We bought the Jackery 3000 with solar…

We bought the Jackery 3000 with solar panels as an emergency back up for our freezers. Products came in good condition and power was about 3/4 full. My husband plugged everything together and topped off the power station with solar, then ran a standing shop light with the power station. Everything worked as expected.

The hardware is great

The hardware is great. The software is flakey.
It was tricky to hook up my second battery. One message said "just plug it in". That didn't work. I needed to turn it off and unplug it INCLUDING the solar panels. Then plug it in and turn everything on.
I have it set to "charge to 90%" in order to use the solar panels. With the 2nd battery that gets weird. The 2nd battery gradually charges to 100% over days while the main battery gradually only charges to 80%. So on average that is 90% but its weird and confusing.
One day the power went out and the battery was great. But eventually it ran out of battery while I was not at home. When the power came back on, it charged the battery but it didn't turn the AC back on. My wifi router was on the AC, so it never turned on, making it difficult for me to see what was happening.
Anyway, the hardware is great but keep working on the software.

Happiness with Jackery!

The support from Jackery is excellent. Ordering online and I’m actually talking to a human who is looking for every discount he can find! Delivery is fast and configuring the equipment is day - it all works together.

I bought a Jackery 5000 as a UPS

I bought a Jackery 5000 as a UPS. The unit has failed 9 times causing IT and security equipment to turn off during the night. Jackery has sent me several firmware updates that have only made it worst. They have now given up. I purchased it only 3 months ago and they say they will not stand behind it. They are offering me a free generator cover to compensate me. I wish I had read more reviews before buying it. This is a huge investment completely lost.

Explorer 240 - useful device becomes paper weight.

We bought a Jackery explorer 240 to power our POS and LED lights at our outdoor stand during our weekend town street fairs during the summer. It worked fine for two summers, however, when i got it out for this summer’s street fairs, it would not charge. It was stored with battery partially charged. It’s been very lightly used and charged no more than 15 times. I now have a 5 lb. paper weight.

Reset the unit – Press and hold the Display button for 10 seconds until the screen restarts.

Charge for 2–4 hours using the original charger – the battery may need time to recover from deep discharge.

Storage Tip

For long-term storage, keep the battery at 60%–80% charge and recharge it every 2–3 months. This helps prevent over-discharge.

CPAP Users for RV life

I just bout the bundle Jackery Explorer 1500VS with the solar panel. Was looking for a solar battery for a CPAP for the RV. I ran the CPAP resmed 11 with humidifier and heat for 8.65 hours and only used 20% of the battery. Very please, I hope this helps other CPAP users, also is very friendly use.

DONT WAIST YOUR MONEY!! My jackery explorer 1500 with 4 solar panels paid 3,200 only used 3 times still has plastic on screens die on me and the company wouldn’t help get a refund or replace. Worst company ever.

great information & response time

I had several questions about how to hook up solar panel(s). It took a couple of days for actual response (after AI generated "we received your email") but the information was excellent and it was NOT computer generated but a real person. My follow up query was then responded to very quickly.
