consistency in care, I would not recommend this one. Additionally, their recommendation of an unethical pharmacy and their apparent focus on maximizing profit at the expense of hopeful and trusting patients raises serious concerns about their practices.

After several failed attempts at another clinic, we moved our fertility journey to Athens and the amazing Penny and her team at Serum. The service was amazing, everything was explained & tailored for us, resulting in beautiful twins. After many years we were finally able to visit Serum in it's lovely new location, where we were treated as family, Penny even giving teddies to the children. Sadly Penny's husband has since passed but we were able to remember him in our photos due to the lovely picture in reception. Serum will be forever in our hearts ❤️

I started my ivf journey in 2019. By 2024 when I contacted ivf Serum I already used 2 different European clinics without any luck.
When I had my failed embryo transfer N6 I decided to ask 3d opinion from Serum team.
Surprisingly they started valuable conversation with me, they booked an appointment with their ivf consultant ( I would like to highlight FREE of charge). I received extremely helpful advices without being their primary patient! It’s shocked me that these type of ivf business still exist!
Because 5 years of my ivf battle with other clinics proved a total differ attitude.
I would highly recommend this ivf clinic. I cannot thank enough a few special people who helped me ( not directly ) but with professional assistance achieved my desired pregnancy and be a mum of gorgeous son!

Well what can I say! Serum are amazing after years and years of failed cycles in the uk we had perfect embryos and a miracle little girl after one cycle with Serum. Everyone is kind knowledgeable and puts you at ease with everything. It's the best thing we ever did coming from the UK yo athens and now we are here again yo hopefully make a second sibling miracle!

Everyone at the clinic were so proffesional and at the same time I found everything was so personal and close and that made me feel welcome,safe and I new I am in good hands from the beggining. I’ve been to Serum in Athens twice now, and I can honestly say it's the best clinic if you’re looking for a more personal touch. I had my son three years ago following a successful low-stimulation cycle (my first), and I recently returned for a FET with my remaining two embryos.

The clinic has moved locations since my first visit (it is very swanky now), and while a lot has changed, their exceptional care and commitment remain unwavering.

Penny, the founder and owner, is incredibly empathetic and genuinely cares about every patient. The entire team consistently goes above and beyond, offering unparalleled support. Where else can you text your coordinator almost anytime and receive a prompt response? Their responsiveness is truly remarkable.
However, I’ve seen firsthand how this can sometimes be taken advantage of or taken for granted by some patients - sometimes I think people get used to such high standards of care that they want even more. I don’t know how they do it - but bravo.

Thank you, Serum, for everything you’ve done for me. While our journey together has now come to an end, I will always be grateful for your existence.

My final recommendation for anyone planning to visit Serum: I highly recommend staying at Seroom Suites, located right next door to the clinic. It offers luxury accommodation and an affordable price, making your experience not only convenient but also comfortable and relaxing.

My wife and I have nothing but praise for Serum. After visiting other clinics without success, we found that the team at Serum genuinely cares about their patients’ well-being and works hard to tailor treatment to individual needs.

We will be forever grateful to Serum for helping us welcome our little girl into the world.

5 stars doesn’t really do this clinic justice, after numerous failed rounds of ivf and years of heartbreak Serum made our dreams of having a family come true! Penny is a true Angel and cares so much about each patient, we felt like people rather than just numbers for the first time. The treatment and service is next level and worth every penny compared with the U.K. thank you to the amazing Serum team!

We had IVF at serum after 5 years of miscarriages and failed fertility treatments in the UK. We used a donor egg & my husband’s sperm. We had one round of IVF in September 2019 and our son was born in May 2020. I cannot recommend the clinic more, I’m so grateful for everything they have done for us, they made me a mummy, they made my husband a daddy and they did it with such care and attention. It felt like such a different experience from previous rounds from the outset. In the U.K. I found they would wait for rounds to fail before trying something else, maybe I might have natural killer cells, an infection, thin lining - it felt like such a battle. What I love about serum is they addressed every possible scenario before we had transfer. Unfortunately our son became unwell and needed a liver transplant at 5 months old and I me turn this as the clinic were amazing. Assisting with DNA samples etc for the donor when our son was undergoing testing to help him get a diagnosis to get treated. This was honestly invaluable. I am so happy to say that our Lion is doing so well. He’s at preschool, running round, eating us out of house and home and singing to us and making us laugh constantly. Our boy is perfect, everything I dreamed of for so many years. He’s beautiful and strong and kind and funny and caring. We are just about to embark on another donor egg round of IVF with serum to hopefully have another and I’m so grateful for the love and care serum have shown us. I visited the clinic last month to get things moving and have a procedure to prepare me for our cycle and they were amazing as ever. I could not say enough good things about the clinic, the consultants, the doctors, the embryologists the midwife’s, the receptionists - everyone. If you are considering ivf with or without using a donor I’d recommend serum wholeheartedly. These guys are amazing, follow their advice and recommendations - give yourself the best chance. I had treatment at Serum after several failed rounds in the UK. From the first contact I was so impressed and felt like the initial contact questionnaire took more information about us than any Dr we saw in the UK. Serum are so thorough in their approach and with them we had our longed for little boy with them. We still have regular contact with our clinician and share updates. The clinic is state of the art, all the staff are so friendly and I have always felt such warmth and compassion from the staff. I am so glad we decided to go abroad and for the care Serum gave us.

Five stars is not enough! Our family is complete thanks to Serum and we are forever grateful to Penny and her team for leading us through the past 5 years! Words cannot express enough how much we love this clinic! We flew 7000 miles each way to this clinic from California and we wouldn’t change a thing about our journey. Treatment itself was much more innovative than what is typically offered in the US. Plus the pricing was extremely reasonable and you will simply not find another clinic that nurtures your relationship and values you as a human being like Serum does. Whatever the challenge is the team at Serum will find a solution until you can happily say that your family is complete. Over the past 4 years we welcomed two beautiful healthy children through IVF and had wonderful pregnancies with both thanks to the support at Serum. They are simply an extraordinary group of people. You will not find another clinic on the face of this Earth that will hold your hand through the fertility journey like they do and we are FOREVER grateful.
